In today's podcast I share with you 5 areas that men really need to focus on to make the next part of their life better. These 5 pillars are foundational to your success as an individual, as a man and as a father. I drop some real truth bombs here!
This interview was originally recorded as a bonus call for Lenerd's students, on his upcoming online course : 21 DAYS ORGASMIC MASTERY that starts on 15 June. But the conversation is so inspiring that had to be absolutely included in this Podcast series ...definitely much Erotic Wisdom is to be found here ! Lenerd Louw interviews Mrslove on the subject of Semen Retention for men. Injaculation - as she likes to call it - is a fundamental practice for any tantrik male seekers, because it brings back sexual attention towards the subject instead of being exclusively focused onto the object. This is particularly important for men that tend to be stimulated visually by what is in front of them, and are not so well versed about their inner realms while maintaining heightened states of arousal . Of course this is another tantrik practice that uses sexual engagement to then expand into all aspects of your life. Just think about it ....if you don't ejaculate, your sexual encounter with your lover will not have an explicit end ...therefore your love making will become ENDLESS. And when you stop chasing, you might just join into the Cosmic Endless Orgasm that is already happening . And - if you are lucky , find yourself. WATCH THE INTERVIEW ON YOU TUBE HERE more about Lenerd here : https://lenerdlouw.com/ www.eroticwisdom.org/ thelaboratoryoflove.com/ Follow the Tantra School of Erotic Wisdom on FB 21 days Oragsmic Mastery Course for men START 15 JUNE - FOLLOW THIS LINK FOR 100$ DISCOUNT- VALID TILL 12 MAY!

Muslim women in Singapore who work in frontline roles in the public sector are generally banned from wearing a headscarf (tudung, or hijab). This has long been a source of unhappiness for Muslim women, who are forced to choose between their faith and their work. Educator and active citizen Nur Friday talks to PJ Thum and Sean Francis Han (Wake Up Singapore) about the issue from the perspective of a tudung-wearing Singaporean. She talks about the importance of the headscarf to her faith, the lack of representation for Muslim women, the problems with PAP government policy making, the transformation of the issue from a Muslim issue to a national issue, and addresses misconceptions about the headscarf and Islam. This episode is a collaboration with Wake Up, Singapore. You can find out more about them online on their website, Facebook and Instagram. For more information on the issues highlighted in the podcast, please visit the original link on the New Naratif website here.

Feeling masculine or manly is part of a majority of men’s identities in 2018: When asked how masculine or “manly” they generally feel, 83 percent of men said they felt “very” or “somewhat” masculine. But many fewer, 53 percent, said it was very or somewhat important that others see them that way. A majority of men, 64 percent, said their father or a father figure was a source of their ideas about what it means to be a good man. Toxic masculinity vs Masculinity: Masculinity- Positively characterized as qualities that are; strong, community building, utilitarian, practical. It also suggests that men who act too emotional or maybe aren’t violent enough or don’t do all of the things that “real men” do, can get their “man card” taken away. Pre-corona, I watched an anime called "Carole & Tuesday" , it was good in terms of animation, great when it comes to the music, but lack or even disgusting when talking about the LGBTQ+ representation provided in the shows' 24 episodes. Naudia is a courageous and inspiring woman who seeks to encourage and empower others towards a more grateful life, she also empowers female trauma survivors by teaching them how to create abundance through gratitude.I referred to her unique perspective in the title, but there’s so much more about Naudia and her gratitude practice that we can learn from, I know I did. Resources:https://www.instagram.com/rawsoulgratitude/https://rawsoulart.comhttp://georgianbenta.com/abundanceFrom the interview:"Finally understanding the depth of the Japanese gratitude because take for example the work environment there is, at the end of the day they say: THANK YOU FOR YOUR HARD WORK. Somebody will see you on the street coming home from work and they say thank you for your hard work, somebody will see you going to work and they say thank you for your hard work because there's a sense of community in that whatever you go out to do, transcends to me in some way shape or form. If you're a teacher, you're helping the Japanese kids become more globally aware and become more fluent in a language that they can use in their future. If you go and you work on a construction site, you're building infrastructure in our community and you're helping us become more modern there's a state of constant gratitude because everybody plays a role of significance in each other's life."

For Women's Month of March, Out Da Box Talks brings you a one of kind episode featuring some special ladies to hosts Cril and A-Level regarding their perspective on Hip Hop, its past, present and future. Sister's Fabulous Lez, Taliagem and Sister Bea talk insightfully with hosts "Cril and A-Level" about everything from their 1st experience with hip hop to their favorite Female Emcees, and the state of Women in Hip Hop today. The ladies also discuss the subject of Sex Appeal in Hip Hop, whether or not there's a limit, and how much is too much. They also respond to the question around the male's portrayal of women in hip hop and which artist is representing in an inspirational way. This was indeed a special interview. We chose to have these ladies give their perspective because we wanted to get their take on Hip Hop because we believe that women are just as valuable to the culture as men. Hopefully this inspires our listeners both male and female to further consider and open their minds to the value and perspective of women in Hip Hop! #HappyWomensHistoryMonth

Sometimes, when something or someone is markedly different from what we’re used to, our minds automatically jump to conclusions based on something or someone we've previously encountered… or maybe just read about, or just seen on the news or even in a movie … Science explains that automatic response, which we all have - to one degree or another, as the brain’s attempt to maintain a sense of order within the high volume of sensory input all of us encounter every day ~ all day. To put it mildly, it’s the brain’s attempt to manage the overload that is life in the 21st century. The trouble with that automatic response, if we’re not careful, is that we get loose and sloppy with how we judge people, and therefore how we respond to them… sometimes negatively, sometimes disrespectfully, sometimes fearfully, sometimes hurtfully. When I met Sarah Ansari and learned a little of her story, a little about her values, I couldn’t NOT invite her to join me in conversation on this, the Big Picture Social Emotional LIfeskills Podcast, and I made an assumption that you too, good listener, might have some curiosity about Muslim women’s identity and how they fit into an America that seems to be leaning more strongly towards division than towards mutual respect regarding differences … which as educators, I hope you agree, is an area of students’ LIFESKILLS development that is our responsibility to constructively nurture. I hope and trust that you will appreciate Sarah’s perspective, her grace, her intelligence, and the dignity of her heart as expressed through her answers to my questions and concerns… with an apology in advance for the abrupt start to this interview, due to some pesky techno glitches. ~~~ The BIG PICTURE SOCIAL EMOTIONAL LIFESKILLS PODCAST is a non-commercial podcast, but I encourage you to visit Sarah’s website, because I feel that her company’s mission deserves to be acknowledged and shared. Her company’s website is www.artizara.com: The mission at artizara is: "We truly believe that people are alike in many more ways than they are different. The Artizara aesthetic is all about crossing geographic divides to create beautiful products that not only celebrate the deep richness of Islamic artistic heritage but also find common ground among people of all backgrounds. We hope to help build a world where all people hold their heads high and celebrate their identity." --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/nini-white/message

Announcement: Blessed Are the Binary Breakers is going on a hiatus until October! This is the last episode of season 1 of this podcast. The next episode will come up at the end of October. In the meantime, I invite trans and/or nonbinary people from any faith background to send me their stories of how they have been a gift to their faith communities for a special episode of this show. Send those stories in audio or text format to queerlychristian36@gmail.com by December 1. In this episode, I do not interview anyone but rather discuss Joy Ladin's introduction to her 2019 text The Soul of the Stranger: Reading God and Torah from a Transgender Perspective. In this text, Ladin compares her attempt to flee from her womanhood to Jonah's attempt to flee from his identity as a prophet. Like Jonah, trans people's decision to live into who they are enriches their communities, just as Jonah's eventual acceptance of his call helps Nineveh.

While I’ve shared some pieces of what I experienced throughout the weekend and will continue to do so in the coming weeks, I thought it’d be great to hear from the other side. Today we’re going to hear my wife’s perspective on the weekend, her role in the event, and how I was able to throw yet another loop into our relationship. We also tackle limiting beliefs surrounding self-improvement, both in my own life and in the lives of others. For all the women that are ready to transform their life, be sure to listen and shoot me an email to ryan@lifeoptimizationgroup.com that simply says “I’m In." Are you looking to connect further with a group of like-mind people? Join myself and others in the Life Optimization Group on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/groups/lifeoptimizationgroup/. I will be dropping daily nuggets to help you live an optimized life. Questions, comments, requests? Feel free to contact me at ryan@lifeoptimizationgroup.com. I’d love to hear from you.

What's it like to be a woman working in the cannabis industry? This week Hayley spends the entire episode talking to Victoria Arana, who she first met when researching a story for VICE. Arana is an Echo Park native who got a job at a dispensary when she was 18. Since then, she's seen all sorts of mistreatment - from crazy amounts of unpaid overtime, to confiscated tips and sexual harassment. At 22, she is now a seasoned budtender with plans to uproot to UC Davis, study agriculture, and start her own (non-weed) farm. Nicole Kaufman, licensed counselor joined me for our last women's history month show discussing relationships from a woman's perspective. We began by touching on the recent scandals in the news: "Stormy Daniels," Karen McDougal & Summer Zervos. We did not discuss the details of these incidents but rather how these factors are changing us. We compared current events to the Monica Lewinsky scandal. Describing the new monogamy, Nicole brought research data reflecting current data on cheating and the author Ester Perel. She discussed her books: "Mating in Captivity" & "The State of Affairs." Ms. Perel is an innovative writing, describing how to keep relationships successful with monogamy and what / how to survive affairs through counseling. We discussed how women may or may not experience vulnerability in relationships. Nicole presented that women are no longer the "weaker sex." I presented that I feel that women are still categorized and often vulnerable and that the invisible judgments and stereotypes must continue to be questioned and talked about to stimulate change to solidify in the millennial generation.
I am venturing outside of my comfort zone to tell the story of a day in the life of a disabled woman. The disabled woman happens to be me, as I'm sure I couldn't convince anyone else to do the talking for me. My New Year's resolution this year is to become a glass half-full person. Not an easy task, as I am accustomed to using my sarcastic dry wit to get me through more than one difficult day. But if I push myself out of my cocoon and share my thoughts about what it feels like to be disabled, it may help someone with fears about what could happen to them.

Our western culture encourages us to embrace and encourage same sex attraction as normal, appropriate and just as “right” as any other sexual relationship. But is it? In this transparent interview Sharon Betters talks with Donna and her counselor, Ellen Dykas about Donna’s struggles with same sex attraction. Donna transparently shares that prior to marriage she had some inappropriate relationships with other women that were sexual in nature. In college her relationship with the athletic director led her to other inappropriate friendships but ultimately ended in extreme guilt and feeling trapped. She says that as a married woman, she found herself having “wrong feelings” for a couple of women. Donna’s story is universal and her transparent story will help college students and any woman with similar struggles. Like all of our Help and Hope resources, this interview goes beyond a discussion of the life crises and digs deep into how each of us can grow in our own walk of faith as we process and face the challenges of living by grace in our messy world.
Finally in our fifth episode the voice of those women who have fallen under the spell of the Western Sydney Wanderers gets appropriate attention, and teacher Wendy Brown gives more insight into how atypical a WSW can be. Keep an ear out for her anecdote involving a current player's family, and of course she tackles the usual segments such as the 'CEO for a day', 'The Speedy Seven' and the Wanderers Trivia Challenge. Wendy also shares her thoughts on Andrew Redmayne and both she and Andrew talk about the amazing game against Melbourne City from last Friday night. Please feel free to contact 'One on Wanderers' with your feedback, thoughts, questions or ideas via our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/OneOnWanderers) or Twitter (@OneOnWanderers). Social Anxiety Solutions - your journey to social confidence!
How boring would it be if you’re always perfect? The words of Olivia Pino, a 33 year old woman who's enjoying a satisfying social life in various countries in the world. She's a friend and a great example of what "effortless social confidence" feel like, looks like, and is. She shares a super simple and effective way to start a social life from scratch. She in between the lines shares the difference that makes the difference between just meeting people or meeting people and becoming friends, and says things like: "I now know myself more. And it doesn’t really matter what they think of me as long as I’m true to myself and that I’m speaking my truth. Why would I be worried about what they think if I’m OK with myself?" "What I can control is my emotions, why would I try to control someone else’s emotions? It’s not my job…" "I just introduce myself and see what comes." "You need to sift through the shit to get to the good. It’s about having everything. You can’t see that really in the media. All you see is the perfect stuff. Having an awareness that people have flaws really helps." Urban winery doesn’t exactly bring to mind the idyllic country side complete with endless hillsides of sun drenched grape vines. But there is something special happening within the enclaves of our cities. People are working hard to bring you delicious fermented fruits with all the skill of an estate winery, sans the pretensions. Despite women graduating with almost half of the enology degrees at UC Davis and purchasing near three quarters of the wine in the United States, they only make up 10% of the actual winemakers. We sat down with of who is putting out some award winning wines from an old airplane hanger in Alameda, California. We explored what it’s like to be a woman in a field dominated by men, why urban wine-making is so awesome, and learned all about the event taking place this weekend in Oakland. Join us to get a little local wine flavor!

Amina Wadud has been a Professor of Islamic Studies at Virginia Commonwealth University since 1992 and is currently Visiting Scholar of Islamic Studies at the Starr King School for Ministry. She is a world-renowned scholar of Qur’anic interpretation and gender, a believing Muslim woman, of African descent, and mother of five children. It is this confluence of identities that has driven Prof. Wadud to undertake what has been termed the “gender jihad,” the struggle for justice for women within global Islamic communities. The author of countless articles, lectures, workshop presentations and media interviews, Wadud is internationally recognized for her pathbreaking books Qur’an and Woman, an incisive application of classical disciplines and prerequisites of Islamic interpretation towards a gender inclusive reading, and Inside the Gender Jihad, in which she reflects on the dual roles of scholarship and activism in pursuit of reform in Islamic thought and practice. In 2005, she was at the center of a global media storm after leading prayers in front of a mixed-gender congregation in New York City, a role some contend belongs exclusively to Muslim men. Her act resulted in a global and public debate among Muslims and non-Muslims about women’s roles in Islam. Selected Bibliography: Introduction to Islam: A Reader.
