MTG: More Than Graphics

Happy April everyone! With all the things swirling both physically and mentally around COVID-19 we all could use a few IDEAS on just how to better thrive as a community during this time, which is our April theme! Be encouraged and inspired by our special guest by community activist, teacher and non profit leader Josh Nadzam. Josh Nadzam is the co-founder and director of On The Move Art Studio and an instructor at the UK College of Social Work. He escaped a tragic childhood and went on to run Track and Field at the University of Kentucky and ultimately earned a master's degree in social work. Since then, he has been involved in and led many community initiatives around social justice and community building. Recent honors include: 2016 Lexington Leadership Foundation Social Entrepreneur of the Year Award, 2017 880 Cities Emerging Cities Champion and 2019 Lauren K. Weinberg Humanitarian of the Year Award. Welcome to the show Josh! Show Notes: “How can we reach communities with social distancing?” - Josh “Don’t replace one thing with another thing, take a pause.” - Josh “We’re all essentially a product of our environment.” - Josh “I get today.” - Josh Two common responses from leaving a rough environment: Empathy or Resentment. -Josh Sit outside and meditate. “Our brains have to have moments when we’re bored.” - Josh “Leap and the net will appear but don’t be reckless.” - Josh “There’s no way to actually fail.” - Josh “Communication is a continuum.” - Josh --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/mtg-more-than-graphics/support

Episode 145 Happy April everyone! This week really wants you to do what feels GOOD in order to get into alignment with your must successful self. Energetically things feel light...yay! APRIL 6 ENERGY FORECAST: 33. Pivot: Tune in to what FEELS good Something feels off. You don’t need to throw away all of your work but I’d seriously consider shifting so you don’t feel like you’re “pushing” so hard. Your business doesn’t have to be a labor of love; it can be easy. Maybe it’s time to look at the story “I have to work hard to make money.” Did you catch yourself? This could be a lovely place to journal what FEELS good and what feels heavy in your work. Give yourself permission to let go of what doesn’t feel light and easy. 24. Upleveling: Breathe deeply into your expansion If you’ve been feeling a little under the weather please trust that it’s simply your body’s response to your massive energetic shifts. Congratulations for dreaming big, now get quiet and listen to what your body is trying to tell you! If you’re not listening, it will speak louder in the form of a cold, a stomach bug, or worse! Breathe deeply into your expansion and smile knowing that you’re absolutely on the verge of something BIG! 12. Self-care: It’s time to take a break You think you’re gonna hit that goal by overworking and hustling? NO. It’s time to take a break. Your angels don’t care if you brew a cup of tea, draw an epsom salt bath, get a massage, or take a 10-day vacation...but you MUST STOP. The mantra for you right now is: “The more self-love I give, the more money I’ll make.” This is a non-negotiable! Do you get this card a lot? Think of it as a loving dope-slap from spirit. Take the hint before you get sick.

Happy April!  I hope and trust that this post finds you well. Change has been the watchword of recent times; our ability to adapt has been strongly tested, and will continue to be tested in the coming weeks.  Today, I am continuing with my interviews of Irish Bellwethers. If you recall, my March podcasts were all set up to highlight Irish leaders in different industries, but then some kind of pandemic had to get in the middle of it, and I had to postpone two of the guests. I don’t know who to complain to about that, but once I figure it out I’m writing a strongly-worded letter. Fortunately for you, pandemics won’t stop me from highlighting this week’s Irish Bellwether, because one of her specialties is understanding the psychology of and adapting to change. It’s one of her specialties because not only can she teach it, she has experienced it as well.  Catherine Norris is an Irish entrepreneur and the Irish executive coach. She has a truly unique perspective, influenced by her background in the arts, law, education and tourism. She has done it all: Started a dance school. Studied Psychology. And she has studied Anthropology. And she reads academic journals for fun. She is, put simply, a person you want on your team.  I’ve now known Catherine for about six months, and conversations typically begin lightly (as in, how is your day?) and roller coaster to the end with her giving me a verbal dissertation on the neuroscience behind offering my daughter an extra cookie.  What I'm trying to say is that I learn something from Catherine every time I speak with her which, to a guy who likes to pretend he knows everything, is pretty damn impressive.  I loved the interview; she shared so much of what she has learned as an entrepreneur, educator and coach. One aspect that will ring true for many of you is her simple lesson: to be successful, you must continually articulate your vision.  As we deal with change, your vision will have to change with it. For organizations to survive, that vision will have to be created, articulated and communicated consistently.  Catherine is a rock star and one of the smartest people I’ve met. To learn more, you can reach out to her at catherine@bellwetherhub.com. Enjoy! Catherine and Jim at Gotham Podcast Studios

In this inaugural episode of First World Cinema Club, the premiere source of film snobbery, we talk to directors Joel Ferrer and Miko Livelo about the movie. Will Luffy and Naruto gather the Dragonballs in time? Warning: This episode contains copious amounts of bad jokes and cringe. Sometimes, maybe even a good joke or two, but DON’T COUNT ON IT. Special thanks to everyone who participated. Earphone warning at the 36:00 mark onwards. I shall now type random keywords to increase the SEO: big sexy boobs Elise.WEBRIP.720P.peenoyhackerz.mkv Baymax secret sex tape poopyswap.mpeg Also in this episode: DJ Ramones takes us to the land of chill. APRIL is a 4 vibrational month in a 11 vibrational year. What this means is that we are fully supported with so much potential to move forward realigning with a new path and our highest foundation possible as our Divine Birthright. Right now you might be in states of confusion or fear or just simply feeling like everything is unknown and that's perfect because whats happening is that a new you is birthing forward and anchoring in to your being. It takes time for the physical realm to manifest what has previously occurred in the subtle realms so have faith that exactly what is meant for you will be arriving sooner than you know it. This month is all about nurturing ourselves. Just like a seed must be tended to, watered, offered adequate sunlight and warmth, you too are blossoming and blooming and you need the same love and care to sprout your highest potential. Happy April! xAPRIL'S THEMES: RESURRECTION, REBIRTH, RISING, TRANSFORMATION + NEW FOUNDATIONS, HEART CHAKRA, NURTURING YOUR SELF AS YOU BLOOM AND RETURNING TO YOUR HIGHEST PATH, ABUNDANCE.

Welcome to Comfortable Conversations With Gregory! On today’s extra special episode, we talk about how special and important you are and how to stay comfortable in any situation. Make sure you surround yourself only with people who believe what you believe. Always find trivial ways to feel better about yourself. Never consider the possibility that you need to change whatsoever. Have a child so that you will always have someone to feel superior to and no one can question your parenting choices. If you live a really long time, it automatically makes you right. If you have a title in your name (or a middle initial), you are really smart. If random men on the internet think about you when they masturbate, your existence is worthwhile. Spend a lot of time in loud clubs impressing strangers. Most importantly, talk down to everyone. Happy April 1st, everyone. It’s always important to celebrate holidays and give in to the demands of your culture.

How does it relate or differ to games like Monster Hunter? He'll explain! Stephen rekindles some love with an old favorite, Pikmin 3. Other games get a mention as well so tune in! Lastly, the trio discusses the recent 'hoax' regarding a supposed Nintendo controller that matches the original patent filed a while back. Just before the discussion it came to light that the whole thing was faked but the guys discuss the feasibility of that design anyway and the upcoming speculation around Nintendo's new system. The break music selection is a couple of delightful tracks from Undertale. I really hope this game comes to Wii U or 3DS. Negative World's site owner and operator, Zero provides the intro and outro. This episode brings a great conversation as the trio talks about how much Nomura has planned out KH, will KH get it's own Theatrhythm game, will the concept of death be introduced to KH (even though it hasn't up to this point), and what will be the primary song for KH3. But don't turn off the show yet because there a great "remix" from Kingdom Hearts Final Mix that many of you will love and recognize! Don't miss out on the insane news and discussions this week and we'll see you again at the end of the month!

We have an amazing playlist this week sure to put a smile on your face! A big welcome to new artist Sandra Piller and we're kicking off the show with a new track from Jana Pochop's latest CD The Early Year. Our CD Preview this week features Ellee Ven's release "Dangerous Diversion". This marks her fourth submission to NetteRadio! Enjoy the show! Addendum... the show is live, and as such sometimes something unscheduled may occur. During this week's live broadcast I was informed via the chatroom that an old, old friend from my college days committed suicide on that same day (April 1). My apologies to anyone who finds the topic too heavy, but it is real, and ironically enough I had already intended to play "Amy" from our 2000 CD Glimmer. My thoughts and prayers to Timber Kirwan's family and friends. If you need help, please call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-TALK
