There's always a way to find a way. As the 2nd of 15 children who grew up in a family of sharecroppers under segregation, lost a promising career in the air force due to alcohol, and lived homeless in Colorado, Frank Sinclair understands struggle. Thankfully his story didn't end there. In fact, these painful experiences led Frank to both his success and his purpose. The experience of something is far more important than the result. This is why failing at insane, unrealistic goals is often more powerful than succeeding at challenging, realistic ones. When our tears break through, we often do as well. We all experience tough moments in life. The next mile will be harder than you think, and that's a good thing. Due to health issues and winter in frigid Michigan I hadn't exercised in a while, but recently walked my 1st mile of the 2022. It didn't go how I expected. It took me 46 minutes to complete compared to only 15 a year earlier. My chest pain was brutal and I had to pause multiple times. The good news? I made it, I learned, and I adapted. This is how we grow. Dan McPherson, Host of the extremely inspiring “Dreams Are Real” Podcast and Founder of Leaders Must Lead shares his incredible and at times very myronic stories which include how a friend saved Dan from suicide when he was 16 thanks to her persistency which then later in life he helped that same person during one of her darkest days; how when the company he worked for closed suddenly ended up being the greatest blessing and saved his wife's life; how his martial art's teacher mentioned he should listen to a podcast which ended up being a major catalyst unbeknownst to him at the time and is partly why he is now doing what he is doing now…the stories shared in this episode will pull at your heart strings and cause you to also hopefully belly laugh because when you hear how he broke his shoulder playing ping pong…that is correct playing ping pong!! You will laugh hopefully as hard as Alysha did hearing the many crazy injuries in the most random ways Dan has experienced.
