A month or so before the Tour de France, Lionel Birnie and Graham Willgoss were discussing ideas for KM0 episodes... 'How about camping on Mont Ventoux?' said Lionel. 'Yes!' said Graham. And so Lionel packed a tent, airbed and sleeping bag and decided not to book a hotel near the Giant of Provence so there could be no turning back. After picking up camping equipment for Graham at the Nîmes branch of Decathlon, they set off up the mountain to meet Simon Gill, who was in his camper van. The original plan was to camp in the forest, where other Tour spectators were setting up for the night. However, police restrictions on the crowds and vehicles meant Lionel and Graham could not risk being stuck down the mountain, 10km from the summit, on race day, so they soldier on, past Chalet-Reynard and the shelter of the tree-line and up to the bald, rocky peak. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience – as in something they will not repeat in a hurry. Unforgettable in its own way as they braved the strong winds. Who knew Ventoux could be windy? Well, the clue is in the name for a start, and remember the last time the Tour was scheduled to finish at the top of the climb, in 2016, when high winds forced the organisers to bring the line down to Chalet-Reynard? This is the story of Lionel, Graham and Simon's wild night on the mountain.

À une époque où vendre de l'art en ligne paraît insensé. Hugo ne vient pas du milieu de l'art. Il ne collectionne pas. Il veut juste résoudre un problème : l'art n'est pas accessible. Pas visible. Pas transparent. Il veut le rendre plus proche. Plus e-commerce. Plus humain.Mais il faut convaincre. Les galeries, les amateurs d'art, les fonds. Ce matin on va essayer d'y voir plus clair.Une marque incarnée, c'est quoi ?C'est une marque qui prend la parole comme une personne.Une marque qui ne parle pas au consommateur, mais à l'individu.Une marque qui s'adresse à nous d'humain à humain.Pas besoin de tutoyer. Pas besoin d'en faire trop.Il s'agit simplement d'instaurer une relation sincère. De faire passer une intention. Une émotion.Dans un monde où tout le monde crie pour exister, l'incarnation permet d'établir un lien. Un vrai.—Faire incarner le contenu par des employésC'est la forme la plus naturelle. La plus authentique aussi.On parle ici d'employee advocacy. Et ça fonctionne très bien.—Faire un casting et produire du contenu incarnéC'est ce qu'on fait parfois nous chez Supernatifs.On choisit un ou une porte-parole. Do something of value that makes others want to come to you… The story about the guy wrangling carts on a cold night at the Walmart in Ithaca, New York Nick credits a lot of his success to his parents, Tim and Susan, for raising him around a dinner table of positivity and curiosity. They made him feel as if he could accomplish anything and taught him to see the world through a lens of opportunity. Change your mind: Nick has a note taped to his mirror in the bathroom that says, “Change your mind on something today.” The most valuable trait of an entrepreneur: A sense of urgency. Most people walk slow, think slow, move slow, and make decisions slow. They lollygag around life. No energy. No excitement. Do uncomfortable things. Make the calls. Start a lawn care business if you're a kid. Decision making - You have to practice it. It's a muscle Decathlon at Cornell - Brutally hard. 10 events. You never do your best in all of them. You take L's. Have to respond and go to the next event. Struggle with grace. Ego - Need to balance belief with humility. There are two types of people in the world. Those who are humble. And those that are about to be humbled. “You're interviewing for your next job every single day.” Hiring is like hunting. Always looking. Life/Career Advice: "Don't be a doctor or a lawyer. What game are you playing? What does winning look like? Most people aren't thoughtful enough about that."
