Welcome to Episode 17 of the Lovecars on the Grid podcast! Tiff Needell and Paul Woodman are back with another roundup of motorsport events from the past week! We had quite a few events this weekend, from WEC in Croatia, BTCC in Donington Park, Formula E in Berlin. We've had a reshuffle in the Mercedes F1 garage, plus Silverstone are changing turn 1 after last year's crash with Zhou Guanyu. World Rally Championship of course had a cloud after the passing of Craig Breen in Croatia. Winners Elfyn Evans and Scott Martin paid tribute to the former driver. There was controversy as a co driver had hit seatbelt stuck under his HANS device. The British Touring cars were racing at a very wet Donington Park! After several clashes, and with some comparisons to Formula 1 driver, Max Verstappen, Ash Sutton took the win, followed by Daniel Rowbottom in 2nd place and Dan Cammish in 3rd place. Berlin saw the Formula E racing this weekend. We had climate activists at the race on Sunday, which was rather ironic, but the win went to Nick Cassidy of Envision Racing, whilst second place went to Jake Dennis and 3rd to Jean-Eric Vergne. The World Fanatec GT Challenge took place at Monaco, with a fantastic grid made up of lots of different cars. World Superbikes were in Holland, with Alvaro Bautista winning all three races, Toprak Razgatlioglu and Jonathan Rea all continuing to dominate the season, but why is this? SuperFormula Japan was at Suzuka and NASCAR was at Talledega! Kyle Busch took the win, with Ryan Blaney pushing Bubba Wallace out of the way for 2nd place. We have a very hectic weekend ahead of us, with the first sprint race in Formula 1 2023 happening in Azerbaijan. Indycar are back racing at Birmingham road course. WEC are racing at Spa Francorchamps. MotoGP is also back in Spain, whilst the British Superbikes at Oulton Park and Aussie Supercars, and even the first weekend of the Formula 1 Academy at the Red Bull Ring! What will you be watching? Let us know in the comments!
Welcome to the Lovecars On The Grid Motorsport podcast! Tiff Needell and Paul Woodman bring us the highlights from a jam packed week of motorsport from around the World! We start by paying our respects to Irish Rally Legend, Craig Breen, who sadly lost his life this week. Our very own Tiff Needell was driving at the Goodwood members meeting in a Ford Cortina. The World Endurance Championship was at Portimao in Portugal, with a win for Toyota, with Ferrari in 2nd place and Porsche in 3rd place. IMSA Sport cars were in Long Beach, which saw the first win for Porsche with the 963. Indycar were also racing at Long Beach, making for a fantastic weekend in California. Pat O'Ward made for a very late overtake attempt, which caused some controversy, but the win went to Kyle Kirkwood after achieving pole position for the race. We had action at the Circuit of the Americas with MotoGP. Spanish rider, Alex Rins won on his Honda, with Luca Marini in 2nd place on his Ducati. NASCAR was at Martinsville at a half mile track, where we had another win for Kyle Larson. Coming up next weekend, we have World Superbikes in Holland. Superformula is in Japan, plus NASCAR at Talledega, plus Formula E and BTCC are back!
In February 1986 a deaf single mother and her two young sons were murdered in her Talledega apartment. Killed by a serial killer who would prove hard to catch and arguably shouldn't have been on the streets to commit the heinous crime, to begin with. This fortnight we will discuss American serial killer, Daniel Lee Siebert. We will talk about his parents, upbringing, and early years before getting into his most well-known crime. I've also found some interesting details about his lesser-known victims' lives. Welcome to episode 39 of the Lovecars On The Grid Podcast! Tiff Needell and Paul Woodman bring us another roundup of motorsport events from the past week. We're a day late with the podcast this week (sorry), as Paul has been filming for our upcoming TV show! In Formula 1, Max Verstappen could take the F1 World Title this weekend, coming up to the record for the most wins in a season and probably the most dominant season we've ever seen in Formula 1! Zhou Guanyu has confirmed to be continuing to drive for Alfa Romeo next year, whilst the FIA has rejected Indycar driver, Colton Herta's application for a super license. Nicolas Latifi has also been confirmed that he will leave the Williams F1 team, where will he go next? There was a lot of motorbike racing, with Moto GP, Superbikes and British Superbikes! In the British GT, we had the issue of track limits, allowing drivers to overtake off the track and made it more like an amateur banger race at Brands Hatch. Extreme E was in Venezuela for the Copper X-Prix, with absolute chaos with the dust between the cars. The winner was determined by penalties given to each driver for hitting marker flags. Team Hamilton X44 won ahead of McLaren thanks for these penalties. Moto GP had a wet qualifying at the Grand Prix of Japan. The race was won by Australian rider, Jack Miller on his Ducati. Just four rounds to go in Moto GP and a race in Kazakhstan in 2023! The World Superbikes were in Barcelona, with wins in all three wins going to Alvaro Bautista on his Ducati. British Superbikes was full of drama at the weekend at Oulton Park, with Donington Park coming next weekend. Jason O'Halloran and Peter Hickman had a collision in the first race, as both riders attempted an overtake. In race 2, reigning champion, Tarran Mackenzie fell off and broke his femur after being struck by Peter Hickman. Mackenzie is recovering in hospital. Over the pond in NASCAR, the drivers were in Texas, with lots of tyre failures as teams push the limits of the Goodyear tyres. The next race is the lottery of Talledega! Next week, we have WRC in New Zealand, British Superbikes are at Donington Park, Moto GP is in Thailand and Formula 1 and W Series at in Singapore for the night race!

NASCAR drivers generally have a lot in common. For starters, they are overwhelmingly American, male, and coming from seriously wealthy backgrounds. Winnipeg's own Amber Balcaen has got her 'outsider' bases covered. As the only Canadian racing full time on the NASCAR circuit, she's overcoming challenges left, right and centre. Luckily, Balcaen is used to fighting for what she wants. Her background in Canadian dirt track racing only allowed her to drive a few months a year, while her competition in the southern USA enjoyed tracks that were open year-round. Sponsorship, the keys to the castle in this incredibly expensive sport, doesn't come easy for a Canadian either. Why would a Canadian company get behind a sport that is overwhelmingly popular in the USA, but hit and miss north of the 49th? And why would Americans put money behind a Canadian racer? That's where Balcaen's business background, and limitless hustle, made the difference. She noticed that race tracks were always ringed with RVs full of fans, so she started building a business case around that, then courted a Canadian-based, North American firm making RV parts. A winning partnership was formed, and she's racing in a custom red and white rocket to prove it. As a woman among Good Ole Boys, nothing came easy for Balcaen. She had to win respect the only way you can in racing: weekend after weekend of high finishes, quality performances, and fearless competition. Everybody loves an underdog story. The only trouble there is she's so fast on the track that the 'underdog' label doesn't fit the bill anymore. Despite focusing on her race this Saturday at the super speedway in Talledega, Balcaen found time with Anastasia to talk about her unlikely journey from Maniitoba dirt tracks to the heartland of American racing.

What is 'Let's Go Brandon' all about? Well, the mainstream media, who likes to create and control narratives, interviewed a Nascar racer who won in Talledega (whose name was Brandon). In the background, the crowds were cheering F*** Joe Biden, but the interviewer said they were chanting Let's Go Brandon for the winner. This actually backfired on the media though. Now everyone is jeering Let's go Brandon. People who don't want to say the F word are saying this instead. Now the normies all over social media are asking what does this come from- what did I miss etc. And they are learning the truth of blatant lies and coverups. I noticed a commercial on tv for Boystown. The commercial says it helps troubled boys blah blah blah and at the end it says "from darkness to light". I did a little digging and found Boystown has been involved with human trafficking. I also found that they are connected to Boystown in Mexico (town?) that is the largest human trafficking point on the globe. I believe the Boystown and MX are what is Q is talking about wiht darkness to light. They are the target. In researching this though, Ronald Reagan seemed to order up some boys for his pedophile friends. This is a group known to service elites. This may also open up the can of worms about Pence and his raping and murdering of boys. This is the can of whoop ass in my humble opinion getting ready to be served on the deep state. I have an audio clip where they read the charges and seek indictment of Dr. Fauci. We will see if he is indicted this week. The list of co conspirators of Ghislaine Maxwell is due today to the court. This will be interesting. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/chai-velocity/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/chai-velocity/support

He came in like a flash of lighting and then was gone, but along the way a NASCAR racer named Buckshot Jones made quite the name for himself. Dale Earnhardt Jr. and co-host Mike Davis sit down with the mysterious and controversial racer. Buckshot wasn't always known by his colorful name, and his real name had a sense of toughness as well. From the farms of Georgia sprouted a teenager with the desire to race. His self-made father helped pave the way with a plan as unique as his son's brand. His first car may have been a dusty barn find, but soon Jones was at the pinnacle of the NASCAR ranks in the Cup Series. As you could guess with a name like Buckshot, he got a lot of attention along the way. The Georgia boy moved to South Carolina to take lessons from a successful crew chief and his legendary father. From Darlington tips to shooting quarters, David Pearson taught the young driver some valuable lessons. Souvenir sales and on-track success were often rivaled by controversy. Keeping up with the NASCAR rap-sheet of the aggressive Jones became a challenge for some. We find out the real story of what started his rivalry with Randy LaJoie. Let's just say it all started in a hotel parking lot. The headlines of their tangles in some ways defined the career of Jones, who wouldn't back down from even a seasoned Champion such as LaJoie. Dale Jr. and Buckshot even hash out the wreck at Talledega, that pissed off Dick Trickle and sent the young Earnhardt on his roof during his first race at Daytona. Speaking of Earnhardts, even Dale Sr. wasn't pleased with Jones. But this time, Buckshot was quick to point out that the Intimidation was real. After a few years, poof, it was over. No double-zero car. No six-shooter logo. Where did Buckshot go? The Download finds out... Before Buckshot's arrival to the studio, Dale comes clean about who America's Crew Chief really is and what caused the chatter between the NBC booth boys and some broadcasters at Fox. Once that is solved, we learn that Mike Davis has a problem that needed solving. It involved a wet carpet, an angry wife, and unwanted videotaping. Dale and the DJD gang offer their advice to getting back on the good side of Sarah Davis. The day before the podcast, Dale Jr.'s curiosity led him to ask fans about his Peacock TV show Lost Speedways. Hear what they have to say and his challenge for this week at Daytona. Speaking of fans... they bring the heat this week with questions for the two-time Daytona 500 Champion. Dale Jr. admits to a few cheat fails during his time racing Late Models in this week's AskJr presented by Xfinity. Dale addresses rumors of NASCAR at the Los Angeles Coliseum and talks about the resurgence of AJ Almendinger in the Xfinity Series. That and much more on the Dale Jr. Download. Conor and Anthony break down a CONTROVERSIAL Talledega Race, and argue if the correct call was achieved. And look at the recent BOOM in Silly Season moves and predict where the rest of the stones fall, Enjoy!
Talledega was surely wild. The wrecks and the close calls show it why it is one or maybe the craziest circuit on the year. Denny Hamlin, with his win, took the points lead ahead of Kevin harvick due to the playoff drama at talledega. Harvick has lead the points lead since the fan shield 500 at pheonix raceway before the pandemic hit,and now we have a new points leader! That could propel Denny Hamlin to win his first title possibly. He won even though he went under the yellow line which is not allowed. The reason why he went under was to avoid a wreck.
Today,we look at who will do probably well in Sunday's Yellawood 500 from talledega superspeedway. The ones that will really good are Ryan Blaney and Ricky Stenhouse.jr. They were great in the spring talledega race, and I think they will do great again. Drafting will be key to win the race because 11 drivers still have a shot at making the round of 8. Those are Kevin harvick,Denny Hamlin,Brad Keselowski,Martin Truex.jr,Joey logano, chase Elliott,Alex Bowman,Kyle Busch,Clint bowyer,Aric Almirola and Austin Dillon still need to make it to the round of 8.
On the preview show, they say that talledega superspeedway's playoff race is like “Cutoof A” of round of 12. There are a lot of suprises in the nascar 2021 schedule with road America,Cota,Bristol dirt race, darlington and Atlanta with added races makes this schedule so unique.
