Wrestling Legend Bob Roop is launching his very own Podcast, "The Wrestling Stoop", where he will share a lifetime of memories from throughout his storied career both in the ring, and behind the scenes. A former Collegiate Champion, a former Olympian in Greco-Roman Wrestling, a recipient of the Cauliflower Alley Club's prestigious Lou Thesz Award. Also an inductee into the Tragos/Thesz Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame (class of 2006). Not to be outdone by receiving a spot in the Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame & Museum (Class of 2019).After a stint in the U.S. Army, and leaving the amateurs, Bob went pro in 1969 and never looked back. From there Roop went on to travel the world... From Australia to Japan, Germany to Iraq, and many places in between... In this Podcast Bob hopes to share his legacy with all, in his words he wants to tell his story accurately, and completely. Then from there I'm sure we'll be diving into Jim Crockett's purchase of the TBS slot the following year, and Ole's talent (including Bob) being absorbed by JCP in 1985. All of that, plus a lot of side stories about a variety of the talent that Bob shared the locker rooms with over the years.
