Welcome to Noles News Now, your home for all things Florida State this weekend. It was a busy with headlines coming from all over campus. My name is Brian Pellerin and I'll be running you through it as we kick off another week. Today is the day Link makes his return to Tally as Link Jarrett has his introductory press conference this morning at 10:30. Depending on when you listen to this, it might've already happened so check out Tomahawk nation dot com for full coverage of what the former Nole has to say about what have to assume is his dream job. We'll have a recap podcast dropping today or first thing tomorrow morning with our baseball guys as well. Jarrett is the reigning back-to-back National Coach of the Year at Notre Dame and 1994 FSU grad. Big weekend for Mike Norvell's team on the recruiting front with guys coming and going. 6 four-stars and 2 three stars all made the visit to campus this weekend. Full list and a breakdown of those guys is on our website. The big news though isn't one of those guys. Instead, it's a guy who was actually in Gainesville this weekend who committed to the Noles. Four-star 2023 offensive tackle Roderick Kearney made his intent to join the Noles known less than an hour after he finished his official visit with the Gators and their fans aren't taking it well. Billy Napier in some hot water already? We'll see. Regardless, this kid is a mauler. Big pancake guy. Very strong. Really impressive guy. He could be a guy you build your O-line around with offers from LSU, Louisville, Florida, and others. Great get by Alex Atkins as Kearney becomes the highest-rated commit in their class at No. 128 nationally. On the other end of the coin, the Noles did get a decommitment from long-time FSU commit TE Randy Pittman. He'd been part of their 2023 class since last April. The basketball program not wanting to be outshined this weekend landed a four-star commitment of their own as power forward Taylor Bowen announced he plans to join Leonard Hamilton and the guys. He's the 31st overall player in his class and the 7th best-rated power forward as well. A couple of former Noles signed to compete in the NBA's summer league after last week's draft. Malik Osborne will join the Cavs' summer league squad while Anthony Polite will join the Spurs group. The FSU softball players are also continuing to get their work in summer leagues this season. News there from our Gwyn Rhodes confirming Danielle Watson who was previously drafted to the USSSA Pride in the WPF will now be joining Athletes Unlimited championship season next month. Sydney Sherill already a member of AU and will also be part of that champion season. And finally, some track news as FSU star Trey Cunningham finished second in the Men's 110m hurdle at the USA Track and Field Outdoors and secured his spot on Team USA at the World Athletics Championship. Trey was just .05 behind first. Good luck at those championships. That'll do it for now. As always stay up to date with all our headlines, news, and notes on TomahawkNation.com. This time I'll be talking to Dani Watson about her stunning landscapes. Dani turns these photographs into artworks that capture the essence of the scene that was in front of her. Dani started out as a professional tennis coach. And it was an unintentional, somewhat accidental, career path which began with a introduction to DSLR camera course at Michael's Camera Store in Melbourne. After enrolling in a swag of new courses… over the next few weeks to learn as much as she could about photography Dani joined a few landscape photographers on a tour to the Great Ocean Road, and that really sparked the interest in Landscape photography. After a chance meeting with Ken Duncan, at the Langham Hotel, Dani decided to give up her former life as a tennis coach. Dani had a point of difference in her sporting career holding a degree, so she enrolled in a Photography degree at RMIT University. She has worked with Ken Duncan OAM as his assistant, travelled with Ray Martin has had the opportunity to learn from so many photographers who inspire her each and every day. We discuss how growing up on a farm has influenced her art, how and why she started her degree, along with a host of other topics. I hope you enjoy the show! Dr. Danielle Watson is a naturopathic doctor and the creator of The Mother Doctor. In her private practice, she treats mothers from preconception to pregnancy and through to postpartum. Dr. Watson has made it her goal to change the dynamic in healthcare so that new mothers feel supported as they navigate through their own motherhood journey. Dr. Watson is a speaker, educator, and activist for motherhood looking to spread the message that being a mom is not a diagnosis. This woman is incredibly passionate about what the current postpartum situation looks like and how we should be preparing moms in pregnancy for this postpartum phase. Dr. Danielle Watson does an incredible job of highlighting how we need to shift our planning for postpartum. This is a really important conversation that can change how women view this experience; how we can reframe this entire narrative so that the journey from preconception to pregnancy and through the postpartum phase can go from feeling very alone, isolated, and disempowered to feeling very connected, supported, and empowered. This is one of the treatments that are offered at the Poppy Clinic, you can receive it as a stand-alone treatment or as part of your holistic health care. IV stands for Intravenous. It is a 40-minute session during which you are administered a customized blend of vitamins intravenously, right into your bloodstream. The advantage of getting your vitamins this way is that the digestive tract is bypassed in order for you to absorb 100% of what you are getting, you are receiving the vitamins directly, and are able to get much higher doses of the vitamins than you would ever be able to get otherwise. Did you know that 1 of 3 people have a digestive compromise? This means that even if you are eating a great diet or taking all of your vitamins, you might not actually be digesting and absorbing everything. IV Vitamin Therapy is the treatment that helps you absorb 100% of vitamins into your system. Benefits of IV Vitamin Therapy: - Boost your immune system - Heal from chronic disease - Fight off infections - Boost your mood - Improve sleep quality - Calm your nervous system - Health optimization - Prevention of disease - Anti-aging and collagen production boost Reach out to the Poppy Clinic! Today I shared some deep conversations with Dr. Danielle Watson a naturopathic doctor and the creator of The Mother Doctor. 1. I want to share with you what I loved about our chat. 2. The value of taking 40 days after birth to rest and heal 3. It’s time to end the “suck it up” culture and step into optimizing our health 4. We are so much more than moms and we deserve to have health in mind, body and spirit. Stepping into the realness of postpartum and sharing our own experiences will create more connection because we are not meant to do this alone. Inspired by my journey with my patients & seeing that we can help with issues that stem in earlier motherhood, to prevent issues down the road. Mothers do not need to accept ill health as part of motherhood. Dr. Danielle Watson is a naturopathic doctor & creator of The Mother Doctor. In her private practice, she treats mothers from preconception to pregnancy & through to the postpartum. Dr. Watson has made it her goal to change the dynamic in healthcare so that new mothers feel supported as they navigate their motherhood journey. Dr. Watson is a speaker, educator & activist for motherhood, looking to spread the message that ‘being a mom is not a diagnosis'. Dr. Watson sees patients living in Ontario online, & in-person in Bradford & Georgina. Dr. Watson completed her Doctor of Naturopathy degree from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. Prior to that she completed her Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Wilfrid Laurier University. Today's guest joining us on the Join Up Dots podcast business interview is a lady who last appeared on the show back in April 2016, where we discussed claimed fame in a very unusual way. But most excitingly for a show like Join Up Dots she hasn't set her stall out to allow that initial success to define her but has gone on for bigger and bolder things. As the creator of the Purse Process in 2013 her new adventures started in earnest when she started the process of being a bit nosy in ladies handbags. And digging around to share how the secrets of the stuff that a lady carries around with them in their bag actually defines them. Now though her dots have taken her in quite a different direction, and she is inspiring the world by posing a big question everyday........ “I wonder what would happen if…?” She explores this question for herself, her friends, fans, and followers by trying new things. All the new things! As many new things as she can pack into a day, a week, a year. This looks like exploring new places, trying new services, discovering new products and sharing it all through in-person appearances, her multi-platform social media presence, and her IGTV show, the Danielle Daily Show. The second way is by sharing not just her adventures, victories, and triumphs but also her perseverance, determination, and grit when battling adversities like anxiety, being a natural introvert, and the grief of a devastating divorce. Although each of these very human battles has proven difficult, all have subsequently helped her to rise towards becoming the fearless, beautiful, and powerful woman she has always aspired to be. Ultimately, she inspires people with her sense of courage and playfulness coupled with a willingness to take risks, admit her mistakes, and reveal her vulnerabilities. Fans know she is a reliable source of positivity and a strong advocate for people, products, experiences, ideas, and resources she thinks are awesome. This is a lady putting herself out there in a raw and honest way that is making a difference, and I love her So why did she pivot from digging around in the handbags of the world? And how does she come up with her ideas and new adventures? Well let's find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Danielle Watson. Show Highlights How being confident in life is not something that we can carry around to every environment. It might be something that flourishes and dims throughout the day. Danielle shares how her new business grew simply from the process of digging around and trying things. She shares why she feels so many people miss out on having the amazing life because of their unwillingness to match up with others outputs. Why it is better to ask for help and support from people in your local community and close to you before ever reaching out to strangers. And lastly…….. Danielle shares deeply personal insight as to how the phrase life changing income can mean so much to many people in the world (but sometimes we forget that we are doing so well)

As the creator of the Purse Process in 2013 her new adventures started in earnest when she started the process of being a bit nosy in ladies handbags. And digging around to share how the secrets of the stuff that a lady carries around with them in their bag actually defines them. Yes as her professional bio states “You see, I'm trained in ANTHROPOLOGY and ARCHEOLOGY, but I don't much like digging in the dirt. You may have noticed everything about me has a distinctly FEMININE flair. I'm a girly girl from way back. In fact, when I was three years old I had a complete meltdown simply because my mom came home with white panties for me instead of pink. So as you might imagine, the working conditions of an archeologist doesn't exactly suit a girl like me, so I had to get creative about how I'd apply the vast amount of knowledge I spent several years, countless hours, and paid beaucoup bucks to acquire. Today on Financial Fluency I am pleased to have, for the second time, Danielle Watson, the creator of The Purse Process and the Pocket Muse, and author of the new book, Dear Self, I Love You! Keep Going!: 365 Inspiring Notes from My Bittersweet Year of Heartbreak and Healing. Danielle Watson has had a lifelong dream to be an author. In 2016 she did just that, however, the circumstances upon which she wrote her first book were nothing that she could have imagined. It was in fact, almost accidental... Flash back to 2015, a mere 48 hours prior to her departure to give a Ted Talk, Danielle received divorce papers taped to her front door. She decided to put her big girl panties on and kept going. She found a way to get the support she needed to get through that very important event in her life. A few weeks later, reality had set in, and she wondered how she was going to get through this difficult time. She did what she could to stay positive, and take care of herself. One day, on her soon-to-be ex-husband’s 40th birthday, she saw her reflection in the mirror, and realized she was still living her life, and still had a sparkle in her eyes. Her pride in herself led her to post about her feeling in Facebook, like a sticky note to self, and people started to respond to it in a big way, calling her an inspiration. As a form of self-care, she decided to write a post every day for a year. In January 2016, while revisiting one of her post from a year prior, she finally realized that her series of posts could become something more. And so was the birth of her first book, Dear Self, I Love You! Keep Going!: 365 Inspiring Notes from My Bittersweet Year of Heartbreak and Healing. Danielle shared that she has plans to create a tear away calendar, fridge magnets from the most special notes and eventually a hardcover version of her book in the near future. In addition, she plans to write a memoir of the stories behind the notes that led to the writing of this book. Danielle has closed down the Purse Process and the Pocket News, and now has a daily Facebook Live Show called The Danielle Daily, which airs every weekday at 3 p.m. EST. With the goal of helping people to think of themselves in a more positive way, attendees will find something positive, inspiring and powerful. Danielle shares her message here: Speak more kindly to yourself, love yourself, embrace life, and no matter what, keep going! In moments when life feels the hardest, there’s an easy decision to make: continue to criticize ourselves for our failings, or open ourselves to the possibility that, yeah, we’ve made (and will continue to make) mistakes, but we just might be lovable anyway. You can connect with Danielle on her website at www.Danielle-Watson.com, on Facebook at www.Facebook.com/TheDanielleDaily, on Instagram at www.Instagram.com/The_Danielle Daily and view her YouTube Channel at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCSsN9vKehyogmU2ZJrBtlNg. Danielle Watson, founder of The Purse Process talks with us about the power of taking our many, oftentimes varied selves and integrating them into one that serves the world. How can we own that space in our own unique way? Danielle is a perfect example of this – she has taken her degree in archaeology and anthropology, a successful mobile yoga business owner, and the willingness to break the mold into becoming a successful coach. Danielle shares that reintegrating our many parts into one allows us to use our skills and knowledge in an unconventional way, which we call creating Fresh Tracks. Danielle Watson is breaking down the contents of a purse into a science to help women better understand what it is they are carrying around with them at all times! Connect with Danielle Watson purseprocess.com @PurseProcess Danielle Watson has found a way to do what she wants to do and get away with it. She took her archeology and anthropology education into a different light, where she was able to get information out of women's purses. Using what she calls the "purse process" she can help women get other parts of their lives on track by going through what they are carrying around. Of course Danielle says that anyone can go through the process regardless if its your car or desk. I love minimalism, and having what you need when you need it. Especially within tools that have multiple uses, rather than are single task use tools. Episode 189
