Legendary music artists The Supremes and Harry Belafonte passed through there. It was a place of prestige and pride for Philadelphia's Black population. Such was the early legacy of the Nile Swim Club, which, in the late 1950s, opened in response to racial segregation in the borough of Yeadon. But with the passing of time, the club's allure began to change. Declines in enrollment became so sharp that Nile was ultimately forced to declare bankruptcy. In recent years, benefactors have emerged to save the club, and reset its role in the community it serves. Yeadon Smith is the founder of “My First Million in Multifamily”. Yeadon discerned that he was not called to the pastorate, and  launched a career in real estate. Yeadon was one of the top producing real estate agents in his market while he was active in the residential transaction side of real estate. In this episode, Larry Hanger interviews Yeadon Smith  about his personal life, including his marriage and four children. They discuss the question of what leads to having four kids and the guest attributes it to having a hot wife. They also delve into the guest's unique childhood and the different experiences he had compared to others in their generation. This episode reveals a shift in parenting style over time. They discuss their upbringing and how their parents' authoritarian and disciplinarian approach influenced their own initial parenting beliefs. They also acknowledge that this style was prevalent in the 80s and 90s, reflecting the cultural norms of that era. However, as they grew older and became parents themselves, they realized that this approach was not effective or conducive to healthy parent-child relationships. They express frustration with the idea of demanding obedience from their children without allowing them to express themselves or be kids. I had quite a few people push back on our interviews with loves one who think their loves ones were killed by hospital protocols. Many were angry, some felt defensive of healthcare providers. I get both views. This story, though, is the next wave of Covid coverage if we ever want justice. Dr. Michael Yeadon, former Pfizer VP, warned the world about the mRNA injections. Based upon their design, Yeadon said they would not stop transmission or injection, they would cause Antigen Dependent Enhancement, which would make people who got injected more likely to get sick again, Yeadon warned about still-births and fertility issues and was among the first to state the spike proteins absolutely would not stay at the injection site. Now, Dr. Yeadon, who did his PhD thesis on morphine, says hospitals are killing people with overdoses of sedative and pain killers. And, if that sounds familiar, it should. We have interviewed people who lost loved ones in exactly that way. It's not just hospital protocols.
