¿Te atreves a escuchar? —

Jason Kosec, the new Chairman of Minera Alamos (TSX.V:MAI) (OTCQX:MAIFF), joins me to unpack the key takeaways from news announced on July 7th about their acquisition of Calibre USA Holdings Ltd from Equinox Gold Corp. for total consideration of US$115 million, subject to adjustment. Calibre USA holds a 100% economic interest in the producing Pan Gold Mine, development-stage Gold Rock Project, and exploration-stage Illipah Project in Nevada, USA. We start off discussing how this is a truly transformational transaction for the Company, in that it brings in the producing Pan Gold Mine, doing about 35,000-40,000 ounces of gold production annually at the heap leach operations. This mine is generating strong cash flows given the current record gold price environment, and Jason outlines how these revenues can be used to organically grow and develop the other pipeline of low-capital intensity, quick-build, high-return, gold development projects like the past-producing Copperstone Mine in Arizona, the Cerro De Oro Project in Zacatecas, Mexico, the Gold Rock Project in Nevada, and the Fortuna Project in Mexico. Jason also reiterates that this is not the company loosing interest or pivoting away from Mexico, but making an acquisition that brings in revenues and changes the valuation metrics while they await the permits in Mexico that the team still believes they will receive from the new administration. This transaction immediately strengthens their production profile, beyond just the residual leaching at the Santa operations. More importantly, bringing in a larger production profile should improve their valuation multiple with a likely rerating over time that is more in alignment with junior producing peers. Operating a solid production asset in Nevada will also lower their future cost of capital for advancing their other development assets, without as much equity dilution moving forward. There is also the benefit of minimizing future risk by diversifying their assets into one of the strongest jurisdictions there is in Nevada. We also discuss how the recent financing has attracted a much stronger institutional investor base that wants to see the pathway to multiple mines in multiple jurisdictions. We go on to discuss the exploration upside both around the Pan Mine and at the Gold Rock Project, not to mention across their whole portfolio of projects. Now there will larger incoming revenues to truly intensify exploration efforts at multiple projects. One can also see the pathway to future production growth and into a mid-tier producer with the Copperstone Mine slated to produce roughly 40,000 ounces of gold per year, and with both Cerro De Oro and Gold Rock each estimated to produce ~60,000 ounces of gold per year. After those 3 mines have ramped up to commercial production, alongside of the Pan Mine, then there is also the development-stage Fortuna Mine in Mexico that will move into position as mine number 5. If you have any follow-up questions for Jason regarding Minera Alamos, then please email them into me at Shad@kereport.com. In full disclosure, Shad is a shareholder of Minera Alamos at the time of this recording. Click here to follow the latest news from Minera Alamos

BRANIGAN Cultural Center Tuesday - Saturday 501 North Main Street Las Cruces NM Exhibit Details: An exhibit titled “ALIENTO a TEQUILA - THE SPIRIT OF TEQUILA” at the Branigan Cultural Center in downtown Las Cruces celebrates the traditions, culture and landscape of tequila, the iconic spirit of Mexico.. The exhibit features Joel Salcido's photography showcasing blue agave fields, the people involved in tequila production, and key cultural aspects. The exhibit ends on Friday, August 9. Tequila and Agave: Tequila can only be made in Jalisco, Mexico. Blue agave is essential for tequila production. Bat Conservation Message: The exhibit highlights the critical relationship between native bats and the blue agave plant. Three bat pollinators are in danger: the Mexican long-nosed bat, lesser long-nosed bat (both endangered), and the Mexican long-tongued bat (a “species of concern”). Bats require the sweet nectar from flowering agave to survive and feed their young, especially pregnant bats. Bat Facts: These bats migrate over 700 miles. They birth a single pup. Bats feed on agave nectar at night while it blooms, pollinating the plant by transferring pollen, which leads to new agave plants. Main Threat: Blue agave is now often harvested before it is allowed to flower, depriving bats of food and the opportunity to pollinate the plant, threatening both the bats' survival and the plant's reproduction. Call to Action: The exhibit draws attention to “BAT FRIENDLY TEQUILA” as a way to support ecosystem health. It encourages awareness of the importance of bat pollinators in tequila production and maintaining biodiversity. Imagine having someone looking after YOU as a business owner. Business owners often focus on cash flow, payroll, and acquiring new cash flow. Neglecting to plan for life-changing events like tragic accidents or temporary disabilities hinders continuity in your business. Andy Fankhauser offers a process to help business owners, their partners, and families make smooth transitions if the owner is incapacitated or worse. After speaking with Andy, I realized I never considered a backup plan for my French-themed inn, in case I couldn't manage it for a few months. I mentioned having $300,000 in life insurance to cover expenses for the inheritor while they sold the property—this only prepares for unexpected death. Andy pointed out that without a method for someone to authorize payroll or pay bills through the business bank, outstanding debts and expenses won't be paid. Life insurance alone is not enough. Andy suggests taking steps with your bank to ensure someone can continue business operations if you're unable to sign those checks or make withdrawals.. He guides you through a preplanning process for both temporary setbacks and death. Andy has over ten years of banking experience and saw firsthand the impact of COVID on business owners. A recurring issue: no plan for alternate people to access business funds if the owner is incapacitated or has passed away. Banks CAN require probate to access funds. Probate of business accounts can take months to years, preventing crirical payments. This scenario can be avoided with proper planning—Andy specializes in this area. He looks after YOU as a business owner and helps you avoid catastrophes. Welcome to the Hidden History of Texas I'm Hank Wilson, and I'm talking about the presidios (or forts) the Spanish established alongside the missions. I'll also talk about how the French became involved with Texas and their influence on the Spanish expansion of both missions and presidios. Before I go further, please if you don't mind subscribing to the podcast, it'd be greatly appreciated. Once the Spanish decided to expand their territory northward from its base in central Mexico, they knew that in order to be successful, they needed to send more than just missionaries, and so they created the missions. They also understood that they needed to send soldiers to protect the missions and they needed civilians to build towns. The combination of presidio, the mission, and the civil settlement became the major foundation the Spanish used for colonization. Martín Enríquez, who was the fourth viceroy of New Spain (1568–80), is generally given credit with being the first to build presidios in the Southwest. He ordered the construction along the main road from Mexico City northward to Zacatecas of casas fuertes (which is translated to "fortified houses"). Over time the name was changed to presidio (from Latin praesidium, "garrisoned place"). The pattern of the early presidios was learned from the Moors and by the early eighteenth century, when Spaniards settled Texas, the patterns had not changed much.

Creativity and Imagination: Man's ability to Create something uplifts the human spirit. Imagination fuels creativity. Imagination leads to the thoughts that become ideas — and thoughts become things. Inspiration from Nature: As Monarch butterflies need the milkweed plant, Evana Henri needs Wild Aspen from Colorado forests to make her Wild Aspen Exfoliators.. Wild Aspen is sustainably and responsibly sourced from Colorado forests. Harvesting is part of a forestry plan to prevent wildfires and revitalize forests. Sourcing Practices (from their website): Partner with local, reputable suppliers. Suppliers are government-approved and follow U.S. Forestry guidelines. These efforts support both the environment and forest health. The Origin of the Idea: Most sponges are synthetic, made from crude oil (non-renewable). Contain toxic chemicals and microplastics. Pollute water, soil, and the broader environment. Evana and her husband have scientific backgrounds. Motivated by love for the planet. Focused on solving the "Dirty Sponge Problem": About the Business: Sustainable sourcing of natural materials. Reducing global plastic pollution. FINLAND.. Land of the Midnight Sun during Summer..I met someone recently who loves FINLAND, as a world traveler and the owner Regal Luxury Travel . Raymond Giles started this business as a “ hobby”. However, since he has been all over the world and knows so many places that most don't visit…he shares his insights on his website:Luxury Vacations Await You | Regal Luxury Travel w/ Raymond, LLC https://regalluxurytravelwraymond.com/ Finland is 75% wilderness, with over 187K of lakes—perfect for nature lovers. • Embraces the philosophy of “Every Man's Right”—people can freely roam the land and enjoy nature.https://youtube.com/shorts/x56nmwJDqVA?si=Gbe8XzK1 • Finland is repeatedly ranked the most content country in the world, with a culture that is punctual, content, and respectful of time and others • Most coffee-consumed per capita in the world. Coffee is called Kahvi. • Blueberry juice (from wild berries in local forests) is a staple—healthy and real, unlike our sugary juices in America. If you're seeking sunlight, the sun barely sets in the summers, whereas winters are your best bet at catching a glimpse of the northern lights dancing in the skies. In autumn, Finland is bathed in shades of crimson and gold, and the springtime is temperate and green. The best time to visit Finland depends on what excites you the most: 24/7 daylight, or the neon green aurora borealis against the night skies. Kundalini Yoga FEEL YOUR ABUNDANCE. KID FRIENDLY YOGA! Full Text of ReadingsWednesday of the Fifth Week of Easter Lectionary: 287 The Saint of the day is Saint Cristbal Magallanes and CompanionsSaint Cristóbal Magallanes and Companions' Story Like Blessed Miguel Agustín Pro, SJ, Cristóbal and his 24 companion martyrs lived under a very anti-Catholic government in Mexico, one determined to weaken the Catholic faith of its people. Churches, schools, and seminaries were closed; foreign clergy were expelled. Cristóbal established a clandestine seminary at Totatiche, Jalisco. He and the other priests were forced to minister secretly to Catholics during the presidency of Plutarco Calles (1924-28). All of these martyrs except three, were diocesan priests. David, Manuel and Salvador were laymen who died with their parish priest, Luis Batis. They all belonged to the Cristero movement, pledging their allegiance to Christ and to the Church that he established, to spread the Good News in society—even if Mexico's leaders had made it a crime to receive baptism or celebrate the Mass. These martyrs did not die as a single group but over 22 years time in eight Mexican states, with Jalisco and Zacatecas having the largest number. They were beatified in 1992 and canonized eight years later. Reflection Every martyr realizes how to avoid execution, but refuses to pay the high price of doing so. A clear conscience was more valuable than a long life. We may be tempted to compromise our faith while telling ourselves that we are simply being realistic, dealing with situations as we find them. Is survival really the ultimate value? Do our concrete, daily choices reflect our deepest values, the ones that allow us to “tick” the way we do? Anyone can imagine situations in which being a follower of Jesus is easier than the present situation. Saints remind us that our daily choices, especially in adverse circumstances, form the pattern of our lives. Saint of the Day, Copyright Franciscan Media
