It was a weekend of knockouts all over the place and we're ready to go over everything from Jake Paul's big KO over Mike Perry to Junto Nakatani's body shot early stoppage in Japan. Plus, we have one of the premier boxing broadcasters going joining us and some Salvador Sanchez, Mike Tyson and Bernard Hopkins nostalgia are all part of the latest "Fight Freaks Unite Recap Podcast."Host T.J. Rives is with insider Dan Rafael of BigFightWeekend.com are back and ready to discuss it all. They first talk Paul's win in the MVP Promotions main event in Tampa, as he outlasted the bare knuckdle champ Perry for his latest win over a non-traditional fighter. Also, Amanda Serrano kayoed her overmatched opponent in just a couple of rounds and the likely kayo of the year from lightweight Lucas Badhi smashing Ashton "H2O" Sylve in a dramatic turn of events in their fight. Then, hear from DAZN's Todd Grisham, who was on the call Satudray night of the entire card and a night of knockouts. Grisham gives he insights on what he saw and heard ringside as Paul won and also the other KO wins. He also is ready to call the Terence Crawford junior middleweight title main event in two weeks in L.A.Then, Dan and T.J. go over the Saturday card from Japan that saw Nakatani win in the first round in his WBC bantamweight title defense over Vincent Astrolobio in Tokyo. What does the win for Nakatani mean for possible unification at 118 lb. or might he look to move up in weight? Dan also goes over the rest of the card and title fights. There's fight news on why it looks like the Vasily Lomachenko vs. Gervonta Davis lightweight showdown for two of the titles will NOT be happening this year and maybe, not at all? And, does this create an opporunity for promotional free agent and WBC champ Shakur Stevenson to maybe end up signing with Premier Boxing Champions. And, then could he be the guy that fights "Tank" Davis? Finally, the guys go over the anniversary nostalgia of the great Salvador Sanchez winning his final fight over Azumah Nelson in a thrilling 15th round TKO in 1982 and died just three weeks later in a car crash. They also talk the 1989 Mike Tyson KO of Carl "The Truth" Williams, which was questionable, and was also his last title win before Buster Douglas upset him in Tokyo 7 months later in 1990.And, Dan also talks nostalgia on Hopkins defeating Winky Wright in Las Vegas in 2007 and why more than the fight, he remembers the weigh-in mayhem pushing and fight, as he was ready to interview the fighters live on ESPN.It's all part of the "Fight Freaks Unite Recap Podcast" and make sure to follow/subscribe to this feed on Apple/Spreaker/Spotify, etc.!!Next, there's

The guys are joined by Jake Donovan of Boxingscene.com who will be covering/writing about the Haney/Diaz battle ringside. Jake gives insight on what's potentially next for the winner. And with George Kambosos having upset Teofimo Lopez last week for all the 135 lb. titles, is Haney a viable opponent to go to Australia to fight him? T.J. Marquis and Jake also go over Davis vs. Cruz, as well and whether Cruz can hang with Davis' power (23 KOs in 25 straight wins).? Next, T.J. discusses the Kambosos 12 round thrilling win over Lopez last Saturday further with Sergio "The Latin Snake" Mora of DAZN streaming. Sergio, a former world middleweight contender, was on the call of the Australian's upset when and has insight on how he did it. Plus, Mora, Todd Grisham and Chris Mannix are on all the call for Haney Diaz Saturday night. Then, Marquis rejoins T.J. to go over the fight cards Saturday and Sunday and give out some fight picks for "short term investment purposes," as well. Do they like Haney? Will it go the distance? Host T.J. Rives is back with senior writer Marquis Johns of BigFightWeekend.com and special guest Todd Grisham of the DAZN streaming service, as the guys are ready to preview the Ryan Garcia - Luke Campbell Saturday nightWhat will happen when the unbeaten Californian Garcia steps up for his biggest test as a professional against the former Olympic Gold Medalist and World title contender Campbell in this scheduled 12-rounder? Marquis and Todd offer their insight and analysis on whether Garcia, who has scored several early round knockouts in his recent career, will be up to the challenge if the fight goes to a 6th, 8th or even 10th round from the veteran from England.Garcia won his most recent fight in February by first round KO. Meanwhile, Campbell was last in the ring last August in a 12 round title loss to Vasyl Lomachenko in London. The winner of this fight may very well get a shot at current WBC World Lightweight champion Devin Haney around May or June of this year.Garcia is currently favored by Mybookie.ag at -410 and the oddsmakers believe that the under/over on this fight is at nine and a half rounds.T.J. and Marquis also go over the undercard on this fight that includes: the Alvarado Brothers both in action in separate world title eliminator bouts themselves before Garcia-Campbell.Make sure to hear it all is part of the big fight weekend podcast and make sure that you are also subscribed on Apple Podcasts, Spotify etc.!!Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/big-fight-weekend/donations

Thanksgiving is a time for family and friends to get together and appreciate the good that warms their lives, so per usual in the horror genre, somebody has to mess it all up! In this episode, Barnabas and Samael invite Turkie to their deliciously dreadful dinner table and examine perhaps the most prominent Thanksgiving-themed horror film of all time, "Thankskilling"! The raunchy, ultra-low-budget slasher and its "fowl"-mouthed star quickly became a cult favorite and could be one of yours too, so fill up your plate and then stick around for a few other recommendations to get you in the Thanksgiving mood. Just consider avoiding the dark meat... it may be a little spoiled. * Correction: We made an error while discussing the first article about "Brand New Cherry Flavor"; the author is Todd Grimson, not Todd Grisham. Our apologies!

They explain (again) why Matt Striker is the best announcer on TV today, give an example of what goes on in Vince McMahon's head, try to clarify why Todd Grisham compared Tommy Dreamer to the Brooklyn Brawler, wonder what's next for the Hardy brothers, ponder why tag teams can never seem to part ways civilly, and analyze what Taz has said about what his post-WWE plans are. They continue with chris trying to explain to Joey why TNA hasn't been completely terrible and reveal what may very well be terrible for the future of women's wrestling... Wrestlicious! All this plus so much more! Intro song: "Now is the Time" by Dope from the album "Group Therapy" Outro song: "Terminator 2 Theme" by Brad Fiedel Both songs are available on iTunes Show them that podcasting sells records!

We close out the 2020 calendar year with a jam-packed show previewing the College Football Playoff in the final weekend of the NFL season! Host T J Rives welcomes in special guests to help with the analysis inside and underdogs selections. He is joined by senior handicapper of Majorwager.com and Vegas Insider, Brian Edwards, as the guys go over some of the bowl games to date and then jump right into the two huge CFP semifinal games featuring Alabama as a 20-point favorite over Notre Dame and Clemson as a seven-point favorite over Ohio State. Will it be the chalk and another Bama vs Clemson championship matchup or could there be an upset brewing on Friday? TJ and Brian also have a couple of Saturday Underdog they like from other college football bowls, as well. Then in our middle segment it's the YouTube Round Table where T J welcomes in Todd Grisham of the DAZN streaming service and Marquis Johns, senior writer of BigFightWeekend.com website. Those guys are not just available to talk boxing, but they also discuss some NFL, including the wild playoff picture that has developed in the NFC for Sunday afternoon/night. In particular, TJ, Marquis and Todd discuss the almost comical NFC East race, which has the Dallas Cowboys, the New York Giants and the Washington Football Team, as someone has to win that division to make the playoffs. And the winner might only be 6-10 on the season. Speaking of the NFL, Brian is back in the final segment with his own insight and analysis and an underdog selection in the Pros. TJ has a couple of games that he's also got his eyes on for the Underdogs to try to cover on this final weekend, as well. We have only begun in 2021 and already a lightweight contender battle in Dallas has us popping on the “Big Fight Weekend Preview” podcast. Host T.J. Rives is back with senior writer Marquis Johns of BigFightWeekend.com and special guest Todd Grisham of the DAZN streaming service, as the guys are ready to preview the Ryan Garcia – Luke Campbell Saturday night What will happen when the unbeaten Californian Garcia (above) steps up for his biggest test as a professional against the former Olympic Gold Medalist and World title contender Campbell in this scheduled 12-rounder? Marquis and Todd offer their insight and analysis on whether Garcia (20-0, 17 KOs), who has scored several early round knockouts in his recent career, will be up to the challenge if the fight goes to a 6th, 8th or even 10th round from the veteran from England. Garcia won his most recent fight in February by first round KO. Meanwhile, Campbell (20-3) was last in the ring last August in a 12 round title loss to Vasyl Lomachenko in London. The winner of this fight may very well get a shot at current WBC World Lightweight champion Devin Haney around May or June of this year. Garcia is currently favored by Mybookie.ag at -410 and the oddsmakers believe that the under/over on this fight is at nine and a half rounds. T.J. and Marquis also go over the undercard on this fight that includes: the Alvarado Brothers both in action in separate world title eliminator bouts themselves before Garcia-Campbell.
