Microsoft is gonna start looking into why game devs aren't prioritizing its console, the Xbox Series, over PS5 when deciding what platforms their games should be on.in relation to bringing their games to its console. In a developer blog, Microsoft announced that it'll be directly engaging with game creators to hopefully enhance the experience between the corporation and development partners. Seems like many game devs have been putting the Xbox consoles on the back burner due to certain struggles game devs have experienced with the #Xbox ecosystem. One major example that comes to mind is Baldur's Gate 3, which was delayed on Xbox series consoles due to the Series S being unable to run the split-screen multiplayer option. Many other developers have publicly expressed their concerns with Xbox which led to them having to delay their games. Dit keer kun je bijna stellen dat we hier te maken hebben met een verkapte Silent Hill-special. Op woensdagavond werden er namelijk maar liefst vijf nieuwe projecten binnen de beruchte franchise aangekondigd. En daar moeten we het natuurlijk even goed over hebben. Een epische franchise voor velen die eindelijk vers leven wordt ingeblazen. Om welke projecten het precies gaat, dat gaan we je vertellen in het GK Journaal van donderdag 20 oktober 2022. Een vrij griezelige editie met andere woorden... Silent Hill 2 is 12 maanden PS5 exclusive Na maanden van speculaas en geruchten heeft Konami dan eindelijk officieel de Silent Hill 2-remake bevestigd. Ze deden dat tijdens een online presentatie op woensdagavond. De game lijkt, afgaande op de beelden die we zagen, van de grond af opnieuw opgebouwd, terwijl de essentie van het origineel uit 2001 intact blijft. De oplettende kijker had natuurlijk al gemerkt dat JJ in deze video de vergissing maakt om 1999 als releasedatum van deel 2 aan te halen. Dat betrof natuurlijk het eerste deel. Xbox wil de mobiel ook gaan veroveren Naast de remake, die wel met zijn allen wel zagen aankomen, waren er gelukkig ook een aantal verrassingen. We kregen ook Silent Hill F, Silent Hill Townfall, Silent Hill Ascension en een nieuwe film om de oren. Vijf nieuwe projecten van een van de meest bekende franchises uit het survival horror genre. En als je dan weet dat Capcom vanavond met nieuwe beelden komt van Resident Evil 4 en Dead Space Remake er ook aankomt, dan weet je dat fans van het survival horror genre mooie tijden te gemoed gaan.
