Hour 3 (9.03) Star Wars takes up 7% of George Lucas's new billion-dollar museum. Mark Sanchez agrees to plead guilty in the Indianapolis stabbing case, and Dolly Parton was laid to rest in a private family service. 8:05 — Mark Sanchez and Marion County prosecutors filed a joint motion to cancel his September 8 jury trial and set a guilty plea and sentencing hearing instead. The charges stem from an October 2025 fight outside a downtown Indianapolis hotel over a parking spot, where Sanchez was stabbed in the chest and a 69-year-old truck driver was seriously injured. Sanchez faced a felony battery count plus misdemeanors including public intoxication. Fox let him go; Drew Brees took the booth. Also, Rob and Michele Reiner's son Jake married Maria Gilfillan in a small private ceremony in August, eight months after his parents were killed in their Brentwood home. 8:20 — The $111 billion Paramount Skydance–Warner Bros. Discovery merger is frozen. Twelve state attorneys general led by California's Rob Bonta sued in July, the Writers Guild filed its own suit the next day, and a federal judge set trial for March 2, 2027. Paramount agreed to hold the deal until as late as June 1, 2027, and starts paying WBD shareholders $7 million a day at the end of September. Plus the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art, the billion-dollar Exposition Park building George Lucas and Mellody Hobson put next to the Coliseum. Thirty-plus galleries across 100,000 square feet, Norman Rockwell and Jack Kirby and Frida Kahlo, and Star Wars occupying about seven percent of it. Opens to the public September 22 — $25 for adults, free for kids under 12 and students. 8:35 — Dolly Parton died August 25 at 80 after a brief battle with cancer and was laid to rest three days later in a private service at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Nashville, buried beside Carl Dean, her husband of nearly 60 years. Jane Fonda, who recruited her for 9 to 5 and gave her her first movie role, got visibly emotional talking about her days after the funeral — including the lunch break where Parton drummed out "9 to 5" on her fingernails for Fonda and Lily Tomlin. 8:50 — The Season 35 cast dropped on GMA: Julia Stiles, Jenna Dewan, Tatyana Ali, Tyler Cameron, Giada De Laurentiis, Harry Shum Jr., Olympic figure skater Amber Glenn, and Jimmy Kimmel's Guillermo Rodriguez. Two-night premiere September 15 and 16. Sixteen celebrities. How many can you name? See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

The hosts are gearing up for their biggest show of the year, with a barbecue company bringing in a giant barbecue stove and a smoker to the studio. one of the hottest tickets in Hollywood. Julia Stiles is officially hitting the dance floor, Taylor Hanson has made an unexpected appearance, and Jenna Dewan is already having to defend herself against claims she has an unfair advantage. We unpack the wild new line-up and why celebrities are suddenly desperate to get on the show. Plus, newly single Isla Fisher is dating again, and she’s revealed the incredibly specific moment a man gave her an irreversible ick. The poor guy was simply trying to catch his runaway dog, but unfortunately the way he did it changed everything. We get into Isla’s confession and the dating icks that prove celebrities really are just like us. And why haven’t we seen a single official photo from Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding? Travis has finally shared some new details about their big day, including why they chose Madison Square Garden and how they managed to keep the whole thing so private. But we have another theory about why Taylor might still be keeping those wedding photos under wraps. iHeartPodcasts, the no. 1 podcast publisher globally, in partnership with The Lighthouse, announced "Waking Up with Ryan," a daily video podcast hosted by coach Ryan Weiss, premiering July 7. In a wellness landscape crowded with big ideas and longer and longer episodes, the show makes a deliberately contrarian bet: that lasting change doesn't come from consuming more inspiration, but from practicing one thing, every day, until it becomes part of you. Each weekday episode (Monday-Friday, roughly ten minutes) centers on a single idea and a guided practice set to music-designed not to be heard and forgotten by lunch, but to be felt in the body and carried into the day. Every other week, the show widens into a long-form conversation with public figures, teachers, and artists about what awakening means to them, and the human experience beneath the public identity.Confirmed guests for special long-form conversations include Sophia Bush, Edgar Ramírez, LeAnn Rimes, Scooter Braun, Jamie Lynn Sigler, Stacy London, Marianne Williamson, Daniel Sharman, Lance Bass, Jennifer Morrison, Krysten Ritter, Gerard Butler, Colton Underwood, Ricki Lake, Danielle Robay, Taye Diggs and JR Bourne, among others."Most of us are searching outside ourselves for something we already carry within," said Weiss. "This show isn't about becoming someone new. It's about remembering who you already are-and doing it in the first few minutes of the day, because how you begin your morning shapes the direction of your life."Weiss arrives at this work from an unlikely path. He began his career performing in "Wicked" on Broadway, then moved behind the scenes as an agent trainee at William Morris Agency and later became the Director of Development at Storyline Entertainment-before a deeper question about what people are really chasing pulled him out of entertainment and into coaching. For the past 17 years, he has worked privately with founders, creatives and public figures through his Emotional Fitness process, a three-step practice for moving from anxiety, stress and overwhelm into safety, trust and action. His coaching career began when actor Jamie-Lynn Sigler insisted he work with her, a story she recounts in her new book, "And So It Is.""Waking Up with Ryan" leans into cultural conversations rather than traditional promotional events. In Los Angeles at Lighthouse Venice, Weiss was joined by Emmanuelle Chriqui and Jenna Dewan for a conversation on how to show up for one another and in New York at Lighthouse Brooklyn, during an evening hosted by Danielle Robay and Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Ricki Lake interviewed Weiss on awakening, transformation and the intention behind the show. These conversations will be available later in the series as part of the long-form episodes."We're always looking for authentic voices that meaningfully shift how people engage with audio, and 'Waking Up with Ryan' does exactly that," said Will Pearson, President of iHeartPodcasts. "Ryan has created something distinct in a crowded wellness space-an experience that is concise, intentional and rooted in real daily practice. It's the kind of show that creates a deep listener relationship over time, which is exactly what a great podcast does best.""Ryan embodies the ethos and mission of The Lighthouse: a multi-hyphenate creative committed to sharing his practice and wisdom in service of others. From his background in dance, to the agency world and into coaching, he brings a rare combination of artistry, empathy and lived experience to his work. With a deluge of wellness content, 'Waking Up with Ryan,' as a shorter daily format, reimagines personal growth into something accessible," said Jon Goss, CEO, The Lighthouse. "Ryan isn't simply creating a podcast. He's creating a daily practice that helps people reconnect with themselves at that captive morning moment. To see that IP originated, and then picked up by iHeart, at The Lighthouse shows we are fulfilling our promise to creators: an infrastructure for frictionless creativity.""Waking Up with Ryan" premieres July 7 on the iHeartRadio app and wherever podcasts are available. New episodes post each weekday and are distributed by iHeartPodcasts.Episodes available here:https://www.iheart.com/podcast/1119-waking-up-with-ryan-337533442 Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/arroe-collins-like-it-s-live--4113802/support.
Was Sarah Jo Pender a master manipulator who orchestrated a brutal double murder, or was she a young woman caught in a flawed investigation and wrongfully convicted? One of the most controversial true-crime cases of the 2000s. Sarah Jo Pender was convicted in 2002 for the murders of Andrew Cataldi and Tricia Nordman, a crime prosecutors argued she planned and directed. Dubbed the "female Charles Manson", Pender maintained her innocence throughout her trial and imprisonment. The Lifetime movie She Made Them Do It, starring Jenna Dewan depicted Sarah's story. For its 20th anniversary, we're revisiting screenwriter Jeffrey Reddick (Final Destination)'s succubus film, Tamara (2005/2006).This one is...perplexing. This week, Aleen and Jordana celebrate Halloween in the studio in matching Carmela and Tony Soprano costumes (check @aleen and @jordanaabraham on IG for the full fits). They kick things off with the spookiest story of the week: Armie Hammer's newly announced podcast, aptly named "The Armie HammerTime Podcast." Next, Timothée Chalamet showed up at his own lookalike contest in NY this week, and Aleen and Jordana get caught up on some of the the ClubChalamet lore. Moving on to celeb relationship news: Despite recent public appearances together looking loved up, Zoë Kravtiz and Channing Tatum have reportedly split - and Jenna Dewan's fiancé seems to find that hilarious, for reasons unknown. Gisele Bündchen and her Jiu-Jitsu instructor/boyfriend are expecting their first child together, and Tom Brady might be feeling kind of emo about it, if his IG stories are any indication. Nick Cannon opened up about feeling insecure during his marriage to “Alpha” Mariah Carey, which leads to a conversation about relationship dynamics within successful couples. Jordana and Aleen share their thoughts on A Friend Of The Family, streaming on Peacock (true crime counts for Halloween, right?). Then, a game of Ick or Treat with five pop culture moments from the week, from Ariana Grande's bf on the cover of GQ to Kim's birthday post for Caitlyn. Finally, a tribute to queen of Halloween, Heidi Klum, who we'd love to share a cider with, sponsored by Angry Orchard Hard Cider. About The Cases of Mystery Lane: Death is Listening - (Hallmark Mystery, 2024) Mike Rohl directed. With 63 directing credits, Rohl has directed several episodes of When Calls the Heart, two episodes of Signed, Sealed, Delivered, as well as the first installment of The Cases of Mystery Lane. This isn't his only movie in the fall 2024 lineup; Rohl directed the upcoming Falling Together also starring Paul Campbell. Joel Dovev & Margaux Froley are the husband/wife writing team behind The Cases of Mystery Lane: Death is Listening. Joel Dovev has just three writing credits: these two movies, as well as a short called Bruce. IMDb also lists he is a writer on a project in development, and all it says is “Untitled Ashley Williams Kimberley Sustad Project.” Also noteworthy, Dovev was an assistant producer on the recent Prison Confessions of Gypsy Rose Blanchard. Margaux Froley has six writing credits, including the Cases movies, a Lifetime movie called Let's Get Physical with Jenna Dewan, as well as an episode of a 2008 series called Privileged, which starred JoAnna Garcia Swisher, Lucy Hale, and Ashley Newbrough. Froley is also listed as a writer on the Ashley Williams/Kimberley Sustad project. Aimee Garcia plays Birdie. Garcia's TV credits include Dexter, Hulu's WOKE, Marvel's M.O.D.O.K., Rush Hour, Vegas, and The George Lopez Show. She also headlined a Netflix film called Christmas with You. This movie marks Garcia's second movie for Hallmark, and it was just announced that Garcia will join the third season of Criminal Minds: Evolution on Paramount+. Paul Campbell plays Alden. With Campbell's 54 acting credits, we last saw him in last year's Magic in Mistletoe. It's kind of wild that it's almost been a whole year since he's been in a Hallmark movie. However, he has been busy. He's got two more movies on Hallmark, including Falling Together, which airs this Saturday. He will also reprise his role as Stephan in Three Wiser Men and a Boy this holiday season. Matt Hamilton returns as Officer ‘Air Quotes' Newton. Hamilton has 62 acting credits, with three non-Hallmark projects in production. He was last seen in A World Record Christmas during last year's Countdown to Christmas. Fans in the GGH FB group are calling for Matt to step into a lead Hallmark role. Meghan Heffern plays Birdie's old friend Kristen. Heffern has 69 acting credits, with roles in Betty's Bad Luck in Love and Retreat to You. She will be seen next in Autumn at Apple Hill. Samantha Ferris plays podcaster Laurel St. James. With a whopping 92 acting credits, you might recognize Ferris from Hallmark faves like A Picture of Her, A Winning Team, When Calls the Heart, and Christmas Under the Stars. Lillian Doucet-Roche plays fellow crime podcaster Katie. She has 18 acting credits, with the last six projects being for Hallmark. She recently played Mia Cavendish in February's Paging Mr. Darcy. Brandi Alexander plays yogi Wintress. Brandi is no stranger to Hallmark. She has appeared in movies like Wedding Every Weekend, Darrow & Darrow, and Christmas on Cherry Lane. No news if she will reprise her role as Daisy in the rum...

Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan are headed to court. Even though the “Step Up” stars announced they were divorcing back in 2018, they still haven't finalized things. And it looks like the hold up has been over money. A lot of it. Jenna says she's owed a big piece of Channing's profits from the “Magic Mike” franchise, since it was their marital moolah that helped finance the first flick. But Channing says he's grown the franchise a ton after they split up. This high profile celebrity divorce trial is on the books for December, and they'll be calling each other as witnesses. So buckle up, Richies, and get ready for their legal “last dance.”See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
