Orko Eloheim and Bigg Jus are Nephlim Modulation Systems. It's been 18 years since their second album "Imperial Letters of Protection" was released and now the duo is back with some more hard truths. Dapper Dan discussed his life story, reading John Scarne books to master gambling, and turning his life around when he went to jail at a young age. He discussed studying at the Countee Cullen Library, his experience at Columbia University, and finding himself spiritually during his trips to Africa. He got into writing for 40 Acres and A Mule, warning about the gentrification coming to Harlem, and opening up Dapper Dan's Boutique in 1982. He then spoke about the Hip-Hop artists that he styled including: LLCoolJ, Eric B. & Rakim, & Boogie Down Productions, the infamous Mike Tyson Mitch Green fight that took place in his shop that would eventually get his store shut down, and having to go underground. Dapper Dan also got into designing Salma Hayek's dress for the Oscars, his Gucci partnership, and when jerseys became a huge part of the Hip-Hop culture. Millie Bobby Brown has said she wants to portray Britney Spears in the inevitable biopic about the pop superstar – but Spears is quite on board. Ye, the rapper formerly known as Kanye West, is being sued for copyright infringement over a track on his album Donda. In a filing in New York on Monday, Phase One Network – which manages the Boogie Down Productions catalogue – alleges that Ye “knowingly without a license, unlawfully copied from ‘South Bronx' when creating the track ‘Life of the Party'” and distributed it via his Stemplayer. DJ D-Nice sat down with me to talk about his fatherhood journey. He shares the values he is looking to instill into his daughters as they grow up.
