Which means that, at least hypothetically, any deviations from the movie's script by him could constitute strike-breaking under the rules of the Guild. If he gets reported, he could hypothetically try to argue that he's only fulfilling his roles on the film as an actor or producer—although multi-hyphenate writer-producers have been specifically asked not to do anything even remotely writer-ly on their projects right now—but that “written by” credit is going to be a tricky obstacle to get around.   Disney+   Loki Season 2: Disney+ Confirms Major Change In MCU Release Strategy https://thedirect.com/article/loki-season-2-disney-plus-mcu-release-strategy During Disney's 2023 Upfront event, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige revealed Loki Season 2 will premiere on October 6, which curiously signals a major departure from the MCU's previous Disney+ release strategy.   Strangely enough, this release date has the Tom Hiddleston-led season premiering its first episode on a Friday, despite Disney+ traditionally debuting new episodes of its Marvel, Star Wars, and other original series on Wednesdays.   Loki Season 2's premiere date of Friday, October 6, falls on the Columbus Day holiday weekend, indicating the shift was made to capitalize on the masses being off work and at home watching TV.   Marvel Studios announced that its next show after Loki Season 2, Echo, will debut its entire six-episode season in historic fashion on Wednesday, November 29, suggesting a one-off shift to a Friday premiere.   At a rate of one episode per week, Loki ought to conclude its six-episode run with an epic finale on November 8, assuming it hops back to Wednesdays. It documents a filmmaker's childhood friend & neighbour's arranged marriage to a bride from Pakistan. It is based on Jemima's own mixed marriage (she was formerly married to Pakistani politician and former cricket captain, Imran Ahmed Khan Niazi, who later served as the 22nd Prime Minister of Pakistan). Writer/director Dean Craig's film career took off in 2007 when he wrote the hit UK comedy, Death at a Funeral, starring Matthew Macfadyen, Keeley Hawes and Peter Dinklage, and directed by Frank Oz. The film won several audience awards for Best Film, and was remade in the US starring Chris Rock, Zoe Saldana, Martin Lawrence, and Tracy Morgan.In 2020, Craig turned his attention to directing as well as writing, with his debut film Love, Wedding, Repeat. Craig went on to write and directed The Honeymoon, with Maria Bakalova and Asim Chaudhry, and The Estate, starring Toni Collette, Anna Faris, Kathleen Turner and David Duchovny.Craig's other writing producing credits include the feature films Caffeine, A Few Best Men as well as creating the comedy series, Off the Hook with Jonathan Bailey, and Hit the Road, starring Jason Alexander. "So, you have my rhythm on the page, and then David Duchovny brings his rhythm and his attributes. And then you get this sort of hopefully wonderful collaboration between writer and director and actor. The Estate is the film that I directed most recently, and that's with Toni Colette, Anna Faris, David Duchovny, Kathleen Turner, Rosemarie DeWitt, Ron Livingston, Keyla Monterroso Mejia. Some really wonderful actors and I think a very fun ensemble that we were able to do there. I had a very strange year where I got to do The Honeymoon and The Estate pretty much back to back with no break in between, which was challenging, but also amazing to be one minute in Venice with these fantastic actors. Really, I can't tell you how much I loved working with Maria and Pico and Asim and Lucas. They were all totally different people and personalities, but all fantastic in their own way. And then I jumped onto the set and had those fantastic actors to work with. On April 13, 1919, a column of British troops marched into the , a public garden in Amritsar, a city in Punjab, where more than 15,000 Indians had gathered for a peaceful protest against the increasingly restrictive policies of the British government, and in particular the deportation of two followers of Gandhi. At the orders of Brig. Gen. Reginald Dyer, the soldiers began firing into the crowd without warning. When screaming men, women and children rushed toward the exits, Dyer ordered his troops to aim at them. Many who were attempting to climb over the high perimeter wall were gunned down, their bloodied bodies falling in heaps. The firing went on for 10 minutes, killing an estimated 500 to 600 people and wounding many more. While Dyer was the one to order the killings, another man was also responsible for the massacre: Michael O’Dwyer, the lieutenant governor of Punjab, who justified the carnage and defended Dyer’s actions. Anita Anand’s “The Patient Assassin” is the story of Udham Singh, an Indian who sought to avenge the murders of his fellow countrymen by shooting O’Dwyer to death in London in March 1940. In recounting the lives of these three main characters — Singh, O’Dwyer and Dyer — Anand, a British-Indian biographer and broadcast journalist, provides a revealing look at the brutality and oppression of British rule, and how it seeded the desire for retribution in the hearts of so many Indians.  After training as a journalist, British born and raised Anand became European Head of News and Current Affairs for , and one of the youngest TV news editors in Britain at the age of 25.She presented the talk show The Big Debate and was political correspondent for Zee TV presenting the Raj Britannia series – 31 documentaries chronicling the political aspirations of the Asian community in the most marginal constituencies in 1997.  After Zee, Anand joined the BBC in various roles then in June 2012, she took over presenting BBC Radio 4's  the Saturday afternoon current affairs phone-in programme between 2:00 and 2:30 pm UK time from   Interestingly, Anand has also appeared in and won the 2017/2018 UK Celebrity Master Mind (4/10) beating singer Rachel Stevens, actor Asim Chaudhry and comedian Andy Zaltzman. She also appeared on the 2018/2019 Christmas  representing  as captain alongside , , and
