In fact, the Church was one of the first institutions to develop a formal framework for investigating unexplained phenomena—long before the term "paranormal investigator" even existed. We explore how Catholic doctrine addresses spiritual warfare, the afterlife, and the existence of angels and demons. We also look at the Church's process for validating supernatural claims, such as Marian apparitions or incorruptible saints, and how these processes parallel modern paranormal investigation methods.
