Love to hear from you; “Send us a Text Message”Recorded on the feast day of Saint Therese of Lisieux. Her “Little Way” of humility, confidence, and love, a path to find life, when the world feels loud, divided, and spiritually confused.Jack reads Luke 10 and takes Jesus seriously when he sends disciples out like “lambs among wolves.” To bring love and truth, and peace, into the places we live, refusing to get sidetracked, and even learning when to step back and let your peace return to you. Jack reflects on the mid-terms and names the spiritual battle head-on, including the “mystery of evil” when people can practice faith while supporting policies that harm the innocent and undermine religious freedom. Rather than getting lost in personalities or slogans, we keep it concrete with clear questions about protecting children, honoring biological reality, and choosing life.If you are seeking "the Truth of things" and want practical answers, visit Claymore Milites Christi! Subscribe, share this with a friend, and leave a review so more people can find the show.Support the show

Deuteronomy ends in a way not many stories do; with a grave, an unfinished promise, and a leader who spent forty years walking toward a land he would only ever see from a distance. In this final message of our Choose Life series, Matt asks what it means to be remembered well, and why the death of the Bible's greatest prophet is not the end of the story but the point at which God's faithfulness comes most clearly into view.

Because You Say So – I Will Choose Life “Blessed is the person who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, Nor stand in the path of sinners, Nor sit in the seat of scoffers! But his delight is in the Law of the Lord, And on His Law he meditates day and night. He will be like a tree planted by streams of water, Which yields its fruit in its season, And its leaf does not wither; And in whatever he does, he prospers. The wicked are not so, But they are like chaff which the wind blows away. Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, Nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous. For the Lord knows the way of the righteous,But the way of the wicked will perish.” Psalm 1:1-6 NASB The Choice in the garden “The Lord God commanded the man, saying, “From any tree of the garden you may freely eat; but from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for on the day that you eat from it you will certainly die.” Genesis 2:16-17 NASB The Choice for Israel “See, I have placed before you today life and happiness, and death and adversity, in that I am commanding you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in His ways and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments, so that you may live and become numerous, and that the Lord your God may bless you in the land where you are entering to take possession of it. But if your heart turns away and you will not obey, but allow yourself to be led astray and you worship other gods and serve them, I declare to you today that you will certainly perish. You will not prolong your days in the land where you are crossing the Jordan to enter and take possession of it. I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have placed before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. So choose life in order that you may live, you and your descendants, by loving the Lord your God, by obeying His voice, and by holding close to Him; for this is your life and the length of your days, so that you may live in the land which the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them.” Deuteronomy 30:15-20 NASB The Choice for us Will I choose eternal life? “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life.” John 3:16 NASB Will I daily choose the abundant life? “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came so that they would have life, and have it abundantly.” John 10:10 NASB “Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. For the gate is narrow and the way is constricted that leads to life, and there are few who find it.” Matthew 7:13-14 NASB

Every day we are faced with thousands of decisions, but the ultimate choice set before us is between life and death. In Deuteronomy 30, Moses calls God's people to a decision that goes far deeper than human willpower, it requires a complete transformation of the heart. Discover how God provides the new heart we need through Jesus Christ, empowering us to choose life, hope, and faithful obedience every single day.

The entire message of the Bible is summed up in the advice to "choose life." Further, the path to life is simple even though it is not easy. It boils down to, 'Love God and do not engage in spiritual adultery with any other gods." and "Do your best to live and organize your society according to the principles laid out in the Torah."

Parsha “Nitzavim” (Deuteronomy 29:8 through chapter 30) — contains what Mark calls the most concise ‘two-word summary’ of His Word in the Torah, “Choose Life!” But there is SO much more in this one. And, it’s a ‘double-parsha’ this week, which includes chapter 31, “Vayelekh.” It’s one of the most important, ok fundamental, er central – all of that, but perhaps the best word is ‘concise,’ paraschot in Scripture. And it combines some of the most important ‘debunking’ of Big Lies, and even the first description of one of the most important prophecies, too. Mark Call, of Shabbat Shalom Mesa fellowship, covers all of it in the Erev Shabbat reading: https://hebrewnationonline.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/09/SSM-9-4-26-Nitzavim-Vayelekh-teaching-podcast-xxx.mp3 The concept of “choose life!” is so vital to our understanding of His Instruction [or ‘torah’] that it goes way beyond just a summary, or even a ‘razor’ to “rightly divide the word.” But there is more to that in this parsha: it goes to the heart of Who the Messiah IS, and what He is NOT (a liar, who changed his word, when He said the opposite)… …it gives us the first prophetic promise of the “Greater Exodus” or regathering… …and it succinctly debunks one of the other Biggest Lies in ‘sun-god-day skool’ — that “only jesus could possibly keep ‘The LAW’ – ’cause it’s just plain too hard for the likes of you and me.'” Yahushua, the Real Messiah, said that the path that leads to Life is, “narrow, and FEW there be that find it.” [Matthew 7:13-14] Which should concern those who bought into the big lie that He somehow “did away with” what He Wrote for us, and came in the flesh to teach – correctly. The test is ‘open-Book.’ And it’s straight-forward. But we had better read what it really says. “Nitzavim-Vayelekh: Choose wisely – ‘Choose Life!’ ” https://hebrewnationonline.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/09/WT-CooH-9-5-26-Nitzavim-Vayelekh-We-STILL-HAVE-the-CHOICE-podcast-xxx.mp3 Service information: Shabbat Shalom Mesa fellowship worship services and teachings are broadcast live every Sabbath, via Paltalk. Each one of us has a choice before us: life or death, good or evil, blessing or curse. Every year, every day...really every minute!! Always. Let's finish the year strong and listen to Moshe Rabbeinu's words in this week's Torah portion, Nitzavim (always read immediately before Rosh Hashanah), spoken on the very last day of his earthly life: "See, I have placed before you today, the life and the good, the death and the evil...and you shall choose life....to love Hashem, your G-d, to listen to His voice and cleave to Him..." [Deuteronomy, chapter 30]

Crisis pregnancy centers (CPCs) are unregulated storefronts that exist as a way of pushing out anti-abortion misinformation and blocking people's access to care through deception, shame, delay, and intimidation. Tara Romano, Executive Director of Pro-Choice North Carolina, talks to us about North Carolina's CPC landscape. The term "crisis pregnancy center" refers to anti-abortion facilities that mislead, confuse, delay, misinform, and purposefully re-direct pregnant people looking for education and services, including abortion care. North Carolina has 16 abortion clinics and approximately 100 CPCs, which are typically clustered around college campuses. CPCs in the state began receiving money from the sale of “Choose Life” license plates and $350,000 from general funds in 2013. By 2023, the number was closer to $20 million. Because these are not medical centers, they do not have medical restrictions or medical privacy restrictions. Map photo citation: Swartzendruber A and Lambert D. On the final day of Moshe's life, he gathered the entire nation – men, women, children, and according to the Talmud, all souls of future Jews – to pass them through a final covenant with God. The parsha also contains the prophetic predictions of the Messianic times, and it ends with a simple, binary choice: Moshe tells the nation, “Behold I have placed before you today, the life and the good, and death and evil… Choose Life!” Moshe is 120 years old to the day. He was born on the seventh of Adar and now it is the seven of Adar 120 years later. Today is his last day before his passing and he is taking leave from the nation and handing over the reins to Joshua.– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –DONATE to TORCH: Please consider supporting the podcasts by making a donation to help fund our Jewish outreach and educational efforts at https://www.torchweb.org/support.php. Our Daily Scripture Readings and Reflection: Being pro-life is not a rejection of reason. Human knowledge helps us understand the biological reality of life in the womb, while divine wisdom reveals the immeasurable dignity and purpose God gives to every human life. Frank Pavone reflects on the relationship between human knowledge and the Wisdom of God and why both point us toward the protection of life. Faith and reason are allies in recognizing the truth about the unborn.

Sometimes one glimpse can change everything. For a woman facing an unexpected pregnancy, fear and uncertainty can make it difficult to know what comes next. But seeing her baby through an ultrasound can bring a moment of clarity—and open the door to compassionate care, practical support, and hope. Dan Steiner, Founder and President of PreBorn!, joined the show today to explain how the ministry partners with pregnancy clinics across the country to reach women facing unexpected pregnancies. PreBorn! provides ultrasound machines, training, financial support, and other resources to help local clinics serve women at a critical moment. The Power of an Ultrasound One of PreBorn!'s primary tools is remarkably simple: giving a mother the opportunity to see her baby. A gift of $28 can fund one ultrasound, $56 can fund two, and $140 can fund five. For donors with greater capacity, a $15,000 gift can help provide an ultrasound machine for a pregnancy center. According to Steiner, those machines can remain in service for years and help thousands of women. The ultrasound itself can be a powerful moment. A woman may arrive feeling pressure from a boyfriend, family member, or overwhelming circumstances. But seeing her baby's arms and legs and hearing the heartbeat can make the pregnancy suddenly feel very personal. PreBorn! says that seeing an ultrasound significantly increases the likelihood that an abortion-minded woman will choose life. The ministry then seeks to walk alongside her with compassion and practical support rather than judgment. Strengthening Local Pregnancy Centers PreBorn! generally does not operate pregnancy centers directly. Instead, it works alongside local clinics, many of which have limited staff and resources. The ministry helps provide ultrasound machines, funds individual scans, trains staff, assists with marketing and leadership, and works to increase clinic capacity. Steiner said PreBorn!'s network includes roughly 300 clinics across the United States, with an emphasis on reaching women in communities with high abortion rates. That partnership allows local ministries to focus on serving women while receiving resources they might otherwise struggle to afford. When Seeing Her Baby Changes the Story Steiner shared the story of one young mother who arrived at a pregnancy center intending to have an abortion. She already had two boys at home, her boyfriend was unsupportive, and she feared another child would make it harder to care for the children she already had. During her first ultrasound, she saw her baby and began to cry—but she still planned to proceed with an abortion. The following week, however, she returned for another ultrasound. At 11 weeks, she could see her baby moving. She also learned she was expecting a daughter. Having always wanted a girl, she decided to continue the pregnancy. Steiner pointed out that a donor funded her ultrasound—illustrating how even a relatively small gift can become part of a much larger story. More Than Meeting an Immediate Need For PreBorn!, the work does not end when a woman chooses life for her child. The ministry also wants women and families to encounter the hope of the gospel. PreBorn! trains clinic staff to share Christ when appropriate while emphasizing that those conversations should never be forced. Steiner said evangelism remains central to the ministry's mission, alongside practical care for mothers and their babies. That reflects a broader picture of Christian compassion: caring for both immediate physical needs and eternal spiritual needs while recognizing the dignity of every person made in the image of God. An Opportunity to Come Alongside Women FaithFi is partnering with PreBorn! to help fund 1,500 free ultrasounds. Every $28 funds one ultrasound, while larger gifts can provide multiple scans or even help place an ultrasound machine in a pregnancy center. According to Steiner, PreBorn!'s network saw more than 84,000 babies saved from abortion in the previous year and provided more than 136,000 ultrasound scans across the country. For Christians thinking about generosity, this is a reminder that stewardship is not simply about giving money away. It is about prayerfully using what God has entrusted to us to serve others, meet tangible needs, and point people toward the hope of Christ. What followed was a series of extraordinary encounters that led to a radical transformation through Jesus Christ.Today, Luke and his wife Jennifer, are on a very different mission. Nearly half of the world's population (c.3.88 billion people) play video games. For Gen Z and Gen Alpha, gaming isn't simply entertainment, it's where they build friendships, develop identity, and spend much of their free time. These digital worlds have become the neighborhoods of the next generation. They are also places where predators, grooming, exploitation, addiction, bullying, and other forms of harm can flourish.Luke and Jennifer are the co-founders of Haiven, a company on a mission to transform these digital spaces into places of safety, belonging, and hope. Through their work at Gravity Jack and Haiven, they are helping shape legislation, influence the future of online safety, and build AI systems that protect children while empowering healthy communities. Their vision is simple: if billions of young people are growing up in digital worlds, Christians cannot afford to ignore them. These digital spaces represent one of the largest mission fields in history, and one of the greatest opportunities to bring light into places that desperately need it.What a story! ▶️ Watch this episode on YouTube: https://youtu.be/hwz_BnJA9YkContact: luke@haiven.gg Website: https://haiven.ggX: https://x.com/haiven_ggYT: https://www.youtube.com/@Haiven-gg/Insta: https://www.instagram.com/haiven_ggTikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@haiven_ggFB: https://www.facebook.com/haiven.incLinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/107795877---

As a despairing teenager, Abraham was about to commit suicide when he heard the audible voice of God. Bihar in Northern India was known as the graveyard of missions - 90 million people fiercely resistant to the gospel. He went in obedience, and after ten years of persecution and rejection had nothing to show for it. Kidnap and murder attempts did not deter him. The second decade saw a trickle, and now several decades later it has become a flood, with numerous schools and churches planted, and thousands of lives saved. The graveyard is now a vineyard. In this episode of The Way We See It, Pastor Alex Bryant sits down with T.J. Frasier, a wife, mother, nurse, encourager, and advocate for life, for a powerful and deeply personal conversation about abortion, healing, and hope. T.J. courageously shares the story of the two abortions she had as a young woman and the lasting impact those decisions had on her life. Years later, her life was divinely disrupted when Jesus began speaking to her about the children she had lost, and everything changed. T.J. found healing when she humbled herself before the Lord, received His forgiveness, and discovered that God wanted to have a conversation centered on life, not death. Today, she boldly shares her testimony so that other women and men affected by abortion can find the same hope, healing, forgiveness, and redemption that are found only in Jesus Christ. This episode is a reminder that no wound is too deep for God's grace and no story is beyond His ability to redeem. We recorded this a few weeks before Allan died. He was both a comedian and a Baptist minister. His comedic peak was being seen by millions on Britain's Got Talent, in which Simon Cowell said he was the best audition of the series.Allan served Jesus for 42 years at the church where he came to faith, 20 of those years as pastor. It was on a tough patch, where arson, theft and smashed windows were commonplace - but amidst the mess and carnage, broken lives were being beautifully restored. This interview is holy ground as Allan reflects on life and death. He managed to release his autobiography a few months before graduating to glory, which is called ‘I didn't ask for any of this - church, comedy and cancer'. ▶️ Watch this as a video on YouTube: https://youtu.be/vrbDCUjcMk4If anyone wants to make a gift to his wife Joyce, contact me directly at inspired@greatlakesoutreach.orgWatch him on Britain's Got Talent here.---
