At this week's meeting of Shannon Municipal District, Fine Gael Councillor Tony Mulcahy requested an update on the progress of the park, which is being funded by councillor's GMA. In response, Suzie Clifford, Senior Executive Officer with Shannon MD says they're 'reviewing Clare County Council owned lands to identify a suitable Dog Park location' with a programme of works to be developed once a site is identified. Shannon Councillor Mulcahy, believes a suitable site will be found imminently.
