Reiser currently stars in two hit shows for Netflix: Stranger Things—the company's biggest series of all time—where he plays Dr. Sam Owens, a role created by the Duffer Brothers specifically for him; and Chuck Lorre's The Kominsky Method, for which he received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in and Golden Globe-winning comedy ended in May 1999 and premiered 20 years later as a limited series on Spectrum Originals. All seven seasons of the original Mad About You and the re-visit are available for streaming on Amazon Prime. The multi-faceted actor also revived one of his most iconic roles in the highly anticipated return of Mad About You, the long-running hit 90s comedy Reiser co-created and starred in with Helen Hunt. The Emmy, Peabody and Golden Globe-winning comedy ended in May 1999 and premiered 20 years later as a limited series on Spectrum Originals. All seven seasons of the original Mad About You and the re-visit are available for streaming on Amazon Prime. Having earned acclaim for his supporting role in the Academy Award-winning film Whiplash, Reiser was also recently seen alongside Kevin Hart in the Netflix feature Fatherhood, John McDonagh's War on Everyone and in frequent collaborator Jeff Baena's “The Little Hours” and “Horse Girl,” which premiered at Sundance 2020, the fourth film the pair has worked on together. The veteran actor has garnered praise for notable performances in films such as Diner, Bye Bye Love, Aliens, One Night At McCool's, Beverly Hills Cop I/II and The Thing About My Folks, which Reiser wrote for his co-star Peter Falk. Reiser is a fixture behind the camera as well. He co-created and co-produced There's Johnny!, a seven-episode series which originally streamed on Hulu and now streams on Peacock. The show, a fictional story set behind-the-scenes of Johnny Carson's Tonight Show circa 1972, co-created with filmmaker David Steven Simon and co-produced with director David Gordon Green in conjunction with The Carson Company, premiered to critical praise, with Decider saying There's Johnny! is “a television experience unlike any I've seen on TV in recent years” and “unfolds like a dream, a memory fondly recalled.” As an author, Reiser's first book, Couplehood, sold over two million copies and reached the number one spot on The New York Times bestsellers list. His subsequent books, Babyhood and Familyhood, were best sellers as well. Voted by Comedy Central as one of the Top 100 Comedians of All Time, Reiser regularly performs sold-out standup at venues nationwide with dates currently booked throughout 2022 and beyond. A SUNY Binghamton graduate of its prestigious music program, Reiser co-wrote the theme song for Mad About You, “The Final Frontier,” with Grammy-winning producer Don Was, and released an album of original songs with British singer-songwriter Julia Fordham called Unusual Suspects. Over the course of his career, Reiser has received multiple Emmys, Golden Globes, American Comedy Awards and Screen Actors Guild nominations. Reiser and his family reside in Los Angeles.

A fun little murder mystery with an all-star cast. Predictable in spots but lots of fun. Peter Sellers (nor anyone else) could get away with his character in this film today.
My guest is Jason Watkins who many of you will remember from his crucially acclaimed roles in The Crown and Hold the Sunset with the legendary comedy icon John Cleese returns for series 2 of McDonald and Dodds. He talks with me about some new twists in series 2 of the show and how in many ways he brought a little bit of the United States television detective Colombo played by Peter Faulk to DS Dodds.Series 2 of the hit mystery McDonald and Dodds dropped this week on Britbox and it is clear why the show was a big hit for ITV and now we get to watch another series of this fun mystery series. For those of you who missed the series, one Watkins plays DS Dodds a quiet and unassuming police detective paired with the more forceful and driven DCI McDonald (Tala Gouveia). The mismatched couple has just the right amount of quirky chemistry that makes the show a true delight. Featuring contemporary crime stories told with warmth and humor, the series follows this mismatched duo as they solve crimes in Britain's historic city of Bath. Instantly locking horns over their different professional and lifestyle choices, the pair soon forge an entertaining relationship and grow to realize that their differences will be their strengths when solving mysteries.Check out McDonald and Dodds now on https://www.britbox.com/us/Promotional consideration for Stream On with Jim Williams comes from Sling TV. My guest today is Peter Faulk, a man of many talents, a director of marketing, a father, a musician and sober for over 8 years now. Peter is also the creator of Soberworld.org and is on a mission to raise the awareness of the disease and its side effects as well as educating young people BEFORE it becomes a go-to fix for what ails them.Soberworld was created to sustain his recovery outside of the meeting world so he wanted to have something that was part of his every day mindset and thinking. It's was a way to give back and keep the focus going in a positive direction. The whole project has morphed into the building of a message and a methodology to help the world and society with this huge problem of underage usage of drugs and alcohol. We loose 3 million people globally to death by alcohol. In the USA we loose close to around 90K each year to alcohol related deaths. Peter was researching the fundamental cause and he came to understand that all of our fixes are on the backend of the disease instead of before it starts.Peter came to the realization that we basically have a thinking problem before we ever get a drinking problem. Soberworld is helping to educate the younger generation about this very addictive substance we pump into our brains to hyperstimulate our brains which happens to be to their detriment. Not to mention the HUGE financial impact which you'll hear about in this very interesting episode. You can find Peter at www.Soberworld.org#soberworldorg Thank you for listening and being a part of a supportive community that helps end the stigma. Kitao Sakurai 0:58:40 - BOSS LEVEL, Dir. Joe Carnahan Bad Trip Eric Andre, Lil Rey Howery and Tiffany Haddish bring us skit comedy and hidden camera pranks akin to Jackass, with a difference- They play characters on a journey through a shared plot of absurdity and misadventure. It is not as clever as it wants to be, and very often the laughs do not land but when they do, it can be funny. you should know what you are getting yourself into. In one of the segments, a gorilla forces himself on a man sexually. If you are still interested, you should watch it. (4/10) Boss Level Frank Grillo has certainly become a name among the better action stars and he certainly deserves it. Roy Pulver (Grillo) is trapped in a day in which he in killed...over and over each time waking up knowing a little more about the timing- where to stand to escape death in the form of bullets, assassins and swords. The cleverness comes, partly, in the comedy associated with the plot mentioned above. Boss Level is fully aware of what it is and doesn't try to be more and is a damn fun ride. Naomi Watts and Mel Gibson are great in their respective rolls and the Ex wife and villain. (6.5/10) Hosted, produced and mixed by Grayson Maxwell and Roger Stillion. Ben Falcone 0:58:25 - VOYAGERS, Dir. Neil Burger Thunder Force Melissa McCarthy- She's a household name by now and can be picky abutter projects. Octavia Spencer and Jason Bateman also with Bobby Cannavale as the villain. It's a good cast FOR the silliness that follows, though many of the jokes don't land well and obvious things are missed. Octavia Spencer is always fantastic as well as Jason Bateman and Bobby Cannavale. The problem with this movie IS Melissa McCarthy, unfortunately because she can be funny and has been on the past. BUT- If you are looking for a comedy that will make you laugh a few times, you've found one. (3.5/10) Voyagers Lord of the Flies. Alien. 2001: A Space Odyssey. Sunshine. All of these and more have pretty big influence in Voyagers. The Earth is used up and can't sustain human life much longer. One plan to save the human race is to repopulate other earth like planets. One such ship has created and grown baby children who will be raised and work / maintain the ship on its 86 year journey, with Collin Farrell along for the ride. When two of the kids decide to sop drinking the blue liquid that keeps them docile and suppress urges, others follow and society devolves pretty fast. Tye Sheridan, Lily-Rose Depp and Fionn Whitehead all star with a bigger cast of noticeable faces you've seen before including Isaac Hempstead Wright (Bran Stark). Voyagers is a slow burn with an unsatisfying climax. (5/10) Hosted, produced and mixed by Grayson Maxwell and Roger Stillion. Guest appearance by Chris Boughan. Music by Chad Wall. The Columbo Close is used when the client expressed disinterest in purchasing the product. You don’t want to be a typical pushing salesperson and you sense your decision maker is a bit skiddish so you may want to put them at ease. Say goodbye so that the client thinks the sales call is over, then they drop their guard and the sales call is saved. How did Peter Faulk do this?

In the post Trump victory, we sit here and ponder the hows, the what ifs, and the beauty of hope and faith in our future. All Things Must Pass, my absolute most favorite George Harrison song ever, is covered because the message is so comforting, even in the midst of dark times. We also talk tech on a brand new EERO router system, hear some hilarious audio from the archives of Peter Faulk and Chuck Duran (of VO Buzz Weekly), and so much more on today's Things I Find with Beau Stephenson podcast! www.BeauStephenson.com/TIFPodcast
In this exciting episode of Dopple Avenue Hurt, Keyes is determined to get to the bottom of the vase that he believes was planted at the Greenbalm household.
