It’s really hard to run a lot of businesses at once. Find 1 thing that you’re really good at and double down on that. * *Becoming a thought leader* - become an expert in your desired subject matter. Say something unique and be authentic. Put content out there. * Don’t be the best version of someone else. Be the best version of yourself. * Become a good listener. Listen more than you speak. * Is it a good idea to work with family? * You need to be clearly focused on the right priorities and vision in order to move your business forward. * Don’t forget to focus on cashflow and revenue. * You can’t do everything on your own. In order to scale a business you need to hire good people. * Work on your business. Not just in your business. * When you’re starting out, take your lumps early and learn as much as you can. *Follow Adam* * LinkedIn ( https://www.linkedin.com/in/adammendler/ ) * Website ( https://www.adammendler.com/ ) * Instagram ( https://www.instagram.com/adammendler/ ) * Twitter ( https://twitter.com/adammendler ) * 30 Minute Mentors Podcast ( https://www.adammendler.com/podcast ) * Custom tobacco ( https://www.customtobacco.com/ ) * Beverly Hills Chairs ( https://www.beverlyhillschairs.com/ ) *Follow Jacob:* * Website ( https://www.jacob-harmon.com/ ) * LinkedIn ( https://www.linkedin.com/in/jacobmharmon/ ) * Twitter: @jacob_m_harmon ( https://twitter.com/jacob_m_harmon ) *Follow Kalob:* * LinkedIn ( https://www.linkedin.com/in/kalobvalle/ ) *Follow SuccessQuest:* * Website ( https://www.mysuccessquest.com/ ) * Blog ( https://www.mysuccessquest.com/content/blog ) * Facebook Page ( https://www.facebook.com/mysuccessquest/ ) * Community (Facebook Group) ( https://www.facebook.com/groups/successquesters/ ) * LinkedIn ( https://www.linkedin.com/company/mysuccessquest ) * Twitter: @MySuccessQuest ( https://twitter.com/MySuccessQuest ) * Instagram @MySuccessQuest ( https://www.instagram.com/mysuccessquest/ ) *Support SuccessQuest* We work incredibly hard to create our podcast, newsletter, Facebook group and more. After graduating with an engineering degree and then an MBA from Ohio State, Paul entered the management development track at Ford Motor Company in Detroit. After five years, he departed to start a staffing company with a partner. They scaled and sold the company to a publicly traded firm five years later. After a brief “retirement”, Paul began investing in real estate in 2000 to protect and grow his own wealth. He completed over 85 real estate investments and exits, appeared on HGTV’s House Hunters, rehabbed and managed dozens of rental properties, built a number of new homes, and developed a subdivision. Three successful real estate developments, including assisting with the development of a Hyatt hotel and a very successful multifamily project in 2010, convinced him of the power of commercial real estate. Paul is married with 4 children and lives in Central Virginia. *Episode highlights:* * The best way to succeed is to fail and learn from failure. * Commercial vs residential real estate investing. * True wealth = assets that produce income. * Investing vs. speculating. Investing is math. Investing is boring. But investing is predictable. * Everything has a learning curve. Take time to learn. Start small. * Look for experienced mentors and coaches. NOT “gurus” * Wealth doesn’t bring happiness. * Success is finding out why you are on the planet and then doing it. *Follow Paul* * LinkedIn ( https://www.linkedin.com/in/paul-moore-3255924/ ) * Website ( https://www.wellingscapital.com/ ) * Bigger Pockets ( https://www.biggerpockets.com/blog/contributors/paulmoore ) *Follow Jacob:* * Website ( https://www.jacob-harmon.com/ ) * LinkedIn ( https://www.linkedin.com/in/jacobmharmon/ ) * Twitter: @jacob_m_harmon ( https://twitter.com/jacob_m_harmon ) *Follow Kalob:* * LinkedIn ( https://www.linkedin.com/in/kalobvalle/ ) *Follow SuccessQuest:* * Website ( https://www.mysuccessquest.com/ ) * Blog ( https://www.mysuccessquest.com/content/blog ) * Facebook Page ( https://www.facebook.com/mysuccessquest/ ) * Community (Facebook Group) ( https://www.facebook.com/groups/successquesters/ ) * LinkedIn ( https://www.linkedin.com/company/mysuccessquest ) * Twitter: @MySuccessQuest ( https://twitter.com/MySuccessQuest ) * Instagram @MySuccessQuest ( https://www.instagram.com/mysuccessquest/ ) *Support SuccessQuest* We work incredibly hard to create our podcast, newsletter, Facebook group and more. Hayley started her entrepreneurial journey as a wedding planner, before opening a second business as well. She’s now a serial entrepreneur in the digital marketing space, and hosts her passion project, the Females On Fire podcast. Since she started out in business when she was still in college, she’s had a different business journey than most, and loves sharing her best advice for fellow entrepreneurs. More than that, she loves inspiring other women to not only succeed in business, but go after their biggest, wildest dreams and enjoys creating motivational content through various personal development platforms. Hayley isn’t your typical speaker, and takes a more comfortable approach to connecting with her audience, always focusing on keeping the energy high and even getting them on their feet. Though she identifies more as an introvert in a one-on-one setting, Hayley speaks to her audience like she’s their best girlfriend, and loves any opportunity to have fun and connect with people. *Follow Hayley* * Website ( https://hayleyluckadoo.com/ ) * Females on Fire ( https://hayleyluckadoo.com/femalesonfire ) * Pinterest ( https://www.pinterest.com/hayleyluckadoo/ ) * Facebook ( https://www.facebook.com/hayleyluckadoo ) * LinkedIn ( https://www.linkedin.com/in/hayleyluckadoo/ ) * Instagram ( https://www.instagram.com/hayleyluckadoo/ ) *Follow Jacob:* * Website ( https://www.jacob-harmon.com/ ) * LinkedIn ( https://www.linkedin.com/in/jacobmharmon/ ) * Twitter: @jacob_m_harmon ( https://twitter.com/jacob_m_harmon ) *Follow Kalob:* * LinkedIn ( https://www.linkedin.com/in/kalobvalle/ ) *Follow SuccessQuest:* * Website ( https://www.mysuccessquest.com/ ) * Blog ( https://www.mysuccessquest.com/content/blog ) * Facebook Page ( https://www.facebook.com/mysuccessquest/ ) * Community (Facebook Group) ( https://www.facebook.com/groups/successquesters/ ) * LinkedIn ( https://www.linkedin.com/company/mysuccessquest ) * Twitter: @MySuccessQuest ( https://twitter.com/MySuccessQuest ) * Instagram @MySuccessQuest ( https://www.instagram.com/mysuccessquest/ ) *Support SuccessQuest* We work incredibly hard to create our podcast, newsletter, Facebook group and more. Shelomo Solson is the founder of Teenage Impact. When you look or talk to him, he seems motivated and confident. He wasn’t always like this. Below is his condensed story – the story of an underdog. Shelomo was bullied starting in 3rd grade. He dreaded going to school for ten years because of it. He was bullied for his accent, ethnicity, religion, athleticism, weight, height, the clothes he wore, not having a girlfriend, the list can goes on. Sometimes he would come home with bruises crying. He didn’t want to defend himself or tell an adult because he was afraid of being known as a “snitch” or getting beat up harder. He made his parents not say anything. Now, Shelomo runs Teenage Impact, where he helps teenagers overcome their challenges. *Episode highlights:* * How to make money as a youth speaker * How to help teenagers with the unique problems that they face * What to do about bullies. * How to support a loved one dealing with suicide ideation * Encourage young people to dream and set goals * Plan backwards. Decide where you want to be, then make an actionable plan on how to get there step by step. * Everyone experiences setbacks and roadblocks. Instead of letting them get you down, acknowledge them and make simple adjustments to overcome them. * The best way to become good at public speaking is public speaking. *Follow Shelomo* * LinkedIn ( https://www.linkedin.com/in/shelomosolson/ ) * Website ( https://teenageimpact.com/ ) * Instagram ( https://www.instagram.com/shelomosolson/ ) * YouTube ( https://www.youtube.com/c/TeenageImpact ) * Book: Never Fight Alone ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0578762994/ref=as_li_tl?camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=0578762994&ie=UTF8&linkCode=as2&linkId=16bb517c5a1d7ed0287e0a15dc02fb12&tag=shelomo1991-20 ) *Follow Jacob:* * Website ( https://www.jacob-harmon.com/ ) * LinkedIn ( https://www.linkedin.com/in/jacobmharmon/ ) * Twitter: @jacob_m_harmon ( https://twitter.com/jacob_m_harmon ) *Follow Kalob:* * LinkedIn ( https://www.linkedin.com/in/kalobvalle/ ) *Follow SuccessQuest:* * Website ( https://www.mysuccessquest.com/ ) * Blog ( https://www.mysuccessquest.com/content/blog ) * Facebook Page ( https://www.facebook.com/mysuccessquest/ ) * Community (Facebook Group) ( https://www.facebook.com/groups/successquesters/ ) * LinkedIn ( https://www.linkedin.com/company/mysuccessquest ) * Twitter: @MySuccessQuest ( https://twitter.com/MySuccessQuest ) * Instagram @MySuccessQuest ( https://www.instagram.com/mysuccessquest/ ) *Support SuccessQuest* We work incredibly hard to create our podcast, newsletter, Facebook group and more. Today, we’re taking a break from our usual 40 minute interviews. Instead, I invite you to spend the extra time you have to sit down and gain some clarity into the steps you need to take to reach your goals. You got this!
Kalob and Adrienne Rivera discuss fitness, mindset, love, motivation, priorities, relationships and more! Adrienne is a certified personal trainer and received her degree in psychology from Virginia Tech. She helps high-performing, spiritual people like you transform their relationships with food, fitness, and their significant other so that they can create more love in their lives.Show up for yourself! When you aren’t taking care of yourself, there is a lack of love. You need to show up for yourself! There needs to be intrinsic motivation. It can’t all come from a coach. When you show up for yourself, you show those you love that you care about being around for the long haul. You deserve to show up for those you love! How to Prioritize fitnessYou DO HAVE time for fitness. You may just not be prioritizing it. You need to understand WHY you want to be fit. Fit through loveLove is essential. Fitness can be a tool to strengthen relationships. It is also important to love yourself. 1 Define your self-worth2 You then develop self-trust3 Finally you get to self-lovePositive selfishness. You need to take care of yourself first. MotivationFitness is a lifestyle.A motivator can be ego and wanting to be macho. This can be a great motivator, but a stronger motivator can be love. Being motivated by relationships is powerful. There is nothing wrong with wanting to have abs or biceps. There should be a deeper, more meaningful why, though. People say: “I want to feel better.” The problem with “better:” you can always be better. What does better look like? You need to define it. Making time for yourselfYou invest in your businessYou invest in your familyYou invest in so many things. Why are you afraid to invest in yourself? You are worthy, simply because you breath. You are successful because of who you are. Be creative! If you feel like you don’t have time because of your kids, go outside and play with your kids as a workout. Think outside of the box! Trainerize appRelationships and FitnessIt’s harder to live a fit life without the support of your partner. A way to explain why fitness is important to you and encourage them to join you on the journey. Step 1: Ask for what you want.Step 2: Explain how important it is to you.Step 3: Express appreciation. Can I do it on my own?A coach or mentor can help you get where you want to be faster. You can do it on your own, but it is harder to keep yourself accountable. Physical fitness can effect EVERY aspect of lifeThis is incredibly important because EVERY other area of life is effected by physical fitness. Jacob Harmon had the pleasure of talking with Andrew Engel, Co-founder of Venzo Group. Andrew dropped out of college to pursue his passions in life, and now runs a successful digital agency with the goal to elevate businesses and people alike. They talk about the value of college and schooling and whether or not it’s right for you. They have an insightful conversation about passion and finding your purpose in life, patience vs. complacence, delegation, culture, and more. Enjoy!Andrew’s StoryAndrew was studying medicine, but dropped out of college. He worked for BMW for a little bit. He went from a sales commission based job to a salary job. He didn’t feel fulfilled in his job… sound familiar? He took a risk and started his own company: Venzo GroupThoughts on SchoolIn some fields, like marketing, what school teaches can be antiquated. Other fields, like becoming a doctor or lawyer, school is essential. Before you start school, take a step back and figure out what you want to do with your life. Make connections! Talk to people that are in the field. Shadow people!AFTER you’ve done your research, decide if school is right for you. Making your own pathIf you want to be successful, you need to focus on you first. Zone out other people and their opinions. Pursue what makes you happy. Put off immediate gratification for the future. Put yourself in a position where you can grow. Patience Vs. ComplacenceLinkedIn post about Patience and ComplacenceAre you doing what you're doing out of patience of complacence? You have the ability to make an impact and a difference in the world!Fulfill your potential! No regrets! Take calculated risks when you can. Without risk there’s no reward. It’s okay to be patient if you have a plan. As long as the things you’re doing are working toward a greater goal, you’re good :)Do a risk assessment. It takes time to build something great. Jacob talks to Manuj Aggarwal about building businesses, mindset, anxiety, depression, and spirituality. Manuj is a successful CTO, and he's worked at large technology corporations as well as smaller technology startups. Originally from India, Manuj started his career working in a factory and making $2/day. Manuj AggarwalManuj started working in a factory making $2/day when he was 15. He wanted more, so he enrolled in a computer programing course.Since then, he’s worked at large corporations and small startups. He had a tough childhood that left a lot of scars. He turned to spirituality, and was able to help his situation. From $2/day to a successful CTOMINDSET. What do you want out of life? You don’t need to know how to get there, just know what you want. Take it one step at a time. Inches accumulate into miles.Surround yourself with good people.Fill yourself with good thoughts.Be ambitious.Don’t give up.Building a companyBusinesses revolve around revenue.Focus on revenue. Find the path of least resistance to get revenue. Find a niche that doesn’t have a lot of competition. Look for needs in the market. Find a niche that you’re passionate about. The more specific the niche the better. BootstrappingVenture capital and angel investors are becoming popular, but many successful business build slow and steady. Build your company feature by feature. Reinvest revenue and grow organically. Historically, this is how businesses have been built. Get feedback from your customers so you know you’re building something people want. When you have revenue before you raise money you have more leverage in negotiation.MindsetEntrepreneurship is about mindset. It’s not an easy road. You need to be prepared to put in a lot of work. 90% of entrepreneurship is experimentation and many fail. If you’re not careful, you’ll get fatigued mentally and spiritually. Social media gives us an incorrect view of what the world is like. Enjoy the journey :).Emotional HealthAnxiety and Depression are very common right now. Often, they originate from experiences that we’ve had. For Manuj, his anxiety came from being uncertain about what would come in the future. It can be like a fog around your mind. Seek help! Talk to someone! Peel back the layers and try to understand why you are the way you are. Try to understand your thought patterns. SpiritualityManuj grew up in India, where religion is an important part of society. Unfortunately, many religious organizations have turned spirituality into a transaction where you have to “purchase” your way to heaven. Manuj has become deeply spiritual. This week we talk to top 100 podcaster, Rom Raviv. We talk about entrepreneurship, college, podcasting, podblade, and more. Enjoy the show! Welcome to 2020! Rom’s StoryRom is 19 years old. He’s currently a sophomore in college studying digital marketingHe has a top 100 podcast called Spreading SuccessHe noticed people like Gary Vee that were creating content. His dad was an entrepreneur, but his interest in Entrepreneurship came organically watching and listening to content. He has now started a company around podcastingCreating ContentSTART as early as possible. The earlier you start, the better off you’ll be.Don’t be afraid to put yourself out there. CollegeRom was fortunate to get a full ride scholarship. College is for some people, but not for everyone. If you go to college, take advantage of clubs and networking. There are so many entrepreneurial opportunities! College is a cushion between high school and the real world. It’s a great opportunity to explore and test things out without super high stakes. PodcastingRom started his business journey with drop shipping. He went to an event and one of the speakers at the event was Casey Adams. Casey told the group that the #1 thing they should do is start a podcast. Rom immediately ordered a microphone, and made a goal to start a top 100 podcast. He made a list of the people he wanted on the podcast. Many of them have been on the show! Think of a podcast as a free mentorship call. It’s basically a FaceTime call with a microphone. Be clear on your goals. For Rom, # of listeners isn’t as important as the relationships he is making. Find something that brings VALUE and PASSION.Rom has decided not to monetize his podcast. PodbladeRom and his partner, Apple Crider, have started a professional podcast editing company. They will edit a show for $20/episode. Rom got connected with Apple, and they started talking about podcasts. Over time, Rom proved that he was serious about podcasting and improving. Eventually, Apple offered his editor to Rom. Now, they are running a full podcast editing company. Facebook CommunitiesPodcasting Community by Podblade! To grow the podblade customer base, Rom and Apple created a Facebook community for podcasters. Have you ever wanted something so bad that it’s all you could think about? Well, on this episode of SuccessQuest, Nicole Matthews will teach you how to accomplish your dreams. In fact, it’s as simple as asking :)Nicole’s StoryShe has been an entrepreneur since 2007.She was working in events and PR for a big law firm. She felt like she was in a wrong spot, and it took her 5 years to get out of her job. She started her business on the side and eventually went in full time. She founded Henley Co. They plan events and do concierge service. She’s worked 3 Olympic Games and 6 Super Bowls. Side Hustle vs. Jumping all inNicole is grateful that she spend time in corporate America for a while. You are where you are to learn the lessons you need to learn and make the connections you need to make. Because she started it as a side hustle, she was able to slowly scale her business and learn skills from her current job. How do you know when it’s time to move on?A family friend had a 14 month old almost drown. This made Nicole think about how short life is, and she didn’t want to live it with any regrets. She hadn’t planed on quitting, but one day, going into work, she felt peace and decided to quit. Benefits of eventsTechnology is amazing, and it provides opportunities to meet virtually. That said, there is still a huge benefit of meeting face to face. Don’t throw parties for the sake of parties. An event needs to be purposeful and well planed. If the event could be done virtually, maybe it should be. Do something different that makes the face-to-face connection meaningful.Struggles building a companyYou need to be brave enough to get out of what you’re not good at. Be willing to outsource work you don’t care about or aren’t good at. The whole point of doing your own thing is being free and creative. If it feels like a job, then why not stay in corporate America. Do what makes you feel fulfilled. Outsourcing & DelegationAs your business grows, you NEED to have your business continue even if YOU can’t be there. Be selective. Be clear on direction. Understand that they won’t love your business like you do. TRUST - you have to trust people to get the work done. BIG ASKBook - Permission! Stop Competing and Start Creating the Life You Want to LiveNicole loves the olympics and England. When she heard the olympics were going to be in London, she really wanted to work at the olympics. The power of a network: “Somebody I know, knows somebody that can make it happen”You have to be bold enough to ask people to help you accomplish your goals. She sent a message to her network letting people know about her goal (125 people). She got about 30 responses! She was connected with people who helped her become the account manager for the CEO of Visa Europe. She was his personal assistant for the course of the games. She had an amazing experience, and it all happened because she was willing to ask. Follow NicoleNicole’s WebsiteThe Henley CompanyPermission! Jacob talks with LinkedIn Ads expert AJ Wilcox. They talk about college, taking risks, growing and scaling a business, entrepreneurship, and how to be successful on LinkedIn. AJ’s StoryLinkedIn - A Professional social networkLinkedIn tends to be a safer social network because people’s comments are tied to their professional profile. AJ came from a conservative family and never thought he would be an entrepreneur. He has technical experience and got a degree in Marketing. After getting laid off from a job, he started thinking about creating his own company. He took the leap and decided to start his company. B2Linked has now been in business for over 5 years. Is College Worth it? You don’t necessarily need a degree to excel. If AJ were to do it again he would get a degree in information systems. Find a marketable major!College can be good for more than just the classes and course material. Taking RisksPrayer! When trying to make big decisions in life, it can help to be grounded in prayer and spirituality. It’s not easy. But it’s worth it. The first 5 months were some of the hardest times of AJ’s life. Growth, Scaling, and HiringB2Linked has grown a lot and now has 6 employees. You can do everything on your own, but you will spread yourself thin. Eventually you need to scale. AJ made the mistake of hiring two 20-hour a week interns instead of one 40-hour a week employee. It’s scary to hire people because it’s such a large expense. It’s great to support other people and their families.Entrepreneurship AdviceInvest as much time as possible in things that don’t bring immediate revenue.Don’t be afraid to work for someone else and be trained in a skill. Odille will take you on a journey to fully unlocking your brain’s potential! If you've been wondering how to overcome fears, past traumas, and overall change the way your brain works this is the podcast for YOU! Toward the end of 2015, at 51 years old, Odille was divorced, renting a room in a shared house in England, cleaning other people's houses, and still unable to pay her bills. This, after a lifetime of struggle (financial and emotional), including extraordinary failures, fibromyalgia, IBS, and suicidal plans. In 2016, not only was she able to pay her bills, but she'd also travelled to America (multiple cities) three times, Spain (twice), Ireland, and Greece (paying for her sister and son to come with her to Greece). She now lives in Peoria, Illinois (which she loves), is married to the love of her life (they met in Feb 2017), doing what she loves for a living AND - She now owns the rental properties she used to clean! What Changed:She discovered two things that helped create the success she experienced:1 - Based on the latest in neuroscience, She conditioned her brain and body, physiologically, to produce more "feel-good" chemicals like endorphins, serotonin, and oxytocin (which she then developed into a modality, and wrote a book on the topic: You Have a Superpower).Whenever you're feeling any negative emotion, your brain and body are producing stress chemicals like adrenaline and cortisol. These stress chemicals cause blood to drain from the prefrontal cortex of your brain (where you do your cognitive thinking like problem-solving, strategizing, processing information, and noticing opportunities) - so you literally can't think straight and your judgement is impaired. When you switch from stress chemicals to feel-good chemicals, blood returns to the prefrontal cortex, bringing that part of your brain back "online".So, feeling good is about more than just feeling good - it's about keeping your cognitive thinking online! ;)2 - Again, based on neuroscience, she discovered the connection between subconscious "evidence" from childhood and teenage experiences, that "proves" who we are and how the world works - and the results and struggles we experience in life as adults... and how to change it.For more on the science behind that, here's an article that sites some of the scientific references:Can We Change Adverse Childhood Memories? She and her husband created a proprietary modality: The Remmert Method - which helps people to:Gain complete control over their emotional state (and condition their brain and body to produce more "feel-good" chemicals - like you would condition your body to get fitter through an exercise program. Change the original subconscious "evidence" that is supporting the limiting subconscious beliefs ... that are creating the current resultsIt's like changing the "GPS" in your subconscious - to where you want to go, rather than leaving it on "default".For more details and information on what we do and how it works, and to see a little of what we'd be like to interview, here are some links:YouTube Videos:One Quick Tip for How to Overcome Procrastination: 4 minutesHow to Find Subconscious Money Blocks: 15 minutesA Live Demonstration of Using One of Our Techniques with a Viewer during a Facebook Live - to find a limiting subconscious money block: 25 minutesHow to Deal with Negative Thoughts: 5 minutesHow Your Subconscious is Controlling Your Emotions: 8 minutesMore Information on Childhood Memory Transformation, on our website:https://www.theremmertmethod.com/what-is-cmt.htmlFollow Jacob:WebsiteLinkedInTwitter: @jacob_m_harmonFollow Kalob:LinkedInFollow SuccessQuest:WebsiteBlogFacebook PageCommunity (Facebook Group)LinkedInTwitter: @MySuccessQuestInstagram @MySuccessQuestSupport SuccessQuestWe work incredibly hard to create our podcast, newsletter, Facebook group and more. In this episode we jump into the shoes of Lynda Sunshine West whose upbringing led to an incredible amount of fear and anxiety. Yet through those hardships she rose and became the success she is today! Listen closely and take notes! She has changed her life and soon she may change yours. Lynda’s StoryGrowing up Father her was an Alcoholic which affected the family both physically and mentally. She grew up with fears of being ridiculed, judged, and abused. At 5 years old she ran away for an entire week to escape. And when she did this... no one came to get her. Fast forward to her adult life, she married someone like her dad. She was hit once, and she got out of that relationship. She couldn't just relive the same life. After she left, she met her current husband (relationship of 31 years now). Now at 51 after hiring a life coach, she has learned to peel away the pain and traumas. Now she has re-emerged as a coach herself. She then decided to follow her passion of helping people. Jumping into business without a "net". She quit her job suddenly and out of the blue to pursue her passion. First thing, everyday she decided to face a fear for an entire year. She would wake up and find a fear first thing in the morning then faced it everyday. And she did it. For an entire YEAR. Now she has built up real solid confidence. What would you say to someone who is either being abused or dealing with hard times? Everyday was pain. Fear. No more. I don't know what you're going through personally, but there are ways out of that. But the thing you have to do is GET AWAY. Live your life with NO REGRETS. Reach out to people, even strangers, find SOMEBODY who you can talk to. You need to be HEARD. You have a decision. Lynda has always had a burning desire to do something great. But to get out of the "rut' she was in, she had to find ways to change her mindset, her pattern of behavior. "You're either interested or you're committed. A want isn't a commitment." Value Bomb! Hans Struzyna Bio:In my 30 years on this planet, I‘ve learned a few lessons that I apply to everything I do. The first is that all goals must be written down and visible on a daily basis. The second is that there’s no such thing as overnight success and consistent work is the only path to success. Finally, everything is the way it is because someone made it that way. So to understand people is to understand the world. I‘ve applied these lessons to my 12 year rowing career culminating as a member of the 2016 USA Olympic rowing team. After the Games, I had to descend from the metaphorical mountain I‘d spent years scaling and ended up feeling lost for the first few months. Searching for my next climb, I found real estate. I got my license six months later and have been pursuing all avenues of this business ever since. I‘m a Realtor Partner with a Wall Street Journal Top 100 nationally ranked team, The Gunderman Group. We focus on advocacy, risk management and exceeding our clients personal definitions of success. By staying true to those core values, we’re the top team in the East Bay of the Bay Area and sell over $180M per year (with over $1.5B sold in total) with an average price point of $1.2M. I’m also fascinated by real estate investing and completed my first flip during my first year in the business. My wife and I also invest in out-of-state multi family properties. I’m actively looking for my next few deals. I wanted to share the value of creating your own path and building a life of freedom, so I recently created a podcast called Another Way To Play. I believe that if you trade hours for dollars, you will never achieve true freedom in your life. I bring inspirational and practical content to listeners at their own personal crossroads by interviewing entrepreneurs, thought leaders and industry experts to learn how they achieved freedom in their lives. I recently got married to the love of my life, Kristin, who is also an Olympic rower and entrepreneur. She runs her own business and loves real estate investing and we are actively building what we call our “business/real estate empire.”Enjoy!Follow HansWebsiteFacebookInstagramYouTubeLinkedInFollow Jacob:WebsiteLinkedInTwitter: @jacob_m_harmonFollow Kalob:LinkedInFollow SuccessQuest:WebsiteBlogFacebook PageCommunity (Facebook Group)LinkedInTwitter: @MySuccessQuestInstagram @MySuccessQuestSupport SuccessQuestWe work incredibly hard to create our podcast, newsletter, Facebook group and more.
