Start by shifting beliefs if you want different results.Pain-point marketing isn't dead—you're just not selling to beliefs that matter. The subconscious brain makes most decisions, not logic and reason.Buyer objections often stem from unaddressed limiting beliefs, not the offer itself.GRAB BUYER PSYCHOLOGY TODAY >>> Meghanlamle.com/buyers-psychologyLinks:InstagramLinkedinBlog If you are struggling with signing clients on sales calls, grab the 10k sales script to help you sign clients today. Messaging tweaks are everywhere right now—“I changed my messaging and made $100K overnight!” But here's the truth: most people completely misunderstand messaging because they aren't connecting it to buyer psychology and sales behavior. In today's episode, we're cutting through the fluff and getting to the real reason your messaging isn't converting: it's not aligned with how buyers make decisions. We explore how neuromarketing, behavioral economics, and sales psychology can help you craft messaging that hits home, feels embodied, and drives action—without manipulative tactics. You'll hear real examples from my own journey, including how I went from crickets to a $100K+ launch by shifting my messaging to what my audience truly wanted (spoiler alert: it wasn't what I thought). What You'll Learn in This Episode:✅ Why most messaging falls flat—and how to fix it ✅ How to uncover what your audience truly desires (not just what they need) ✅ The difference between wants vs. needs in messaging and why it matters ✅ How buyer psychology drives decision-making (even if they say they're “logical”) ✅ Why clear, specific visuals are the key to creating emotional resonance ✅ How to create a core message that feels embodied, honest, and repeatable ✅ Why vague messaging leads to confusion—and what to do instead ✅ The secret behind desire-led messaging that builds trust and increases conversions ✅ How to avoid common traps like misaligned offers, surface-level messaging, and unclear positioningKey Takeaways:People buy what they want, not what they need. Sell the want; deliver the need inside your offer.Messaging needs to feel embodied and authentic. If you don't believe it or live it, neither will your buyers.Clear, specific visuals tap into emotions—and emotions trigger decisions.Repetition is key. Your core message should be said over and over again in different ways across your content.Desire is powerful. Buyers may not openly admit they want more money, power, or freedom, but they do. You need to normalize that conversation.GRAB BUYER PSYCHOLOGY TODAY >>> Meghanlamle.com/buyers-psychologyLinks:InstagramLinkedinBlog If you are struggling with signing clients on sales calls, grab the 10k sales script to help you sign clients today. Although, having a vision in place for where you would like to end up does help when following a business strategy, there is major damage when you skip the strategy portion for your business. This leads to lack of structure, feeling as if you are playing catch up on the first of every month. When a plan is what can help When you skip strategy for business, lack of structure, feeling like having to make up, when strategizing can be helpful to plan. Welcome to Salesy with Meghan. Today, Meghan sat down to talk about You Aren't Going to Wake Up and Be Good at Sales.Meghan's has ten years of experience in sales, and she is here to tell you what it means to REALLY be good at sales. Sales is one of those industries where most are not good when they started. Meghan shares insight on her experience in sales and how she wasn't the best when she first started either. There were plenty of days that Meghan had gone without selling something at her retail job. Meghan shares that the secret sauce to growing in sales is to show up.You are going to avoid sales and say that is it not for you. This mentality stops you from showing up for yourself. Most of you are just waiting to be good at sales without showing up or putting in the work. The problem with some sales courses is that they are taught from the perspective of what worked for the teacher rather than sales strategies customized to work for you. Once you feel comfortable with the strategies that allow your sales to feel more "you", it gets easier through time.To make sales less intimidating, you have to remember that sales is a mixture of three core elements: communication, listening and Sales Psychology.Communicate clearly, listen actively, and understand how to use Sales Psychology to your advantage. In Sales, it is important to know how to use the information that you have. You only get good at sales when you hone-in on your skill, understand and practice it over and over. Welcome to Salesy with Meghan. Today, Meghan sat down to give 20k advice RIGHT HERE.If you only made $5k for the next five months - that would be an extra $25k this year Meghan has seen it happen more times than not - going from no interest, no inquires and no clients and then you learn sales you shift into confidently selling your offer daily, having ENDLESS feed content (2x posting daily) and people raising their hands the power is sales and KNOWING how to sign clients. The biggest gaps discussed are: Lack of consistent content creation that makes sense for your ideal clients. 2. Selling when you NEED a client, not thinking ahead. okay, I've been here too. But sales is building consistent awareness around your offers. 3. Lack of information around sales beyond scripts, methods and slide decks. Having a DEEP understanding of your sales process and sales psychology takes the finger crossing.Links:InstagramLinkedinBlogIf you are struggling with signing clients on sales calls, grab the 10k sales script to help you sign clients today. Finding the balance between doing work and resting. Diving into the importance of reflection and how to brave the chance to be disappointed. Meghan speaks about the harms of the “I Just Want…” mindset, as it creates a moving goalpost mentality…preventing true reflection of evaluating our milestones and distance to our end goal. Touching on the importance of celebrating yourself. Heather also shares insight about her Alchemy Incubator program, that is 12 months long, has two retreats and hosts 10 women max. Welcome to Salesy with Meghan. Today, Meghan sat down to talk about Your Fall ResetThe first half of the year has passed, we are moving into Q4 and motivational posts are popularizing around the year's imminent ending. For some of us, the beginning of the year was not our best.Imagine you end your year with recurring income, a plan for 2025, and feel confident and comfortable in that. How do you start to adjust and get yourself to where you want to be? When you learn how to do sales in a way that feels good for you, sales are more natural and rewarding. Meghan's origin in sales started with her last $200 in her account, wondering how people could make millions of dollars on an app that she uses to share photos of and with her friends. Although content creation does not require a “secret sauce”, it is the secret along with sales for business growth. When it comes to finishing out your year at a level that you want to be, it is time to be reminded that your Fall Reset is here. Resetting yourself is analyzing where you want to be, dissecting what is holding you back, and calibrating a better approach to overhaul where you are at in your business now. Meghan talks about the “athletic mindset” as the type of mindset to set yourself in for your Fall Reset - in order to prepare yourself for the next step. Who's going to be the best at what they do? You are. Welcome to Salesy with Meghan. Today, Meghan sat down to ask you...where do you want to be at the end of 2024?What do you want to feel like, what will you have wanted to accomplish on the back half of the year. Focusing not on how you feel you are at now, in August, but where can you take yourself to by the end of the year? Meghan emphasizes the importance of creating a plan, even if life throws you adversity and curveballs that might put up a few roadblocks along your journey. She also talks about the burn out that she experienced when she wasn't planning properly and attending meetings unprepared. Remember, you have control. You have control over how you take action and how you show up. You still have the rest of the year to exercise that control. No matter what your excuse behind why you aren't where you want to be or why someone is more successful than you, you can change the input and you can how you show up. It's easy to be reactive in business and give yourself all the reasons why something didn't work out. But that is not how it has to be. You do not have to be reactive. You can be proactive. You can make a conscious decision to change how you approach your business. Welcome to Salesy with Meghan. Today, Meghan sat down to talk about how she cares DEEPLY about what people think of her.Opening up the conversation with what has caused Meghan to care deeply about what others think of her, such as responses to trauma, schools she has attended, and experiences growing up in general. Realizing through hypnotherapy, that caring about what others think of her is actually holding her back. The fear of rejection is a deep core belief. Meghan opens up about her looming anxiety regarding her posts and how that holds her back from creating connections within the online space. As a business owner, you find yourself in a space where you could constantly be rejected. Especially if most of your work is in the digital space, most consumers create an opinion of you based off your content, not who you really are even if you are being your most authentic self in your posts. You're more than 15 second, 60 second reels. You CAN have both, you can care about what the people closest to you think vs. not holding yourself back on what a general population will think of you. Meghan talks about how she comes from a mindset of being "second" in business or management which can be a reflection of a self-esteem. Meghan refers to Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs and how one of the sectors focuses on "Love and Belonging," and how we all deserve and yearn for it this sense of belonging. That is what helps us to feel safe. You don't have to be someone's number two. You can take up as much space as you want. How do you be a niche of "one of one"? Welcome to Salesy with Meghan. Today, Meghan sat down to talk about why her Masterminds aren't Evergreen.Evergreen always has a launch attached to it, no matter how much someone says Evergreen is "launching but not."The keys to a successful foundation are consistent daily sales.Meghan's programs, Mission Income and Overflow are not Evergreen as you have to join them during Open Enrollment periods. The problem with Evergreen Masterminds is that the person next to you may be in a different stage of their business than you. Which is fine, but studies show if you are on the same path or similar path as the group around you, you are more likely to finish something than if you were all on a different path. This philosophy is what contributes to the bonding that happens in Mission Income, Overflow, and Inner Circle. This happens because you are in the same group from start to finish. Evergreen doesn't necessarily allow this.Sometimes Evergreen Masterminds can leave clients feeling as if they are missing something. But that's the best part about this, is that you can find something that works for you, your business and your level. And you can change your mind later, that is the beauty of trying something new. What matters is what structures and tools are helping you get to your goals.Links:InstagramLinkedinBlogIf you are struggling with signing clients on sales calls, grab the 10k sales script to help you sign clients today. Welcome to Salesy with Meghan. Today, Meghan sat down to talk about $10k months, your way.Meghan starts off with a life update, sharing the importance of needing a break as she was balancing work and grief. Immediately after Meghan dives into $10k months and doing it your way. Meghan focuses on 3 core principles to consider when wanting to make $10k months and beyond: Structure, Marketing and Sales. Structure and function is important because it requires you to think about where you are going and how you plan to get there. Begin with the end in mind. When you hit $10k months, where do you go beyond that?Sit down and really consider what the next 5 years in your business can look like and where you want it to go.Meghan talks about how outsourcing and hiring help, if and when you have the capital to do so, can really benefit your business's structure and function. The remaining two core principles are: marketing and sales.Marketing and Sales do not have to be complicated. However, they do have to be refined.Do something once and refine it every time you have a new launch. No market is too saturated, you just have to know how to grab attention and grab curiosity of your ideal client.Once you refine your structure, marketing and sales, you will be able to see how you can make $10k months happen...your way.Links:InstagramLinkedinBlogIf you are struggling with signing clients on sales calls, grab the 10k sales script to help you sign clients today. Welcome to Salesy with Meghan. Today, Meghan sat down to talk about fuck the plan and do this.Meghan focused on overplanning and action. You can plan all day long, but without action, you will get nowhere.A plan is just saying the action that you will take, but doing action is what actually sets the plan in motion.Meghan also touches on the psychological biases that can contribute to what causes you to take or not take action. However, the illusion of progress can help keep your momentum in motion. What is one step that you can do today to get you closer to your goals?Links:InstagramLinkedinBlogPeople/Things Mentioned: (only include if its a guest episode) If you are struggling with signing clients on sales calls, grab the 10k sales script to help you sign clients today. Welcome to Salesy with Meghan. Today, Meghan sat down to talk about getting beyond the day to day.The idea of planning doesn't mean that you can predict your life unfolding but what it does mean is that your goal is to get ahead. You want to use the 90-day law to your benefit. What you work on today will yield results within 90 days. You don't have to just let life come to you and pass you by. You do not have to wait for the perfect time. But you can create a plan to get you to where you want to be. The right time will never come to those who wait, but you can make a plan to get yourself to the right place.Links:InstagramLinkedinBlogIf you are struggling with signing clients on sales calls, grab the 10k sales script to help you sign clients today. Welcome to Salesy with Meghan. Today, Meghan sat down to talk about how she plans to take time off.Meghan speaks about what it means to be on sabbatical and how she prepared her business so that way when a major life event occurs, she was able to rely on her team to take time off. Sometimes you do need to drop what you are doing, and sometimes you need to take time off, but it is important to understand that as a business owner a 100% looks different every day. It is important to build a business that does not require so much of you and needing you to be online or talking to clients 100% of every day. When you properly plan and are aware of the allotted time you are giving yourself to accomplish your tasks, it allows you to tackle more tasks and in theory, be more productive. We have to be ruthless with our time as business owners, we need to expand and build our business, but it is critical to know when to put the most important thing first. When you want to take some time off, make a plan and go from there. Welcome to Salesy with Meghan. Today, Meghan sat down to talk about if you are mid-pivot.Let's say that you have had your business growing for a while but now you are at a point where you are ready to do things differently. The readiness you are feeling to make a change in your business is a reflection of where you are at as a person, because you are not the same person you were when you started. You have more experience now, you have more insights, more mistakes, more understanding of your business. Just do it. Just do it. Your identity is forever fluid, you cannot attach yourself to one identity forever, because that is just not possible. That is the beauty of creating personal brands, you get to change your brand identity as your personal identity shifts to suit who you are today so that you are more authentic in how you show up for your community. Welcome to Salesy with Meghan. Today, Meghan sat down to talk about how she is taking off almost three months this summer.Meghan expresses her vulnerability with a life update to her listeners and provides steps on how she started to prepare herself to taking time away from work. It's not about removing clients or not wanting to serve clients, but it's about shifting focus and feeling comfortable stepping away from your business when the time calls for it. And how proper planning can be used to your benefit to get you ahead in your business. The benefits of proper planning also allow you to take some time off so you can rejuvenate yourself and come back fresher for your work. You can properly set yourself up to take necessary time off without "ghosting" your business or your clients, but rather so that you can come back and serve them even better. Welcome to Salesy with Meghan. Today, Meghan sat down to talk about Recapping Q1 with COO RainMeghan recaps what Q1 looked like with her COO Rain. She spoke about what she learned in Q1, how her team made it happen.Reflecting on the first 90 days, they talked about the calculating moves that lead to a very packed but non-burning out Q1.Rain broke down how the team operates through "sprints" and how that has changed the way they go about completing their tasks. Essentially how they look at the overall week ahead of them and what can they do.Treating Thursday like it is the end of the week so by the time Friday comes, it is a chance to review the past week and planning ahead for the next week.Meghan talks about what it meant for her to shift to the concept of how much she had to do within the business, essentially, if it didn't require her face or her voice, then to allow a team member to take over the tasks for her so that way Meghan could focus less on doing everything.Allowing team members to have leadership and ownership in their tasks has helped their team to feeling safe within their roles.Operations happen out of, "not delegating tasks but delegating decisions," which contributes to the team's autonomy within their roles and tasks.Focusing on, "what are the results, what are the deliverables and what are the standards," with each task/role.The women talk about the different approaches to completed work, done is better than perfect vs. perfect is better than done.Reflecting on what worked out and what did not work out for them in Q1 and why it is important to set boundaries on what isn't working. What it means to show up for the team, and what it means to be a leader in business...removing emotions from business and how to communicate effectively. Remembering that the team's communication is for the business, it is not personal. It is all about advocating for what is best for the business, team, and customer.Meghan urges that you will grow more if your OBM is next to you, because that is what she was able to notice once she started letting Rain settle more in a COO and "boss" position (in an organizational structure sense) that allowed Rain to help Meghan to navigate and grow her business, especially over this year's Q1.Links:InstagramLinkedinBlogPeople/Things Mentioned: Rain is Meghan's COO, whom she sat down with today to recap this year's Q1. In today's Salesy episode, I talk about not teaching the "unicorn framework"I'm not going to teach you to be me, act like me or build a business like mine. Personally - it is my PET peeve when I see people who work with a coach to completely change their personality to match that coach.I've been there - I've sat on the other end of insecurity thinking that something was wrong with me, and I needed to change. I've been in the same space of coach hoping to think that they had some secret sauce. And when I stopped putting someone above me and acting like they had a secret I didn't… that is when things changed in my business. It's been almost five years, 350+ students and multiple $100k launches in my own businessAnd most of my student doesn't look alike when they sell, they find their own way to do it.Their content doesn't look like a mirror of mine, you can't look at it and say, "AHH she works with Meghan."I don't want that for you - so I don't teach that.Sales is the lifeline in your business - it bleeds into everything. It affects the prices you have, how much time you spend with people or how many times you have to follow up.It can create the confidence to raise your prices if you want to serve less clients. It could create the space to take time off if you wanted, and be able to completely unplug. There is NO business without sales but even in 2024 - I still see so many business owners who avoid it...Who OPENLY tell their clients - I hate sales, so I don't sell. But then get stuck in the trap of over marketing, hoping to sign clients, throwing offers out and not getting the results they want. So, what's different between them and my clients making $5k, $10k or even $20k months? You already know the answer - learning sales in a way that gets them results. And the result in sales is money. That is the difference of being able to look at your account, put money into your savings and be okay.Links:InstagramLinkedInBlogIf you are struggling with signing clients on sales calls, grab the 10k sales script to help you sign clients today.
