En 'El Balance', Federico Quevedo entrevista al diputado nacional y miembro del Comité Ejecutivo de Ciudadanos, Miguel Gutiérrez, quien ha pedido al presidente del Gobierno que impulse "un debate sobre el Estado de la Nación de una vez por todas". En esta cuarta temporada de Fila9 estamos decididos como podéis ver a apostar decididamente por los especiales y homenajes de grandes directores, actores, o de cualquier otra figura relevante vinculada al Séptimo Arte. La reducción de estrenos por la dichosa pandemia nos invita a abordar otros temas que creemos que pueden ser de interés, y en este caso con motivo del reciente estreno en Netflix de "Mank", protagonizada por el gran Gary Oldman, hemos pensado que era buen momento para hacer una retrospectiva de su director, David Fincher, en la mejor tradición filanovera. En esta ocasión recorreremos la filmografía del prestigioso director por el orden cronológico normal, y no inverso, como hicimos a modo de guiño, en nuestro último especial dedicado a Christopher Nolan. Por tanto, en esta primera parte no hablaremos todavía de "Mank", sino que empezaremos por "Seven" (sí, sí, no nos hemos olvidado de Alien 3, pero eso quedará para un futuro especial sobre nuestro xenomorfo preferido). Seguiremos por "The Game", la formidable "El Club de la Lucha" y así hasta llegar a "El curioso caso de Benjamin Button". No nos enrollamos más, es tiempo de hablar de uno de los grandes directores contemporáneos, un autor que revolucionó el concepto del thriller moderno, neo-noir o como queramos llamarlo y, que, a día de hoy, sigue levantando importante expectación tanto entre la crítica como entre el público con cada uno de sus estrenos. www.subterranea.eu

Brexit is inmiddels verworden tot een waar high drama dat iedereen in zijn greep houdt. Ergens is het winst dat er massaal over Europese politiek wordt gepraat, maar Armin Cuijvers laat er desondanks geen misverstand over bestaan: Brexit is een zooitje en Theresa May heeft als politicus al dusdanig gefaald dat ze eigenlijk zou moeten aftreden. Het probleem is alleen dat niemand haar positie wil innemen voordat ze zelf de hele gifbeker heeft leeggedronken, waardoor uitstel dreigt. Na eerdere verwoede pogingen hebben de Britten nu tot 31 oktober de tijd om alsnog een akkoord te sluiten. Er bestaat echter een grote kans dat ook daarna de deadline nog zal worden opgeschoven, zegt Cuijvers. Volgens hem is het scenario van een harde Brexit zo desastreus dat het altijd rationeler is om meer tijd te geven. Hoe moeten we nu verder? Wat zijn de verschillende scenario's? Wie moet de leiding nemen en waar halen we een grote nieuwe visie op Europa vandaan?
