In this meditation we enjoy the universe flowing from above down through our crown then our third eye and back up to our crown and out, then our throat and back up to our crown and out, heart, solar plexus and back up to our crown and out, genital area and back up to our crown and out, base of our spine and back up to our crown and out. Then back up from the base of our spine nicely up to our crown and out back through each of our chakras. Let's practice together : )

Today we are taking our attention to an aspect of the Svadisthana or Sacral Chakra - the ability to go with the flow! At the hips, where the energy of this chakra lives, we have the element of water at its core, and so we can use the beautiful quality of water to help us embody the ability of water to flow with ease and grace.We all come up against resistance within ourselves and this can not only be restricting and limiting but cause us suffering. Trying to stop the flow of our lives, to suppress our restlessness can create blockages in our energy flow, but connecting with nature, and especially the qualities of water, will give us relief and allow us to go with the flow. You will find a little treat within this meditation as I take you on a journey to a woodland stream, a gently babbling brook, that will assist in taking you to where you will find the ability to connect with nature in order to fully let go and become more fluid in your life. Although meditation became kind of a buzzword in the last years, and we have started hearing a lot about it since the beginning of the pandemic, the general opinion is that it is an extremely hard thing to do. For most of us at this point, training and taming our monkey mind, or lowering the volume of the chatter in our brain are easier said than done. James Brown, our guest for today's show, believes that right there lies the problem of finding meditation hard: for him, meditation is about being; it is not another item in a to-do list. James Brown is a Meditation Teacher, founder of Vedic Path Meditation in San Francisco, and the FLOW Meditation online program developer. James walked away from his 25 years career in advertising as a Creative Director to embark on a two-year study program capped off with a four-month intensive in India, studying with Vedic masters. James is considered one of the world's leading experts on this Vedic approach to meditation. His calling is to teach simple, easy, and powerful meditation techniques to as many people as possible. In this episode, we dive deep into the world of a more straightforward and compelling approach to meditation. In this meditation we call upon Universal Energy and our Family of Light, to invoke and release a flow of miracles in our reality. Miracle Consciousness is the state of a soul that has stabilised within 5th Level Density. In the 3D Matrix miracles are a rarity and when they occur, they are deemed to be due to Divine Providence. As the light is ascending the possibility of mastery is being birthed on the earth-plane. This mastery involved taking responsibility for the reality we are allowing, attracting and creating around us. In this meditation we evoke anything that is not flow from your past and then release and upgrade all energies therein. We also invoke your Infinite-Multidimensional Self to evoke a greater sense of flow in your being and in your reality. Flow is a psychological and energetic state whereby we feel at one with our core essence and at one with the Universe. Flow is a state of total absorption that many creative-artists know. Creative projects including painting a picture, dancing, writing a book/blog and starting or building a business. Many athletes also know about flow though they call it the Zone – a psychological space where mind and body work in perfect sync and movements seem to flow without conscious effort. The Zone is the ability to perform at your highest level in whatever domain of life you wish to enhance, it is not a phenomenon exclusive to art or sports. Effortless being and doing is a spiritual principle from Taoist philosophy that encourages pausing and resting from needless action and going with the flow. Effortless being and doing is like flowing water – it can flow around obstacles to where it needs to go. Effortless being and doing does not seek to ‘push the river’. Effortless being and doing is about going with the flow.
