Ever wondered how the end of the world scenario could possibly be the bull case this time around? Well, you're in luck! My conversation with Erik Smolinski delves into the fascinating world of bonds, options, and how Twitter's Spaces platform is shaping up. Erik presents a captivating narrative on the state of the market, exploring the unprecedented ramp up cycle of the S&P and the delicate intricacies of options pricing. We also grapple with the riddle of whether there are more overvaluation calls versus puts for broad average options. As we navigate the complex terrain of investing in bonds, we tackle the rising speed of treasury yields and the implications of current market trends. Together, Erik and I dissect the unique weekly correlation between stocks and treasuries that we've observed in the past year and a half. We consider how the rapid selling off of treasuries could rock the markets and spawn an 'end of the world' scenario that could ironically be the bull case for stocks. Finally, we pivot to the resilience of the consumer, the decline of retail stocks, and the potential domino effect of the looming pension refinancing crisis on the stock market. Through Erik's insightful observations of consumer spending and experiences trading options around earnings, we glean valuable insights. We round off with an exploration of the potential of volatility products, the fading of utilities, real estate, and the impact of treasury yields on the bond market. Through this platform, she shares financial strategies, best practices, and educational resources that assist companies in understanding their financial statements and achieving financial success. In this episode: As businesses scale beyond $100,000 a year in revenue, overhead expenses become more frequent and costly. Consequently, accounting executives lack financial clarity, creating the need for a fractional CFO (chief financial officer) to implement systems and provide guidance. How can you leverage these professionals to maximize profitability while focusing on your strategic vision for the business? According to executive CPA Hannah Smolinski, revenue and expenses impact profitability, so developing recurring revenue streams is pivotal for growth. Fractional CFOs can help you establish these systems by evaluating your P&L statements to optimize labor and additional overhead costs. If your company loses revenue consistently, a fractional CFO may recommend restructuring your business processes to boost profitability. This involves expanding your service offerings and value propositions based on your top clients' needs. Tune in to this episode of Systems Simplified as Adi Klevit talks with Hannah Smolinski, the Founder and CEO of Clara CFO Group, about creating recurring revenue streams. Hannah discusses the core profitability drivers for companies, when to hire a fractional CFO, and her process for helping businesses systemize their financials.

Billy Smolinski Jr. was a likable, friendly, and outgoing guy. In 2004, at 31 years old, Billy had just broken up with his girlfriend but made plans to spend the following weekend with one of his exes. He was upset over the breakup, but looking forward to a weekend out to help get his mind off of things. But that weekend wouldn't happen. A bunch of odd things would begin to happen. Billy allegedly asked a neighbor to feed his dog while he went out of town for a few days. But he left behind his truck and belongings. His family said he made no mention to them that he was leaving town, and they spoke regularly. He had also just returned from a trip to Florida. The family knew something was wrong, but the police refused to investigate. Strange clues would start stacking up, leading the family to believe something bad happened. In 2009, they began working on 'Billy's Law'. This would offer, in part, a change to the databases and set up a central system for missing person reports, a system that all law enforcement has access to. In December 2022, the bill was finally signed into law. But we still don't know where Billy Smolinski is. Although I'm certain that someone knows something. In today's episode, I'm speaking with the wise Hannah Smolinski of Clara CFO Group. She shares her best tips on how to grow and scale into 7 figures and beyond with strategic financial leadership, and using money as a tool for growth. We also talked about preserving the owner's energy and decreasing the opportunity costs associated with owners doing all the things in their business. You won't want to miss when we talk about Zone of Genius, and what that means for business owners, particularly with respect to reducing fatigue and increasing the “psychic benefits” of removing and delegating what doesn't belong on the owner's plate.  Hannah stressed the importance of getting crystal clear about what you really want to achieve in the next 3-5 years, and being incredibly intentional while implementing strategies and changes to achieve your goals. I love how she breaks down how she and her team ask not only what their client's goals are, but also what they're willing to do to achieve those goals.  Her parting wisdom is: Don't let finances and numbers intimidate you It's really about doing 3rd grade math (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) so it doesn't have to be scary Remember that your numbers tell a story, so you can get a lot of valuable information by knowing your numbers When you're ready to work with a strategic finance specialist, make sure you find a partner you can trust and feel comfortable asking all the questions, because there are no dumb questions in finance I really enjoyed our conversation and could have talked about the importance of strategic finance with her for hours. I am sure you'll learn a lot from this episode, so you know what to do. Grab a beverage or a snack and settle-in to listen to Hannah and her incredible wisdom. Episode 219: Let's get one thing clear, I'm not a financial advisor, nor do I play one on TV. But I have been investing in the stock market for years - and I've learned a lot along the way. I remember the first time I ever invested, my heart was racing and my palms were sweaty. I had no idea what I was doing and I was scared that I was going to lose all of my money. Fast forward a few years and I've now become a bit more savvy when it comes to investing. And while I'm still not immune to the occasional wave of anxiety, I've learned how to invest without being too scared. So if you're feeling anxious about investing, don't worry – you're not alone! And remember: when it comes to investing no one has all the answers, so always consult with a financial advisor before making any big decisions. Shoot! Now I sound like an infomercial...but seriously, this is important stuff!   In this episode Erik Smolinski of esInvests.com joins me as we discuss some simple strategies to become more confident with investing. We talk about associating yourself in a community of people who are committed to breaking out of the status quo financially and finding your own idea of what financial success looks like for you.     If you're looking for a more in-depth guide on investing without all of the BS, then I'd recommend subscribing to Erik's YouTube channel. He has great videos on investing for beginners, and how-to's and tips that will help any level investor perform better in their portfolio building.   To learn more about this episode and our guest Erik visit: https://go2.money/esinvests

Today's guest is Denny Smolinski, he is a software engineer turned beauty product entrepreneur. He has used his experience, knowledge, leadership and team building skills to start and grow beBOLD to where it is today. On this episode he discusses about leveraging variations to boost reviews on Amazon.Takeaways: Separate your product first before grouping them in a parent-child relationship.I advice everyone to create a parent-child relationship.Your customers will see much value in your products when you create a parent-child relationship. If you sell your items at a lower price, Amazon will take you off the buy box.If you decide to up your price because you are doing so well, Amazon will take you off the buy box.If you need to increase your rate, you need to wait for a time for your product to catch up.Quote of the Show:I suggest keeping your items separate until you submit them to Amazon Vine to get up to 30 reviews per item, then you create the parent-child relationships for your items. This way you have the potential to have up to 90 reviews for your parent item.Links:Personal – LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/dennysmolinski/ Personal – Twitter: https://twitter.com/dsmo50 beBold Digital – Website: https://www.bebolddigital.com/ beBold Digital – LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/bebold-digital/ beBold Digital – Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCzUR02JBolIkSlKKhsdv7rw beBold Digital – Twitter: https://twitter.com/bebolddigitalco Ways to Tune In:Apple Podcast (Leave a Review)iHeart RadioPodchaser (Leave a Review)Amazon MusicAudibleSpotifyGoogle PodcastStitcherYoutube Amazon Legends is sponsored by Argometrix, the authority on, and leading supplier of, competitive intelligence for online retail. In 2011, when medical doctor and epidemiologist Mark Smolinski was working as a science advisor for the blockbuster film “Contagion,” the film ran a campaign that asked communities: “What are you gonna do to prepare for the next pandemic?” A decade later, as the president of Ending Pandemics–a social venture that aims to predict, detect, and prevent disease outbreaks on our planet– Mark is still thinking about how we can rid the world of pandemic disease. In this episode, Mark shares why we use big data to track disease, explains how our interconnected ecosystems shape public health, talks about why ending pandemics is an achievable goal, and argues that local communities are the ones who can lead the way in understanding–and preventing–the spread of illness.

When your business is something you built on your own from the ground up, it can be scary going through a divorce and having part of that potentially taken from you. This is a pattern I am seeing a lot from my clients coming to me for help through their divorce. This week's episode 72 of Female Founders Breaking Boundaries is about protecting your business through a divorce!Have you ever felt like you were WAY too busy, stressed out, burnt out, and overwhelmed, so you were advised to delegate some tasks to take things off your plate and free up some time? Except, maybe it didn't work. If getting out of the day-to-day in your business was as simple as hiring more people, then why are you still feeling overwhelmed and burned out? You are not alone! Sometimes, simply delegating tasks doesn't work and instead shifts your workload from “doing” to “managing.”I invite you to use the exercise that our own C-Suite clients use to take the first step in turning your team into a well-oiled, self-managed machine- and get you out of the delegation catch-22. Download the exercise here to get started! In this episode of Female Founders Breaking Boundaries, my guest Hannah Smolinski shares the importance of looking at your business from a protective lens and actionable steps you can take right now to increase your financial literacy and protect yourself in all instances that may come up. Some of the things Hannah and I cover in this episode are:The ways in which a divorce might impact us and our business. Some of the factors that go into a formal business evaluation and determining if it is necessary. What options you have to protect your business from the negative impacts of divorce. The importance of financial literacy and where to start in understanding your joining financial situation. How to protect your own well-being during a divorce and advice for moving forward when the divorce is done.  No matter what type of situation you are in, it is hugely important that you have a backup plan to protect yourself and your business for whatever might come up.Thanks for listening!
