El mundo del coworking está en constante evolución; casi cualquier ámbito es susceptible de sucumbir a los encantos del trabajo colaborativo y las nuevas corrientes laborales. Hace unos años, comenzaron a proliferar por el mundo los llamados cafés-costura. Hoy en día, ya son una modalidad de coworking, firmemente asentada, conocida como cosewing. SE OYE BARULLO EN LA SALA, CON TODO EL MUNDO HABLANDO MÓNICA ¡Equipo de “Mundo Coworking”! ¡Que vamos a empezar! ¡Un poquito de silencio! TODO EL MUNDO SE CALLA DE GOLPE MÓNICA Ay, qué obedientes… A ver, os cuento… Hoy vamos a hablar sobre el mundo de la moda y su relación con los coworkings… Y para ello, a mí se me había ocurrido hacer una introducción sobre un personaje que creo que os suena, ¿sabéis quién es Lady Gaga? VOCECITA 1 ¿La cantante? ¿La que se vestía con filetes? MÓNICA La misma… Si os parece, yo había pensado hacer una introducción con ella, así para sorprender, que se vea que este es un podcast innovador, ¿me podéis ayudar? ¿Qué sabéis de ella? VOCECITA 1 Yo sé que se llama Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, nació en 1986 y es una cantante, compositora y actriz estadounidense. VOCECITA 2 Y se la conoce por sus actuaciones poco convencionales y provocadoras y porque experimenta con lo visual. MÓNICA ¿Por qué miráis hacia abajo? ¿Lo estáis leyendo en el móvil? VOCECITA 1 No, no, que va… Es que somos… tímidos… MÓNICA Ya, bueno… Vamos al grano… Lo que os quería contar en esta introducción es algo que no todo el mundo conoce de Lady Gaga y es que detrás de su imagen se encuentra Haus of Gaga, el equipo creativo responsable de la ropa, escenografía, peluquería y maquillaje de esta artista. Entre sus creaciones se encuentra su famoso vestido de carne, una moto con un piano incorporado, un traje que hace burbujas, otro volador, una muñeca a tamaño natural de la cantante…. Y ahora, la gran pregunta, ¿os imagináis a la gente de Haus of Gaga en un coworking, diseñando y realizando toda esa locura tan espectacular? ¿Os lo imagináis? (Sonido de grillos) Eh… Sí, la respuesta es que sí… Y os cuento por qué… El mundo de la moda necesita sus propios espacios y hay coworkings especializados en ofrecer a diseñadores y sastres todo lo que necesitan: estamos hablando de los cosewings. Hace unos años, surgieron los cafés-costura que eran pequeños establecimientos donde se reunían los amantes de la aguja y el hilo, tan a gusto, para hacer sus labores mientras se tomaban un café. Sí, sí, igual que las señoras que salen al patio y están de charla mientras tricotan, cosen o hacen encaje de bolillos. Como siempre ocurre en estas historias, por allí aparecieron unos visionarios a los que no les pasó inadvertido este fenómeno y así nacieron los cosewings que conocemos hoy en día. Los primeros, como Sew Stitches, aparecieron en Estados Unidos y en Europa, los pioneros fueron los alemanes con Linkle que se fundó en Berlín en 2006. A partir de ahí, la fiebre de los cosewings se extendió por toda Europa. A primera vista, no se distinguen mucho de los coworkings al uso: cuentan con horarios amplios y flexibles, acceso a herramientas, contacto con otros coworkers, pero no nos olvidemos que están concebidos para ayudar a aquellos que emprenden en el sector de la moda. Por eso, deben contar con espacios amplios y herramientas de alto coste como mesas de corte, máquinas de coser, centros de planchado, maniquíes… Además, hay otro punto que se debe tener en cuenta: que estos profesionales necesitan un sitio donde exponer y vender sus creaciones y eso no es tan fácil, por eso, estos peculiares coworkings también ofrecen puntos de venta al público. En España, tenemos importantes cosewings… A ver, chicos, ¿os sabéis alguno? (Sonido de grillos) Vale mirar en Internet…. VOCECITA 1 Ay, ahora me viene uno a la memoria MÓNICA Claro, claro… VOCECITA 1 Muchafibra en Barcelona, que es un taller, un coworking y una academia de corte, confección y patronaje. Cuentan con un espacio de 250 metros cuadrados, con todo tipo de herramientas y recursos, para que los creativos puedan desarrollar sus ideas. VOCECITA 2 ¡Ahora me acuerdo de otro! MÓNICA Pero si estás mirando el móvil … VOCECITA 2 Es que me había llegado un WhatsApp…. En fin, yo conozco Teté Café Costura, en Madrid: es un coworking que ofrece cursos de costura, reciclaje de prendas, patronaje… Y renuevan su programación cada mes. Además, es un taller colectivo con un salón de té decorado a la antigua para estar de cháchara, trabajar y tomar algo. VOCECITA 1 ¡Lantoki en Barcelona! MÓNICA Ay, qué susto… VOCECITA 1 Perdona… es que me he acordado de verdad y me he emocionado. Es un taller para la producción textil y tienen punto de venta. Alquilan espacios y máquinas, te asesoran y realizan encargos. VOCECITA 2 ¡Up Ciclyng en Barcelona! MÓNICA Muy bien, vais cogiendo ritmillo… VOCECITA 2 Es un espacio compartido que promueve el reciclaje de ropa. Organizan también talleres para concienciar sobre la necesidad de crear una moda más sostenible. MÓNICA ¡Qué interesante! ¡Muchas gracias, compañeros! Como veis, todos estos lugares tienen en común que son espacios de trabajo colectivo donde, además, se comparte el conocimiento, ¡como en este podcast! Por algo, estamos en un coworking. Así que, Lady Gaga y compañía no tendrían ningún problema en instalarse en un coworking español para realizar sus diseños. No sé a qué está esperando esta mujer para llamarnos…
