Zdravo. In učiteljih in učencih.

Get the book here: https://amzn.to/4eDDvLb - First a legendary radio series, then a bestselling book, then a blockbuster movie, the immensely successful Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams needs no introduction. This paperback boxset collection includes all five parts of the trilogy, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, The Restaurant at the End of the Universe, Life, the Universe and Everything, So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish and Mostly Harmless.A phenomenon across all formats, this paperback omnibus contains the complete Hitchhiker's in five parts, charting the whole of Arthur Dent's odyssey through space and time. Share and enjoy. The Hitchhiker's Guide to the GalaxyOne Thursday lunchtime the Earth gets unexpectedly demolished to make way for a new hyperspace express route. For Arthur Dent, who has only just had his house demolished that morning, this seems already to be rather a lot to cope with. Sadly, however, the weekend has only just begun. The Galaxy may offer a mind-boggling variety of ways to be blown up and/or insulted, but it's very hard to get a cup of tea.The Restaurant at the End of the UniverseWhen all questions of space, time, matter and the nature of being have been resolved, only one question remains - 'Where shall we have dinner?' The Restaurant at the End of the Universe provides the ultimate gastronomic experience, and for once there is no morning after to worry about.Life, the Universe and EverythingFollowing a number of stunning catastrophes, Arthur Dent is surprised to find himself living in a hideously miserable cave on prehistoric Earth. However, just as he thinks that things cannot get possibly worse, they suddenly do. An eddy in the space-time continuum lands him, Ford Prefect, and their flying sofa in the middle of the cricket ground at Lord's, just two days before the world is due to be destroyed by the Vogons. Escaping the end of the world for a second time, Arthur, Ford, and their old friend Slartibartfast embark (reluctantly) on a mission to save the whole galaxy from fanatical robots. Not bad for a man in his dressing gown.So Long, and Thanks for All the FishThere is a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss. It's not an easy thing to do, and Arthur Dent thinks he's the only human who's been able to master this nifty little trick – until he meets Fenchurch, the woman of his dreams. Fenchurch once realised how the world could be made a good and happy place. Unfortunately, she's forgotten. Convinced that the secret lies within God's Final Message to His Creation, they go in search of it. And, in a dramatic break with tradition, actually find it . . .Mostly HarmlessArthur Dent has settled down on the small planet Lamuella and has embraced his role as a Sandwich Maker. However, his plans for a quiet life are thrown awry by the unexpected arrival of his daughter. There's nothing worse than a frustrated teenager with a copy of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy in their hands. When she runs away, Arthur goes after her determined to save her from the horrors of the universe. After all - he's encountered most of them before.

Zdravo.

Zdravo. Tokrat začnemo debato z zaspanostjo in dobimo idejo o referendumu o obveznem popoldanskem počitku in referendumu o univerzalnem temeljnem dohodku (UTD).

Vse to v predigri. Zaphod, having learned Heimdall's real name (and the ability to compel the god into doing what he wants), has now FINALLY managed to get into Asgard.Onboard the Tanngrísnir, Ford, Arthur, and Fenchurch are busy ignoring the "boom-chicka-wow-wow" going on between Trillian and Wowbagger. But will Zaphod be able to persuade Thor to kill Wowbagger? And perhaps slightly more important than this, will he be able to persuade Thor NOT to kill HIM before he gets to ask about killing Wowbagger?Support this podcast and gain access to subscriber-only content on https://patreon.com/thebeardedwitSupport this show http://supporter.acast.com/the-bearded-wit. Considered by many to be her best story. The discovery of a dismembered body in the churchyard of Fenchurch St. Paul, leads to many questions, who was he? who murdered him and why? and what significance do the Fenchurch bells themselves have? the Nine Tailors? The elegant, intelligent amateur sleuth Lord Peter Wimsey is one of detective literature's most popular creations, and Ian Carmichael is the personification of Dorothy L. Sayers' charming investigator in this BBC Radio 4 full-cast dramatisation. Lord Peter Wimsey, man about town and amateur sleuth, and his man Bunter, are drawn into a series of intriguing incidents after being stranded in the remote village of Fenchurch St. Paul. What is the identity of the grotesquely disfigured corpse found in the churchyard? Who murdered him and why? Perhaps the Fenchurch bells hold their own answers to the mystery... Starring Ian Carmichael as Lord Peter Wimsey, this Radio 4 dramatisation was first broadcast as a weekly serial in 1980.

Mark and Jon Bounds are joined by Danny Smith to start work on the H section of Douglas Adams' Hitchhikers' universe. Hactar Hactar is the first computer ever to be shocked. The Silastic Armorfiends of Striterax disintegrated it into dust, but it still functioned, slowly. In the radio series, he was played by Leslie Philips. Haggunenons The Haggunenons of Vicissitus Three have the most impatient chromosomes in the Galaxy. Whereas most races are content to evolve slowly and carefully over thousands of generations, discarding a prehensile toe here, nervously hazarding another nostril there, the Haggunenons would do for Charles Darwin what a squadron of Acturan stunt apples would have done for Sir Isaac Newton. Hamlet Adams uses a Hamlet reference when writing about the story Arthur wants to tell Fenchurch, upon their first actual meeting, where they're able to talk while he drives her to Taunton. Han Dold City A dangerous part of the universe. Ford ends up at the Old Pink Dog Bar, where there's a bird that screaches out the names and numbers of local contract killers, as a free service to patrons. Han Wavel A world which consists largely of fabulous ultra-luxury hotels and casinos, all of which have been formed by the natural erosion of wind and rain. Happy Vertical People Transporters Modern elevators are strange and complex entities. The ancient electric winch and “maximum-capacity-eight-persons” jobs bear as much relation to a Sirius Cybernetics Corporation Happy Vertical People Transporter as a packet of mixed nuts does to the entire west wing of the Sirian State Mental Hospital. In a very sexy episode, Mark Steadman, Danny Smith and Jon Bounds continue their mission to discuss everything in the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy canon , in alphabetical order. *Enid Kapelsen * Enid is an elderly resident of Boston, MA, who, while on a flight one day, flipped up the shutter to see Arthur and Fenchurch checking in on a one-way trip to bone-town, only several thousand feet in the air. *Envir-o-Form * The Envir-o-Form is a piece of Grebulon technology that we know little about, but can assume makes organic matter. Given we’re now in the age of lab-grown meat and gene-pool spelunking, we examine our potential future on Earth. *Eric Bartlett * Eric Bartlett is Tricia McMillan’s gardner. She being the Tricia who never became the Trillian we know. He’s the kind of person who “doesn’t hold” with things, like, for example, people coming in from New York first thing in the morning. *Escape-o-Buggy * The Escape-o-Buggy is a tiny cigar-shaped escape pod, used by Ford Prefect when leaving the ship orbiting Sesefras Magna. Evening classes ** Evening classes are little pills you can take, to which Lintilla introduces Arthur, in the second radio series. They’re a part of the weird lifestyle of artificial enhancement and disadvantage she’s party to.
