Much like the title suggests, Work In Podcast is an ever-evolving creature, created by Megan and Austin, two friends that love talking about movies, entertainment and generally bantering. Each week Megan and Austin talk about new movie trailers, about what they have been consuming and making, review a movie (whether it be something one of them loves and the other hasn't seen, a new movie or just something unusual) and preview the next week. This is the first podcast where listeners get an immediate review of a movie! Austin and Megan pause halfway through the podcast to go to the movies to watch Snake Eyes: G. I. Joe Origins before coming back and reviewing it and they have a lot to say. Before they go and watch it though, they discuss somethings happening in their lives (ie. This week, Megan and Austin are just tired. Moving parents in is exhausting. But, this podcast is louder and more content filled than ever. Many trailers are watched, much laughter is had with bad Irish accents and a new segment is formed, music videos, because why not? The Gift is reviewed.
This week Megan comes in hot with pap smear, car and dog problems. Megan mistakes 'Count Dooku' for 'Count Dookie'. Laughter ensues. Megan and Austin watched way too many things this week but don't JUDGE THEM. They review Drive, a favorite of Austin's because at one point he thought he was an edgelord film snob. Well, he is that, just maybe less so now.
This week Megan and Austin acknowledge that they missed a week but they simply don't care. Megan got the most adorable shiba inu and has been learning the difficulties of being a new parent. Austin watched too many things in two interim two weeks, so much so that it is becoming a problem (Editor's Note: I don't believe it's a problem, we are in a bloody pandemic). Austin is obsessed with well known medical drama, The West Wing. They review The Trial of the Chicago 7 and preview next week's movie.
