Hi everyone, welcome back to the Just Being a Mom podcast. Today, I wanted to share with you my experience of losing 10 pounds. As a busy mom, it can be challenging to find time to take care of ourselves, but it's essential for our health and well-being.Firstly, I want to say that losing weight isn't just about looking good or fitting into a certain size. It's about feeling healthy, strong, and confident. I had been struggling with the baby weight for a while, and I knew I needed to make a change. Here are some of the things that helped me lose 10 pounds:1. Setting a goal: I set a realistic goal of losing 10 pounds in two months. I broke it down into smaller weekly goals, which made it easier to track my progress.2. Portion control: I started measuring my portions and counting calories to make sure I was in a calorie deficit to become more mindful of how much I was eating. I used smaller plates and bowls, which helped me eat less without feeling deprived.3. Drinking water: I made sure to drink plenty of water throughout the day. It helped me feel full and also kept me hydrated.4. Exercise: I started working out regularly, doing a mix of cardio and strength training. I also incorporated more activity into my day, like taking walks and playing with my kids.Overall, it took a lot of discipline and commitment, but I'm so proud of myself for reaching my goal. I feel more energized, confident, and healthier than ever before. I hope this inspires you to make positive changes in your own life. Facebook Strangers You Know Community Page - Please join the discussion online!Today we are talking about The Artist's Way by Julia CameronI would love to hear how you manage your inner critic, how you step away from your crazy life and what you do to find peace, and live in the moment. We've had several conversations this week with several of my listeners about what they would like to hear in the show and what would interest them. There is a Strangers You Know Community on Facebook. It is a private group, but it is open to everyone. So if you're interested, join and we will add to the list. In that community. We have conversations with past guests. We talk about ideas and concepts that came up in interviews. And I encourage my listeners to share their thoughts. So please join the conversation there and let us know what you want to hear, what you liked, and interact as many of my former guests usually jump into the conversation. We're talking about adding a live event as one of these off-episodes. Where you can call in and ask me questions or you can call in and ask and talk to a guest where we'll have updates from past guests on what's been going on since their interview or how they felt about that conversation. I'm trying to grow this into a community where we can all get to know one another. Because, while we do spend a considerable amount of time in conversations with these strangers every week. I want that idea of the stranger to include each of you. And I would love to hear what you say and your comments and thoughts. And I would be very grateful if you could share those on the Facebook community with others and start the conversation there.Okay. So it's just me today and I'm trying something a little different.About ten months ago, I went to lunch with a friend and she recommended a book that has made a big difference in helping me sort things out on my journey. The book is The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron. It's designed to help individuals discover their creativity and silence their inner critic. I've always had a very loud inner critic. And for most of my life, I've not only allowed my inner critic to sit in the front, but I've actually allowed it to commandeer the driver's seat for almost everything. I am constantly on the go. I constantly have things to do. I'm always worried about the next thing. Tasks, and check-lists. What''s accepted, expected. What's allowed. Not focusing at all on. The moment. On me. I'm just being. Support the show Financial contributions greatly appreciated! Join our Facebook Community and continue the conversation there with many of our listeners and guests. Gaea Star Crystal Radio Hour #507 is an hour of visionary acoustic improvisational music performed live by The Gaea Star Band at Singing Brook Studio in Worthington, Massachusetts in October of 2022. With Mariam Massaro on vocals, Celtic harp, Native flute, ukulele, kalimba and acoustic 6- and 12-string guitars, Bob Sherwood on piano, Craig Harris on congas and Native drums and Cevhar Demirel on flute and bongos. Today's show begins with the stately “For The Greatness” a fine meditative groove decorated with Mariam's elemental Native flute and vocals, “Every Moment” is a blustery, tonally ambiguous folk song that evokes motion and mystery and “The Portal” is a gorgeous raga driven by Mariam's chiming Martin 12-string and a powerful rhythm section from Craig and Bob. Mariam forms the outline for the mysterious, evocative “The Portal” with steady guitar chords as Bob arrives at an ostinato in fourths that creates a floating, meditative mood. Mariam again creates the structure for the arriving piece with the beautiful, deep “A Beautiful Treasure”, this time with her kalimba, outlining a mode that Bob spins into a series of bittersweet chords beneath Mariam's gorgeous melody of deep longing. “Spirit Calling” is a piece powerfully influenced by indigenous American music, a mesmerizing piano motif, driving congas and Mariam's flowing vocals and Native flute create a lush cloud of sound. “Let's All Be Free” arrives in flute fanfares from Cevhar as Bob establishes a hypnotic, circular, never-changing piano raga beneath Mariam's beautiful, melancholic melody. Today's show finishes with the slow burn of “Just Being”, a powerful Native-Afro-Cuban piece that presents each player's strengths in a fiery instrumental and vocal display. Learn more about Mariam here: http://www.mariammassaro.com
This is neither preaching or teaching "Just Being". The graciousness of the Spirit to cleared up legacy, cap table, sample and example, difference in IOU and I own you, works and the difference in your work and His work, The, still mocking. Welcome back to our last summer series episode! As much as today's episode is geared towards the kids, I'm pretty sure this is one that the parents should tune into too, because we're talking about dealing with pressure and burnout. Kids get burned out too and parents are not sure how to help them. Today's episode is allowing me to jump in and support you with some ideas on how you can navigate getting burned out or having too much pressure or feeling stressed out. This is something that kids are facing, and we need to give them the tools, the resources and the encouragement to face it head on. So kids, if you're feeling that pressure, if you're feeling stressed, if you're worried about going back to school and navigating all the things, this episode is for you! Let's raise them up right! #15: Imagine someone you love making a list of all the things about you that annoy them, and then you stumbling upon said list. This actually happened to me… with an old boyfriend. We as humans have a hard enough time navigating our own imperfections (and making sure they don't hold us back from showing up and creating impact in the world) but when you see those very same imperfections spelled out on a piece of paper by a loved one, it's devasting. First, you feel defeat, then you feel anger, then blame, and then you go into full-on control mode to make sure you never feel this way again. We hope people-pleasing and perfectionism will lead to being liked and feeling enough, but often we're just left feeling burnt-out, boxed in, or held back. The true path to inner freedom and big impact is found in Just Being Seen as Whole. Thanks for listening to Just Being! #14: As a kid, I was interested in all things tarot cards, clairvoyance, and Ouija boards. I was even a regular customer on Etsy purchasing $13 psychic readings. It was my way of creating control where I felt I had none. The problem? This desire for control left me seeking external authority and answers at a massive cost to my self-agency. So I took a multi-year break from it all… until one day I decided to send money to a stranger on the Internet and learned how to see energy as a tool for self-trust and inner growth. Let's talk about that journey - and how to hone your gifts in extrasensory perception- on this episode of Just Being Seen as Energy. Thanks for listening to Just Being! #13: I once walked out of an appointment in tears because it felt like everyone around me wished I would do the opposite of what I felt was right for me and my daughter. My guest this week has lost close friends because of her gifts as an energy healer. It's not always easy owning less conventional parts of your gifts and your work... We sometimes feel intense pressure to justify or defend ourselves. Or we try to hide away our intuitive or spiritual knowings. Your job isn't to be liked by everyone, but to trust yourself and be fully y-o-u. Here's how to let yourself Just Be Seen as Multi-Dimensional. Thanks for listening to Just Being! #12: We all have voices in our lives that weigh heavily. Perhaps it's a parent. Or a mentor. Or, like it was for me, it might be your spouse. And while it's certainly not wrong to value the opinions of others, especially those close to us, making other people the authority in your life or business might cause you to take action that's out of alignment. When you're operating in opposition to your intuition, unleashing your greatness and getting what you truly desire is found by stepping into your truth - and Just Being Seen as Liberated. Thanks for listening to Just Being! #11: ‘You look like you're playing business.' I wasn't offended by his comment because once I saw what he did, I couldn't unsee it. I was trying to prove I had serious work to offer the world versus just being here to do serious work. As a result, I was watering down my impact. #10: I was a rule-follower. People pleaser. Committed to the ‘good girl complex' and what I thought it meant to be a ‘good' person. My guest this week had his own upbringing with rules he was expected to follow… until he found those very rules threatening his life. In this week's episode of Just Being Seen, Michael Weston and I are constructively challenging the rules around what it means to be “good”, be successful, and make money or create impact… and talking about how to create your own rules that align with you who are now and where you want to go.Thanks for listening to Just Being! #09: You're exhausted by your marketing efforts because you're playing an unwinnable game. Rather than trying to convince people who don't get it, what if you focused on connecting with those who do? How do I make more conversions and sales? Let's break down the ‘unwinnable games' holding us back in business, and talk about how to find your community in this episode of Just Being Seen as Connective. Thanks for listening to Just Being! #08: Within a second of glancing at his profile picture, I was hit with a tidal wave of fear. I knew nothing about this man, yet I could sense him: he had dark energy. Later, I'd learn this individual was a con artist with a dangerous past. Angela Brooks is a retired psychiatric nurse who's had coffee with some of the worst people you can meet on the street. We often talk about the “light” side of being intuitive, but talking about the “other” side too is how you hone your gifts, deepen your self-trust, and expand your impact in the biggest way. #07: Have you ever heard someone say, “There's a six-year-old running around in a 40-year-old's body?” Despite growing older, some parts of yourself might not exactly be adults. And the problem with that is, when your inner child's at the wheel, you might end up getting the exact opposite experience than what you're intending. It begs the question: How do you actually get what you want? And not just what - but who - is driving your thoughts and behaviors, and dictating whether you're working with yourself, or against? Thanks for listening to Just Being! #06: There are facets of my life I decide in advance to fail at. Bathroom etiquette is one. Making ‘hot toddies' is another. Because it's abundance, not shame, that's found in Just Being Seen as Imperfect. Know what else you'll find there? The key to freeing yourself from the ‘self-help spiral' and the answer to one of Law of Attraction's biggest questions: What do you do when no matter what you do, you just can't change that one area of your life or business you're trying so hard to fix? Let's talk about it in this episode of Just Being Seen as Imperfect. Thanks for listening to Just Being! #05: I'm one of those people who cries when impassioned - like when talking about the work I do or when watching someone in the fullest expression of their gift. I also cry when I feel like I'm in trouble or did something wrong. And definitely cry when I witness something traumatic - like when I found a resident unresponsive while working as a teenager at an Assisted Living Center. So while I've always known I was emotional, what I didn't know was that some people are highly sensitive - genetically. Experts have studied what it means to have a highly acute nervous system, but there's still work to be done to acknowledge there's nothing wrong, and actually a whole lot right, about Just Being Seen as sensitive. #04: I almost got kicked out of college for plagiarizing a paper. Because it was more important for me to not fail than it was for me to succeed. More important to be perfect than just be me. Then there's the ‘Cranberry Juice Guy' who went viral online for skateboarding to work while drinking cranberry juice and listening to Fleetwood Mac. My off-brand moment that almost got me expelled and his on-brand moment that's now earned him well over $10k and a new truck. Two opposite-spectrum moments that allow us to look at how we're showing up, holding ourselves back, and what it means for us to Just Be Seen… On Brand. Thanks for listening to Just Being! #03: I might be good at saving face, but I was not good at failing. So when no one showed up to the event I spent months planning, I was humiliated - publicly. Fast forward 5 years and over 600 people would show up to the same event. This part of my story would become one of the things I'm most proud of. Which leads me to question: What if there's a deeper purpose to failures and mistakes? What if it was always safe for us to keep going even when things don't work out perfectly? What if it's okay to just be you and just be seen… even failing? Thanks for listening to Just Being! #02: If you ever feel like an aversion to public speaking is wired into your DNA… you might be right. From an evolutionary standpoint, humans have needed to fit in, not stand out. But now that our survival needs have shifted and putting yourself out there is becoming more and more crucial for impact and growth in business, how do you make showing up comfortable? What exactly is that spark, that magnetism, we see in others… and how do you capture it for yourself? What does it take to finally show up, be seen, and be accepted for who you really are? Thanks for listening to Just Being! #01: If you have a tendency to overthink like me, you know your mind can lead you to a lot of interesting places. Second guessing. Constant questioning. Searching for validation. There's no time this seems to happen more than right before or after speaking publicly (or posting on social media). No matter who you are or what you do, if you want real influence and impact in the world, you know you have to show up and let yourself just be seen. But how? Thanks for listening to Just Being! Talking with thousands of entrepreneurs, I've learned it's individuals with big hearts and big gifts to share that hold themselves back the most. It's your very good heart getting in your way. And I can't sit by and watch good-hearted, gifted people and business owners with valuable solutions for the world, hesitating to share them. Not just because the world will benefit but because I believe and know the most satisfying feeling in the world is feeling the impact of your gifts expressed. On This Episode we will be discussing Just Being you are in a separate household than your ex, it doesn't make you a Single Parent. If your Ex is providing for your child, still spending time weekends, summers, going to graduations and recitals, You are not a single parent! You're just single Sis! You cant say we are Co-parenting then in the same breathe say that you are a single parent. We have to build a strong cohesive foundation with each other as parents so that we can raise up strong kings and queens. Our Children must know that even thought mommy and daddy aren't together anymore, the same rules and parenting is still the same on both ends. Children are the best little manipulators alive. Well my friend, it's episode 10, and you know what that means! IT'S GENIUS TIME. Wes and MC are picking alter egos to be the cool eighth graders they never were, and here to talk about the dangers of letting your thirteen year-old go to college by themselves. It sounds very simple when we make a comment or suggestion to Just Be. In reality, to do so is a complex request for ourselves or others. When we choose to become more present and not on autopilot, we start on our life adventure and journey expanding ourselves beyond where we currently are. We usually start from a point of observing we are not where we think we should be given all of our life's mental gymnastics and beliefs we think we could be, should be or definitions of who we think we are. We are made up of all the stories we tell ourselves until we reach a point where we want to make a change. We realize we are no longer happy with what we are, who we are and what we are doing with our lives. We realize we are part of everything and yet we are nothing. When we make a request of ourselves saying ;'I can, we allow ourselves to explore all of the possibilities of truly being. This brief phrase removes the limiting boundaries that we likely have been experiencing most of our lives. Now we are a conscious creator stepping into the flow to grow with intention and inspiration Just Being.

Today I'm spilling the tea about my struggles with imposter syndrome and how me being the "pivoting queen" is actually a way to hide my gifts from the world! I've been praised over the last year for how easy I pivot when things shift in my life. Although it is a gift I have to be able to flow from one thing to the next, it isn't always for the best! Most of the time I was deep down, without knowing, doing it out of fear of failing. If I never pushed past uncomfortable, I never had to be successful or fail. I have hyperawareness in my situation and for the first time in my life I need to "DO LIFE" instead of "JUST BEING". For most people, it's the opposite they need to learn to be and be aware. I need to push and DO the things. I now know that I can not do it alone and that is why connection, communication, community are so important to me. I am part of a leadership circle, I have aligned business mentors, and I have released those mentors that were just keeping me busy in the busy work on the business.I've leaned into being messy. Taking massive, fast, messy action. And getting clear on what I really want in my life, not what someone else tells me I want with my life. In that clarity and speed, I feel unstoppable. No more hiding my spiritually, my beliefs in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. No more hiding my connection to the planet and energy healing. No more being quite like I've been told to do all my life. I'm ready to scream from the mountain. I AM ME and THAT IS ENOUGH TO BE WORTHY! Want to check out the entire episode. Listen above! Adyashanatı says, "The truth is you can’t try to let go…trying is the opposite of letting go…to let go is to relinquish trying to let go and is much more like letting it be" Let's explore how we can do this!
#16: Stop. This. Insanity. That’s what I said as I locked eyes with myself in the mirror. No longer would I leave meetings due to this insecurity. No longer would I fix, force, or try to look any different than I did. No longer would I tiptoe around what I ultimately knew to be true. I made a vow right then and there as I leaned against the bathroom vanity. It’s time to finally, FULLY just be all-inclusive to who I am. Thanks for listening to Just Being! #15: 50 contributors. Curated subscription boxes. Partnerships with Self Magazine. Certifications in 30 countries. Two six-figure businesses. Things were going well and by all accounts, I was incredibly successful. That’s why what I did next was all the more surprising. I wouldn’t know until much later that I was accidentally stumbling upon the key to sustainable success that finally feels as good as it looks. Thanks for listening to Just Being! Shauna VanBogart here, breaking plans and our scheduled podcast to speak very briefly to whats on my heart and certainly what’s more relevant this week. And to give you a piece of homework instead.Just Being podcast speaks in depth about self-healing — addressing your wounds, your inner pains, your emotions. I consider this self-work some of the most important work in the world and I feel privileged to play a role in it. But being a part of and witnessing an individual heal is not at the core of why I do this work. It is because I know what this kind of self-evolution does on a familial, generational, community and global-level. When you do this work, as hard and painful as it is to look at it and deal with it, what you’re actually doing in this process is increasing your capacity to love. When you connect to your inner child who was wounded, hurt and victimized, you are not just healing — you are quite literally expanding your field of compassion and your ability to empathize. This is actually what I do — not just help them overcome roadblocks but to assist people in becoming brighter and stronger conduits of love, because in doing so, it has an immediate and profound effect on the progression of society as a whole. When a client heals an internal wound, just loving and receiving love becomes easier. They don’t have to effort their way to self-care or trip up on setting boundaries or acting courageously, they organically just step into a place of empowerment. But the higher purpose AND payoff to you doing self-work is that it provides you with the stamina and strength to serve. To take action from a place of love not fear. But you don’t need to wait to heal yourself to expand your forcefield of love and empowerment so you can serve. This channel opens when we connect to any wound, including the wounds outside of us. It’s the being willing to go there, to hold space for, to engage that cultivates an expansion of love, and thus emotional intelligence and fortitude within ourselves. What you are seeing this week are many opportunities to expand your forcefield— our nations and our people’s wounds are playing out for us - quite loudly - calling for our engagement. Racism has always been there. It’s been loud and in our faces before — many many times — and it’s been far too easy to turn away, to judge it, or to say or think, “What can I possibly do - this is so big ..” Or “It doesn’t involve me, why get involved?” Or even “I’m not a black person so how could I possibly understand or help?” When you choose to connect to the wounds of others - not through the filter of judgement, fear, or ego; when you stop and look, listen, engage and refuse to turn away, no matter how painful it may feel or as uncomfortable as it is … what you’re doing in that moment is committing to being a part of the solution our country so desperately needs by becoming a conduit of love. To use the luxury of your privilege to champion for your fellow brothers and sisters who have been discriminated and oppressed for centuries — not because it’s just the right thing to do but because you KNOW in your soul, in your heart, that living a life of freedom only means something if they can participate with you.So instead of listening to my episode this week, I want to turn your attention instead to three incredible podcasts from black voices who speak to the systematic racism that still exists in our country. And if you don’t think this small and effortless action on your part does not make a difference, please listen to what I’m saying here — when you connect with these voices, attune, and use the tool of your listening ear to hear the stories and the voices behind them - to find empathy in the wounds of your community and these citizens in it … consider it an act of necessary self-expansion. I know you want to help - consider attuning to these voices as your homework so you can have the stamina for your actions. Build up your forcefield of love through the connection and empathy you will feel when you listen. lBecause love is the most powerful resource in this world - a force more powerful than hate that leads to profound movement and action that is not just seemingly obligatory but whole-heartedly necessary. Be a student of these voices, it will make you strong. It will make you courageous. It ill make you discerning. So that you can continue to take whatever action you feel compelled to take from the motivation of love, not fear. Here are my three podcast recommendations:Intersectionality Matters! - Hosted by Kimberlé Crenshaw, an American civil rights advocate and a leading scholar of critical race theory. (LINK: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/intersectionality-matters/id1441348908)- I specifically recommend the episode “A Mother’s Nightmare: The Life & Death of Korryn Gaines” for its intimate look at fear and the story of a 23-year-old black woman who was killed in her own home by police in 2016.1619 - A profound, historical work of art by the New York Times hosted by Nikole Hannah-Jones (LINK: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/1619/id1476928106). - This entire series, five episodes in length, is incredible. Code Switch - Fearless conversations about race, hosted by journalists of color, tackling the subject of race head-on and produced by NPR. (LINK: https://www.npr.org/podcasts/510312/codeswitch) - Their most recent episode titled, “A Decade Of Watching Black People Die” hosted by and Shereen Marisol Meraji and Gene Demby is especially powerful. We all have work to do. Let’s start here.
We all have had different experiences in our lives that have made us who we are. Today on Just Being a Mom Podcast, I’ll be talking about how we parent from our own experiences. These experiences make us all different as parents and as people. We’re supposed to parent differently because we’re all different people. This concept is hard for some people to grasp because some moms like “Karen” expect you to do things how they do it. WRONG... Tune in to find out my thoughts. Enjoy!..
#06: Sabotage. Resistance. Fear. Overthink. Distraction. Comparison. Self-doubt. Plateaus. No matter how you feel held back, when you’re not taking the action you know you need to take or when you hit a financial glass ceiling in your business, it’s imperative you get at the subconscious block keeping you stuck. You’re not broken, but it is time to evolve. Enjoy this episode of Just Being! Please send any comments and questions to hello@shaunavanbogart.com.External Website Linkhttp://shaunavanbogart.com
To make up for last week, I want to remind you that if all you're doing is surviving right now, that is enough. You don't have to perfect your bread recipe, learn a new language, declutter and organize your garage, or start that side hustle you've been meaning to launch. Just BEING right now in these trying and unsure times is totally enough. Don't feel pressured to do more than just survive if that's all you can do. Hugs, and I'm here for you.
#02: A woman in a pencil skirt and 4-inch stilettos hailing down a taxi on the streets of Manhattan. If you asked me to describe what I thought success looked like as a kid, this was it. But today? Today if I saw that woman, I’d guess she’s underpaid, overworked, and dying to take off her shoes. In-demand. Rushing around. Always on the go. Being an achiever is great… until it gets in your way.Enjoy this episode of Just Being! Send any comments or questions to hello@shaunavanbogart.com.External Website Linkhttp://shaunavanbogart.com
#03: Talking with a counselor, I demanded to know: How do I care less? Highly sensitive. Empathetic. Intuitive. It took me a long time to integrate these spiritual gifts (as I now see them) into my life and career. It’s only looking back that I can piece together how each hunch and gut feeling led me to the exact place I needed to be when I needed to be there. Surprise! You’re intuitive (and that’s a good thing). Enjoy this episode of Just Being! Send any questions to hello@shaunavanbogart.com.External Website Linkhttp://shaunavanbogart.com
#01: During the 4th of July party, I’m asked a common small talk question. So, what do you do? (And, I lie.) How are you supposed to respond when you just don’t know anymore? Or when you’re deeply uncomfortable talking about your work? Well, when you own your own business, you better figure it out (fast). When you’re clogged up, stuck, or flat out ready for a new adventure, you have to… just be you. Thanks for listening to Just Being! Two words. Six tiny letters. Years to understand and apply the wisdom inside of them — Just Be.I’m Shauna VanBogart and I spent years operating from a system that said achievement equals love, joy, happiness, fulfillment. But the more I achieved, the more boxes I checked off my list, the more friction I felt inside. And the more it affected other areas of my life.I would look at my professional bio, this long list of achievements and media credentials, I would look in the mirror and truly see a beautiful competent smart woman staring back at me … and I would find myself shaking my head. I started asking myself, does any of this really matter when I can’t seem to find the soul behind it? Where am I? What happened? Why can’t I feel as good as this all supposedly looks? Everything changed when I started asking different questions. Instead of, “What do I need to do?” I started asking, “Who am I?” and “How do I bring MORE of who I am to the table?"This podcast, this story, this journey will show you those answers. Just Being is both a personal journal, a series of stories from myself and others, and the wisdom for discovering how you can become more you and make it pay off - for both you AND the world. And not just financially but in all the other areas of your life. Hear from me and others who are living, breathing walking billboards of unconventional paths to achievement and success who place emphasis on intuition and emotional-intelligence.This 16-episode season of Just Being is a journey into bridging the gap between what it means to just be9… and how this essential and imperative unfoldment of who you really are plays a direct role in building an abundant, legitimate and profitable business. Maybe you’re stuck. Maybe you’re bored. Maybe you’re out of alignment or sensing there’s something more for you — something bigger for you to do in this world. Regardless, templated business strategies are out, turning inward is in. It’s time to evolve yourself so you can elevate your business and the impact it will have in this world. I invite you to join us by subscribing to Just Being in iTunes or your favorite podcasting app so you are the first to know when the episodes air.

Today's guest is Lee Rowley—entrepreneur, Copybrander, coach, author, mentor and now co-host of the podcast, Copy That Speaks. Lee is a highly sought-after copybrander. He describes what he does as helping brandpreneurs craft authentic, connection-focused marketing copy to attract their best clients. Here, he shares his personal story of how six years ago he and his wife lost their only child, 10-year-old Aria, to a rare genetic disorder. He talks about how his daughter's death shattered his life and the self-destructive path he lived afterward. But then he had an epiphany. He's now on a mission to keep Aria's legacy alive of Just Being authentic, and began to apply this motto to his business. Since then, he's dumped the typical, template-based copy and now teaches others how to use his Avatar Immersion Method to create authentic and meaningful copy so that entrepreneurs can connect with their customers in a genuine way. If you listen until the end of the interview, Lee shares how you can get a free copy of his upcoming book, The Avatar Immersion Method, where he teaches how you can do this yourself. Zen for Everyday Life with Matt Valentine: Mindfulness | Guided Meditation - Buddhaimonia
This is Modern Living week on the ZfEL podcast. I hope this week has helped you surmount the chaos and craziness that is so often our everyday lives and move to a place of greater peace and mindfulness. Today's guided meditation is "Just Being" and it's about just being, fully, in this moment no matter what's going on around us. Taking everything in, we open ourselves fully to this moment and experience the peace of living fully accepting of whatever may come.
