Dr. Jeff Gross — Board-certified neurological surgeon, biochemist, biohacker, founder of Celebrate Regenerative Medicine, and longevity/biohacking consultant based in Las Vegas & Southern California. Medical & Health Longevity Background: Dr. Gross trained at UC Berkeley (Biochemistry & Molecular Biology), George Washington University School of Medicine, UC Irvine (Neurosurgery), and UNM (Spinal Biomechanics). He has decades of frontline experience in spine surgery, sports injuries, regenerative medicine, and now consults on biohacking and longevity. Biohacking & Longevity: Biohacking is essentially circles back to ancient wellness wisdom (eat well, sleep, exercise)—but enhanced by modern science (measuring phytonutrients, leveraging tech like red light, hyperbaric therapy, protein timing, etc). Emphasizes that “prevention” is still the number one defense against the four top causes of death in Western countries; early proactive screening and lifestyle habits remain critical. There is increasing crossover between “traditional medicine” and “naturopathic”/“functional” approaches—Dr. Gross sees this convergence as positive and overdue, but notes resistance still exists in mainstream medicine. Emerging Business Opportunities in the Wellness Space: IV centers, cryotherapy, and retail biohacking clinics (hyperbaric O2, red light therapy, peptides, weight loss clinics, etc.) are booming, especially in health-conscious cities. Low-barrier options: health coaching, nutrition consulting, affiliate/online influencer businesses—Dr. Gross notes people he knows personally earning seven figures as wellness affiliates. Innovations: Short-form EMS (electro-muscular stimulation) workouts, “blood flow restriction” exercise systems, and more. Cancer screening clinics: Now possible with advanced genomics and blood-testing—these are in demand but not widely available through traditional doctors/insurance, opening more avenues for direct-to-consumer providers. Supplementation & Biohacking Basics: “Non-negotiables” for almost everyone: Vitamin D3 (& often K2): Most people are deficient; optimal blood levels promote longevity, reduce inflammation, and lower all-cause mortality. Magnesium: Especially at night for recovery and cellular repair. Creatine: Improves muscle mass, heart health, and brain health; well correlated with longevity. Probiotics: Modern lifestyles make gut health challenging—good probiotic support is important. Nicotine: Can be a cognitive enhancer in low doses and proper delivery (gum/patch, NOT smoking)—but is highly addictive. Other Business/Money Ideas: Successful affiliate and influencer businesses for those passionate about health and wellness. Emphasizes supplement sales (with high trust and real value), personalized coaching, and education are evergreen opportunities. Industry Critique: Criticizes health insurance as a “legal mafia,” noting it often adds cost and hassle while limiting real preventive care. Encourages listeners to be their “own best advocate” for health—don't rely only on five-minute mainstream doctor visits. Connect with Dr. Jeff Gross: https://recellebrate.com/

Greetings from the East,The unwavering loyalty of a candidate that is priceless to freemasonry is not built in a moment, it develops over time as he knocks at the door of the oldest fraternity and passes through the vital passages to transform into a fine man whose purity of intention and virtue of love wins him acceptance in different walks of life. Vitamin D3 from sunlight also hits the cholesterol in the skin and passes through the liver and then through the kidneys and forms a hormone we know as Vitamin D. It makes the body stronger and boosts immunity to develop into an efficient engine. The lodge is like a body that waits and watches along the recesses of time when the projection of a new and incoming leader wants his transition into a better person. This eventually makes the Lodge's skeletal structure stronger like Vitamin D and makes it more dependable that resists internal and external stresses. The summer event set up in June for the Renaissance Faire as a group will be an awesome example. Welcome Sunshine!I may not be worthy of you, watch me wait with interestMany candidates have been waiting with interest, we picked the diligent ones and watched their curiosity in the examination and frequent visits to help out with chores. Mohammad Ali, a native of Pakistan mesmerized all of us with his cooking, we finally gave him the first degree the week after the Stated Meeting which was my first degree as the sitting master. Yours truly was born in India whose rich culture dominated the communal and regional divisions, and freemasonry's ethics of global brotherhood worked to top it off. In Freemasonry, we go beyond the political divides and still hold on to our principles of friendship and brotherly love no matter what. The 3rd degree for Joe Edwards was no small fete, it happened on a leap day and at least 4 lodges attended the ceremony. Infinity can't be measured only added to what our lodge members do with their punctual presence and unfettered joy of service that beseeches us to say Welcome Sunshine!Shivam Sharma, HA2024 Master

Menopause isn't a medical condition requiring endurance—it's a physiological transition that responds to intervention. While the diagnostic criteria demand 12 consecutive months of amenorrhea, waiting a full year to address debilitating symptoms defies clinical logic. When patients present with vasomotor symptoms, mood dysregulation, and menstrual irregularities, laboratory evaluation can provide diagnostic clarity before the arbitrary 12-month mark. The key is recognizing that symptom management doesn't require a completed diagnostic checklist. This episode dissects the diagnostic approach to menopause, examines the cultural mythology that keeps women suffering unnecessarily, and provides evidence-based perspectives on hormone replacement therapy. We'll explore the actual risk-benefit profile of HRT, the cardiovascular and skeletal implications of hormone deficiency, and why decades of misinterpreted data have created widespread HRT phobia. Because apparently, we needed a Women's Health Initiative study to convince everyone that horse urine hormones aren't ideal for human women. Episode Highlights: Clinical definitions and diagnostic nuances of perimenopause versus menopause Laboratory markers and symptom patterns that inform menopause diagnosis The overlooked significance of testosterone assessment in menopausal women How societal expectations perpetuate the "suffer in silence" mentality Deconstructing the HRT fear-mongering that followed flawed research interpretations Evidence-based rebuttal to the estradiol-breast cancer causation myth Comprehensive approach to symptom assessment and therapeutic options Risk-benefit analysis of bioidentical estradiol and progesterone therapy Comparative evaluation of progesterone and estrogen delivery methods Clinical consequences of testosterone deficiency in women Pre-treatment evaluation and contraindications for HRT initiation Role of genetic testing in personalizing hormone replacement protocols Distinguishing natural menopause from surgical menopause management strategies Episode Resources: Dr. Shawn Tassone's Practice | https://www.drshawntassone.com Dr. Shawn Tassone's Book | The Hormone Balance Bible Dr. Shawn Tassone's Integrative Hormonal Mapping System | Hormone Archetype Quiz Thank you to our sponsor, Purality Health! In this episode, Dr. Shawn Tassone examines a paradigm-shifting study from the Journal of the North American Menopause Society that demolishes decades of unfounded hysteria surrounding hormone replacement therapy for women over 65. The research reveals that HRT—specifically estrogen therapy—administered beyond age 65 correlates with significant risk reductions across multiple disease categories: mortality, breast cancer, lung cancer, colorectal cancer, congestive heart failure, venous thromboembolism, atrial fibrillation, myocardial infarction, and dementia. The findings underscore the critical importance of precision medicine approaches utilizing individualized protocols, lower dosing strategies, and non-oral delivery methods for optimal clinical outcomes. Episode Highlights The NAMS study that's rewriting the hormone therapy playbook for women over 65 Quantifiable risk reductions across nine major disease categories, including the holy grail of mortality reduction Why the data on breast cancer, lung cancer, and colorectal cancer risk reduction should make us question everything we thought we knew The cardiovascular benefits that contradict decades of clinical paranoia: reduced congestive heart failure, venous thromboembolism, atrial fibrillation, and heart attacks Dementia risk reduction—because apparently estrogen is neuroprotective, not neurotoxic The vindication of individualized hormone therapy protocols using lower doses and transdermal delivery Estrogen monotherapy combined with progesterone: the life-extending intervention hiding in plain sight How this research obliterates the arbitrary age-based cutoffs that have dominated clinical practice Why your patients over 65 deserve a risk-benefit analysis based on actual science, not medical mythology The clinical implications for practitioners ready to abandon fear-based prescribing in favor of evidence-based care Episode Resources Dr. Shawn Tassone's Practice | https://www.drshawntassone.com Dr. Shawn Tassone's Book | The Hormone Balance Bible Dr. Shawn Tassone's Integrative Hormonal Mapping System | Hormone Archetype Quiz Thank you to our sponsor, Purality Health! An episode from The Holistic Navigator. This is not to diagnosis or treat any disease/illness. Consult your physician before taking supplements or medications OR before you stop taking medications. This is for entertainment/informational purposes only! Quercetin is a funny sounding nutrient that isn't joking around. It's an antioxidant that's found in plants that is most often associated with sinus and allergy support, but it's a powerhouse that should be considered as a daily supplement. From athletes, allergy sufferers, or anyone exposed to respiratory stressors, quercetin is a wonderful supplement with a plethora of benefits. Meet John Mills: On this week's episode we speak with John Mills, Director of Quality and Compliance at Highland Laboratories in Mt. Angel, Oregon. John walks us through an overview of the general benefits and then looks at a specific quercetin formulation from Mt. Angel Vitamins that includes Zinc, Bromelain, Stinging Nettles, Vitamin-C and Vitamin-D3. He gives us great information about dosing, when and how to take it, and how it should be in everyone's cabinet and part of a daily routine! Some Questions We Discuss: What is quercetin and what are the benefits of it? (5:14) Who might benefit from taking quercetin daily? (8:43) What makes quercetin different from other histamine blockers? (11:55) Can you take too much quercetin?(13:35) Are there any medications that quercetin negatively interacts with? (18:43) Some Key Takeaways From This Episode: Quercetin has surprising benefits for athletes due to its antioxidant effects. (6:16) People with allergies, seasonal or in general, can benefit greatly from quercetin. (8:55) We are overwhelmed with environmental stressors that hurt our lungs so we need to support them. (10:03) Everyone needs to be taking zinc supplements. (14:32) Increase Vitamin C levels when taking quercetin. (18:55) Quercetin may be better suited as a preventative as opposed to a response. Episode 2632: Vinnie Tortorich and Chris Shaffer discuss training goals and give a rundown of some vitamin basics you should know, and more. https://vinnietortorich.com/2025/04/some-vitamin-basics-episode-2632 PLEASE SUPPORT OUR SPONSORS YOU CAN WATCH ALL THE PODCAST EPISODES ON YOUTUBE - Some Vitamin Basics Vinnie recaps his cardio goals. (1:00) However, this year he decided to focus more on strength training. It doesn't mean he's slacking on cardio. He's prepping for another climb up Mt. Whitney in the upcoming months. They discuss “periodization" training. Vinnie switches to a recent consultation he had with a couple. (16:00) He realizes he needs to discuss the subject of vitamins more frequently. Full disclosure: Vinnie owns Pure Vitamin Club. (20:00) Today's lifestyles and stressors deplete the body of vitamins, so it's good to supplement where possible. (20:20) Vitamin B-12 is essential and involved in developing red blood cells, brain health, and DNA. There are different forms of B-12 vitamins: methylcobalamin and cyanocobalamin. Stay away from cyanocobalamin. It is a synthetic form and contains a cyanide molecule. Vitamin C is absorbed better when hooked to a fat molecule (meaning liposomal). (28:00) The reason Vinnie created a vitamin company is to help people be better. (28:30) When he was cured of cancer in 2007, he analyzed everything in his lifestyle, including the vitamins he was taking. He realized that even the high-end vitamins he had been using had crap ingredients. (31:00) Vitamin E is great to take, but take one made with tocotrienol, a better form of vitamin E. (40:15) Vitamins often work better when they are blended with the proper molecules. For example, Vitamin D3 is absorbed better when attached to Vitamin K. Two recent studies show that vitamin D can be an effective way to slow multiple sclerosis. (44:45) A specific strain of spirulina is apparently a usable form of B-12 for vegans. (47:45) Pure Vitamin Club's B-12 is sublingual, so you let it dissolve under your tongue. Follow Vinnie on X @vinnietortorich. He has been increasing content, including videos.
