What if managing your marketing was more like hosting a party? That's the premise behind the Party Principle, a concept Dave Charest of Constant Contact shared with me. As someone who loves both a good metaphor and a well-organized shindig, this approach clicked immediately. Social media becomes the lively main event, email is the cozy afterparty, and SMS? That's your VIP lounge, reserved for your most engaged fans. Each channel plays its role, ensuring that your marketing not only entertains but also builds genuine relationships. The Party Analogy Social media is where your audience gathers, much like guests at a bustling party. It's about meeting new people and sparking initial connections. From there, email brings a more intimate setting—your “afterparty”—where relationships deepen. SMS steps in as the exclusive VIP lounge, offering a direct, timely way to connect with your most loyal customers. Tailoring Content to Each Channel Avoid the mistake of treating all platforms the same. Just as you wouldn't serve chips at a VIP lounge, your content on social, email, and text should fit the unique strengths of each medium. Social posts can drive discovery, email builds loyalty with in-depth value, and SMS stands out for its immediacy and exclusivity. Building Relationships Gradually Transitioning your audience from one channel to the next requires intentionality. Social posts can include calls to action for email signups, offering something valuable like discounts or guides. Similarly, SMS should deliver time-sensitive, exclusive perks to make it feel special—not just another notification. Keep It Strategic Your marketing channels should complement one another. For instance, use email to share resources about a webinar, social media to create buzz, and SMS to send timely reminders. Aligning your efforts amplifies your message without overwhelming your audience. Actionable Steps: Create a Value Ladder: Start by offering engaging content on social media, followed by incentives for email signups like discounts or helpful resources. For SMS, save it for urgent, high-priority messages that your audience will appreciate. Map Your Party Flow: Think about how each channel leads naturally to the next, just as a host guides guests from appetizers to dessert. Respect Each Space: Tailor your tone and content for each channel. Give your audience a reason to engage in multiple ways, keeping their experience dynamic and rewarding. By reimagining your marketing as a well-hosted party, you'll not only draw people in but also make them want to stay. And let's be honest—who doesn't love a great party? Jean Charles Moyen and Melanie Charest are extraterrestrial contactees who also served with a joint US-French secret space program based on a large mothership called the Solaris. In this Exopolitics Today interview, they describe their respective roles in rescuing children who were abducted and were being abused on other planets and moons in Deep Underground Military Bases (DUMBs) in our solar system. Moyen and Charest describe how they rescued Corina Pataki after she had spent five years, from age 2 – 7, in a secret DUMB on Mars. Significantly, Pataki recognized Moyen and Charest when they met in Orlando, Florida, at the 2023 Galactic Spiritual Informers Connection conference, and recalled the dramatic rescue and how she was returned to the Black Sea location in Romania, where she was originally abducted at age 2. Moyen next discusses an experience where he bilocated to a large cavern under the Nazca plains of Peru, where he discovered a large space ark at the bottom of a lake. Inside the ark, there was ancient technology and writing, which he did not recognize. In an attempt to corroborate his experience, he worked with Tony Rodrigues to set up a double-blind remote viewing experiment for the space ark. After several remote viewers felt they were being blocked, one of the remote viewers, Veronica, succeeded and was able to clearly see the target, where it was located, and some of its history. It was later recognized to be a space ark. Moyen has previously described other space ark experiences and believes he has either teleported or bilocated to a total of six space arks located under Mt Fuji, Japan; the Bahamas (Atlantic Space Ark); the Giza Plateau, Egypt (under the Sphinx); Mauna Kea, Hawaii; Mt Kailash, Himalayas, and most recently Nazca, Peru. Melanie Charest was first abducted by Gray extraterrestrials in 1970 when only 4/5 years of age and was next taken to a remote military facility for an unknown period of time. She and 7-12 other children were abused by scientists and military personnel conducting medical experiments and for other sinister purposes such as a galactic slave trade, human sacrifice, religious ceremonies, adrenochrome harvesting, biological experiments, sex trade, etc. Charest asserts that children taken to the military facility were held in inhumane conditions that involved torture, injuries, and advanced healing technologies that would be used so the abusive experiments could be resumed. In 1981, she was again abducted by Gray aliens along with 12 females approximately 15-16 years of age, some of whom came from different temporal periods. She was used in genetic experiments where her eggs were harvested for creating hybrids. Charest says that she was rescued from an underground facility by her galactic family – human-looking extraterrestrials associated with the Solaris mothership that belongs to the Solar Warden Secret Space Program. She claims to have been part of one of the rescue teams for enslaved children and provided them emotional assistance. Melanie Charest is working on her first book and is a featured speaker at the Galactic Spiritual Informers Connection which will be held from September 27-29, 2024. https://www.galacticspiritualinformers.com/ --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/exopoliticstoday/support

Gabriel is an example of an individual that decided to become a champion in spite of great adversity. Champion mentality is a choice. Hope this helps, enjoy the journey.

For Andrea Charest, climbing is entwined with community. She and her husband Steve own Petra Cliffs, a climbing gym and mountaineering school in Burlington, Vermont where they also work as guides. She's volunteered much of her time over the years to Crag Vermont, a nonprofit organization dedicated to conserving, protecting and advocating for climbing access in the Green Mountain State (her's is the first face you see on the organization's website–a face that is surprisingly calm as as she reaches for a sloper high overhead). She empowers her fellow climbers to take the lead, and has a knack for enabling others to move past their perceived limitations. Earlier this year, Charest became an AMGA-certified ice climbing instructor, a hard-earned goal years in the making. In this conversation, we talk about her journey through the ice instructor exam, and how she balances business, play and parenthood. Charest shares her love for the global climbing community, her excitement around the continued growth of Petra Cliffs, and the importance of helping climbers make the transition from the gym to the crag. In the halcyon days of the early 1990s, Jim Lee's Wildstorm Studios boasted an amazing crop of young talent, but one would rise meteorically to the heights of the industry — Travis Charest. On the pod, we discuss Charest's beginnings on DC's Darkstars, his run on WildCATs with writer Alan Moore, as well as the book that cemented him one of the comic art greats, WildCATs/X-Men: The Golden Age. We end things on The Dreamshifters, which many consider to be Charest's masterpiece. Was it worth the three-year wait? Did Charest exhaust the limits of his talent working on that book?

The Conservative leadership race will be finally coming to a close on Saturday when the winner will be announced in Ottawa. The safe bet is that Pierre Poilievre will win — perhaps even on the first ballot. But what will the results mean not only for the consensus front runner, but for Jean Charest, Leslyn Lewis, Roman Baber and Scott Aitchison?Does it matter if Poilievre wins on the first ballot? What's next for Charest should he lose? What will the results mean for Lewis and the social conservative wing of the party? And did Baber and Aitchison succeed in what they set out to do by launching their long-shot candidacies? To answer these questions and lots more, I'm joined this week by Tim Powers of Summa Strategies, Chad Rogers of Crestview Strategy and Stephanie Levitz of the Toronto Star.As always, in addition to listening to the episode in your inbox, at TheWrit.ca or on podcast apps like Apple Podcasts, you can also watch this discussion on YouTube. GUEST HOST: David Menzies Jean Charest recently published an open letter in the Toronto Sun newspaper. It was addressed to: “My fellow members of the Conservative Party of Canada; Please accept this as my final pitch to those of you who have yet to cast a ballot in the leadership race.” Bottom line: there is one single solitary paragraph in Charest's open letter that I wholeheartedly agree with: “Canadians are looking for a leader who is ready to take on the responsibility of prime minister and all the responsibilities and the tough decisions that come with it.” You are indeed correct, Jean. After seven years of misery under the Trudeau Liberals, Canadians are indeed looking for a brave Prime Minister to make tough decisions in order to repair a broken and divided country. However that person is not you, Mr. Charest. GUEST: Gary Duke from Grand Prairie, Alberta, used to be a Scotiabank client… until that bank decided to, well, fire him.
Today on the Richard Syrett Show: Daniel Bordman, senior contributor for the National Telegraph discusses the Charest campaign greeting that was endorsed by Kevin O'Leary. Jonathan Kay, editor & podcaster for Quillette on his investigation into exposing the Trudeau government for funding anti-semitic racism with Canadian tax dollars. Stefan Verstappen, The Survivalist. A.J. Rice, CEO of Publius PR talks about his new book “The Woking Dead: How Society's Vogue Virus Destroys Our Culture ''. Then host of the Counter Signal Podcast, Keean Bexte brings up Trudeau sending Ministry of Climate Change agents to farmlands to test how compliant Canadians are with the starvation policy.

Episode 12 of the Late Night History podcast welcomes a true living legend: Bob Charest. Bob Charest is a distinguished member of the US Army Special Forces Regiment aka the Green Beret Hall of Fame. Charest served in the US Army between 1956 and 1981 and completed two tours during the Vietnam War; the first with Army Special Forces and the second with MACV-SOG. Charest later served with the now legendary special operations unit known as MACV-SOG. He ran recon and hatchet teams. Recon Teams typically had two Americans and four indigenous troops, while hatchet teams were much larger assault forces consisting of about 19 people. On one of these missions, Charest was nominated for the Silver Star. Although the nomination was downgraded to the Bronze Star with Valor, Bob recently received news that his "missing Silver Star" was approved and his service record corrected. In his hall of fame career, Charest also notably served two stints with a previously classified Cold War stay-behind unit in Berlin called Detachment-A. We briefly discussed this, but will do a more in-depth dive covering this unit's history in a stand-alone episode. Please visit Bob's website to learn more about Detachment-A: https://detachment-a.org Follow Late Night History on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/latenighthistory/
With returning guest Sarah Huisken of the Cult Film Collective! THE TRIPLETS OF BELLEVILLE is plot-light but craft-heavy. Its French style takes inspiration from many eras and regions of animation to build a descriptive, sometimes unsettlingly detailed picture of a fictional city and its unique inhabitants. With Sarah, we pull apart what exactly the movie is doing with its technical achievements, share our favorite bits of character-building animation, and discuss mixing discrete styles and conventions to make something that feels new.
