Could the dinosaurs ever come back? The idea that people could bring dinosaurs back someday is both exciting and scary. But it's no joke. Your childhood dream of a real-life Jurassic Park could actually come true in 30 years! And, yes, scientists were initially inspired by the famous movie. They wanted to find a mosquito stuck in amber and extract dinosaur DNA from it. But real-world scientists came across a big problem: the oldest DNA sample they were able to get was only 1 million years old. “Only” because all the dinosaurs went extinct some 65 million years ago! So instead of looking for dinosaur DNA hanging out in the belly of an ancient mosquito, they decided to take DNA from the closest descendants of these reptilian giants. The Chat GPT Experiment - Simplifying ChatGPT For Curious Beginners
Episode Summary In this solo episode, host Cary Weston shares his vision for the future of "conversational technology"—a shift from static, click-based interfaces to dynamic, two-way conversations with the tools we use every day. From Netflix to online shopping to travel planning, Cary walks through everyday frustrations and shows how tools like ChatGPT offer the perfect practice ground for what's coming next. The episode is an eye-opener for anyone feeling overwhelmed or left behind by AI and makes a compelling case that you're not behind—you're right on time. 3 Key Takeaways The future is conversational: Apps will soon start engaging in two-way conversations—asking about your mood, preferences, or concerns before offering recommendations. Think Netflix that checks in before suggesting a movie. ChatGPT is your practice space: Talking to ChatGPT is great training for this future. Treat it like your “amazing intern”—not a tech tool. The more you practice, the better you'll be at using these future tools. This isn't a tech thing—it's a human thing: Just like websites moved from being an IT task to a marketing must-have, AI belongs to all of us. Whether you're shopping, planning, or writing, tools like ChatGPT help you think clearer and decide better. About Cary Weston Cary Weston is the host of The ChatGPT Experiment podcast and a seasoned marketing agency owner. Known for his approachable teaching style, Cary helps individuals and businesses get comfortable using ChatGPT through personalized training and workshops. He's all about making AI less intimidating and more accessible, no matter your background or tech level. Cary offers customized one-on-one ChatGPT training in 60 minute sessions. Ted Cruz compares FCC Chair Carr to Mafia boss in Jimmy Kimmel warningsRepublican Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas sharply criticized Federal Communications Commission Chairman Brendan Carr for his comments related to late-night host Jimmy Kimmel shortly before ABC pulled his show off the air.Cruz said he took issue with Carr threatening to cancel ABC's broadcast license over Kimmel's remarks about the death of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.“He says, ‘We can do this the easy way, or we can do this the hard way,'” the senator said of Carr in the latest episode of his podcast, “Verdict with Ted Cruz,” which aired Friday morning.“And I gotta say, that's right out of ‘Goodfellas,'” Cruz said, referring to the classic mob film.“That's right out of a mafioso coming into a bar going, ‘Nice bar you have here, it'd be a shame if something happened to it,'” he said.“Look, I like Brendan Carr. He's a good guy, he's the chairman of the FCC. I work closely with him, but what he said there is dangerous as hell,” Cruz said at another point in the episode.Cruz's comments put him at odds with President Donald Trump, who applauded Kimmel's suspension and later called Carr “outstanding.”Cruz said he's no fan of Kimmel's and that he is “thrilled that he was fired” over his comments about Kirk.“But let me tell you, if the government gets in the business of saying, ‘We don't like what you the media have said, we're going to ban you from the airwaves if you don't say what we like,' that will end up bad for conservatives,” Cruz said.Kimmel, who has been suspended but not fired, said in his opening monologue Monday night that “the MAGA gang” is “desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it.”On Wednesday, Carr slammed Kimmel at length during an appearance on right-wing commentator Benny Johnson's podcast.ABC has “a license granted by us at the FCC, and that comes with it an obligation to operate in the public interest,” Carr said.“But frankly, when you see stuff like this, I mean, look, we can do this the easy way or the hard way,” he said. “These companies can find ways to change conduct, to take action, frankly, on Kimmel, or you know, there's going to be additional work for the FCC ahead.”Hours later, ABC and Nexstar Media Group, which hosts ABC-affiliated local stations, pre-empted “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” indefinitely.Nexstar in August announced a planned $6.2 billion acquisition of Tegna — a merger that will require the FCC's approval.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

(EN) In this episode, Paul Zonneveld and Eduardo Tinoco return to Metadoxos! MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred raised eyebrows by mentioning geographic realignment as part of future expansion. Chuck Garfien and MLB Network Radio's Mike Ferrin dig into what that could mean for baseball — from the Cubs and White Sox sharing a division, to Yankees–Mets and Dodgers–Angels rivalries heating up. Chuck even unveils his own realignment plan, while Mike explains how it could boost rivalries, cut travel, and reshape the postseason.
Steven Soderbergh's second release of 2002, after FULL FRONTAL, was another very odd move: a remake of Andrei Tarkovsky's SOLARIS (well, more of a new adaptation of the Stanislaw Lem novel). Underappreciated at the time, Soderbergh's SOLARIS has grown in reputation as one of the great science fiction films of the 2000s - so we brought on a bonafide science fiction expert, Aaron Thorpe, to talk about it! Join us for a thoughtful and wide-ranging conversation about the purpose of science fiction, comprehending the vastness of space, grief, blackness in sci-fi, and OSMOSIS JONES. In this episode, we're diving deep into a question that many prophecy watchers and Bible believers are asking right now: Can these three major prophetic developments all unfold in the near future—or are they mutually exclusive? One, The Psalm 83 War — a potential coalition of enemies plotting against Israel. Two, “Peace and Safety” — a phrase the Apostle Paqul says will precede sudden destruction. And lastly the Dividing of the Land — a move that Scripture says brings God's fierce wrath. None of these concepts seem compatible with one another yet many prophecy teachers are saying they are.

America's housing market was built around the idea of family formation: get married, buy a home, raise kids. But what happens when people stop following that script? In this episode, we explore how delayed marriages, lower fertility rates, and changing preferences are reshaping housing demand. With fewer young households forming and more adults staying renters longer, the real estate industry may be facing a demographic slowdown that policy alone can't fix. Experts warn: the next big housing crisis might not be about affordability—but about birth rates. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
Bom play!Host:Marcelo CardosoProdução:Gabriela Szulcsewski@travs.estudio

Karen Bell, a clairvoyant and channeler from Ontario, Canada, discusses the concept of infinite abundance and the importance of connecting with one's true self. She emphasizes the need to shift from a survival mindset to a spiritual one, using practices like meditation and breathwork. Karen explains that chaos and fear serve as catalysts for spiritual growth, urging individuals to focus on their true identity and higher frequencies. She also highlights the significance of diet and lifestyle choices in maintaining a high vibrational state. The conversation concludes with a channeling session where Karen's guide, Sarai, discusses the importance of love and compassion in overcoming fear and anxiety. The discussion explores the concept of parallel lives, where souls have simultaneous incarnations, interconnected energetically and telepathically. Time is described as a sphere expanding outwards. The three E's—Experience, Expression, Evolution—are highlighted as the purpose of life. The conversation emphasizes the importance of recognizing one's true identity as a soul and choosing a path of higher consciousness. Practical advice includes taking small steps towards the unknown to overcome fear and embrace new experiences. The session concludes with encouragement to maintain a daily spiritual practice for personal growth and transformation.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/next-level-soul-podcast-with-alex-ferrari--4858435/support.

Hour 4: Ike, Spike and Fritz react to the news of former Sixers guard and NBA Rookie of the Year Michael Carter-Williams reportedly set to begin his boxing career next month.
