In this special, solo episode of The Skeptical Shaman podcast, host Rachel White (of TOTEM Readings) digs a bit further into The Business of Woo: the "industry" of psychics, shamans, energy workers, and yes-- even the dreaded, mythical "life coaches".Next up on the Business of Woo myth-busting list? Sabotage! Online harassment! Intellectual property theft! Abusive clients! Para-social strangeness! Along with the new levels you reach in your Woo-based business, come along a myriad of proverbial "devils". Think Super Mario Brothers: every time you beat a level, you enter a new level with an increasingly fast and imposing Bowser.I know what you're thinking. I used to think it, too:"Who has the time to cause problems for someone with a small little business like yours?"The answer? Some people. I know. I'm just as surprised as you are. And who is usually behind the Scooby Doo mask when you pull it off? Competitors. I know. It's insane to act out of pocket and spend time or energy on a competitor. More times than not, we can all actually collaborate and help each others' Woo-based businesses. But not everybody sees it that way. And, for that matter, not everybody believes in basic civility. But never fear: new levels, new devils? Sure. But with new devils come new devil-destroying tools and tricks, and we're here to share them with you!Interested in working with Rachel in a coaching or mentoring capacity? Ever wondered what it's like once you've "made it"? Well, let me tell you...New levels, new devils, as they say
Hello there! Welcome back to another episode of Female empowered! In this week's podcast, I talked about new levels, new devils with each phase of business growth, as well as what you can expect as to revenue for each level. If you are familiar with the phrase, “More money, more problems,” businesses aren't an exception to experiencing this. Most business owners do not have the background as to understanding the phases of a business, so we sometimes think that bigger is better.Bigger Is Not Always Better – It Comes With More ExpensesBusiness owners need to understand that the bigger they are, the more people on their team are, and the more clients they have, they must have the systems and infrastructure to sustain that business growth. So, if you want to be bringing in more revenue and be profitable at the same time, you have to have a container that can sustain that growth.Let's talk about: · More money, more problems· Bigger is not always better – it comes with more expenses· Having a container to sustain that growth· What happens at each different level of business growth· The first level or phase of business – Ideation· The second level or phase of business – Infancy· Infancy stage is when we have more time for our business than money· Infancy stage is when business owners do everything on their own· The third level or phase of business – Adolescence· Adolescence stage is when business owners get more help· Most business owners don't have systems in place during the adolescence stage· Managing and leading a team have different sets of skills than treating patients, leading a class· Jumping right back to the role of a technician in the adolescence stage· Adolescence stage is where most business owners get stuck· Do you scale back or do you continue to grow· The fourth level or phase of business – Maturity· To be in the maturity stage, you have to have a clearly defined mission, vision, and values· Not all business owners want to be at the maturity stage but must still have the maturity mindset· Having systems and processes and not feeling burnout is sustainable· Deciding where you want to be in your business· Time must equal equity and later equal freedom· Where I am now in my business· The resources I have for you to help you in your business· Leaving the survival mode – how I can help youIf you are interested in checking out my Female CEO Summit, it is now open for enrollment. “Before you face the next boss battle, you need to level up.” But what if we interchanged some words in that expression and saw it this way too:The more you level up, the newer and the more challenging your problems, obstacles, and boss battles will be.A small tweak like that can make room for a great mindset shift. But don't get me wrong, this episode isn't about complaining, romanticizing, or being afraid of the problems that are in our way. Rather, it's about turning the reality that problems will arrive into empowering thoughts to keep pushing through. In this episode, I also share a bit more of what I've actually been going through since 2022 started. Working out:To make gains lift heavier which takes mindset (as well as the discipline of going to the gym every single day). However be nice for yourself, adjust to your situation (80% on a bad day is better than nothing).3. PyBites / getting out there:We wrote last week that every developer needs to build up their body of content. We started doing this with our blog and doing the #100DaysOfCode challenge, then building courses / our platform and ultimately becoming coaches.Every step there were new problems and things we needed to learn (and it never stops).Lot of fear, imposter syndrome we had to conquer along the way.For example getting over hearing your own recorded voice, getting on camera, these are now new "normals" which we could not foresee when we started. So the main takeaway: look for new levels, take things head-on, remember that the pain is temporary and you'll look back realizing there was not that much magic. Then repeat. We hope this inspires you to keep challenging yourself continuously, because it's one of the best feelings in life. What we're reading:Bob: Jake VanderPlas' Python Data Science Handbook which you can read online (thanks Jake!)Julian: The Memory Booster Workbook. If you want to be challenged in order to grow as a Python developer, pursuing better career opportunities, come talk to us. We have helped many people achieve those goals and we would love to see you be our next success story.Book a call here: https://pybit.es/apply Thanks for listening and see you in the next episode.

Today's episode talks all about leveling up when the little devil on your shoulder is trying to keep you at average.
Every new level you go up to in life you should already know there will be new devils (problems). That's what we call the Force of Average. And you have the power to over come the FOA! Don't forget to subscribe, review and share! Instagram: @PrimeTimeLiving

This week we are in the holiday spirit and are going to gift you two episodes lol. You all have been giving us amazing feedback about the Pass Da Word section so we thought it was important to share this powerful message. Proverbs 13: 14 Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy. Reminder: Don’t harden your heart, and in order to unlock new levels of your success and growth you have to forgive and ask for forgiveness.
We have been surrounded by Christians and leaders that have forgotten the breakthrough FASTING brings about. That is changing NOW.
Feeling like you are working your butt off only for someone or something attempt to ruin it? Yes, us too. Check out in this episode why that is and how you can use some of the tools I have to get you passed the moment and propel you into the next chapter. ______________________________________ Instagram: @journeywithjahaira Have Questions?? Today’s guest is accomplished actress Lana Young. You may have seen her on TV in any number of roles from Greenleaf, Dynasty and Law & Order, to Ambitions, Southpaw, or Blindspot just to highlight a few. The silver screen is one of the toughest industries to survive and thrive in as a career, so Lana has definitely earned her stripes and learned a thing or two that we can glean from. Here are some of the valuable lessons we learn from her story.First, sometimes we have to prove to ourselves that we are capable of doing anything that we put our minds to. Lana kicked off her acting career doing a one-woman show in a language that she didn’t speak, with an accent she had to learn. This was her most challenging role ever but solidified her own beliefs in what she could do and set her on a path that would lead to a very successful career. Second, in a world that is very competitive, we need to focus our efforts on only being better than our former selves. We can find comparisons and justification outside of ourselves, but our biggest validation needs to come from within. Of course, we are human, and having the support of loved ones is always a benefit to any journey. But ultimately, you want to be your own judge. Third, what is too much for you? While molding her career as an artist Lana found herself working for free to build a reputation, draft her resume and learn the ropes, prior to landing paid gigs. These are examples of sacrifices that we have to be willing to make to take us where we want to go. You cannot do what everyone does and hope that it will take you somewhere different. Each level of accomplishment that you obtain as you evolve to another space, you will find there is a new challenge to overcome. Forth, learning to have a healthy and sustainable perspective for when you are not receiving the blessings you expect, is paramount. If you open your mind to receiving the wins, you attract more wins into your life. Your expectations become your reality and you have to think, believe, and feel that you are capable and will receive success. Fifth, just because this is not your time at this moment, doesn’t mean that your moment isn’t coming. As cliché as it sounds, everything happens when it is time and often, we need to learn, grow, or prepare better in order to be ready to receive the things that are coming our way. When we are ready to receive them, only then will they manifest. Sixth, we need to learn to look for the signs, listen to your gut, follow the breadcrumbs that are leading to your destination. We also need to appreciate the fact that there are valleys and peaks on the journey which must be traveled in order to get to your destination. We can get blinded by the tunnel vision of how a situation is directly or immediately affect us, however, we have to know that there is more around the corner and over the bend that we are not aware of. We are getting what is meant for us one way or the other, and if we spend time in the now, living in and appreciating the moment, we would be less worried about what the future holds.Lastly, we must not allow our lives to be dictated by our fears or the fears of others. Fear creates blockages in our path which prevents us from growing and pursuing our passions. Know that success is not a straight line from A to B. We have to be willing to fall down or fall short to move ahead, and when we accept that, we can move on and appreciate the prizes on the other side. I encourage you to pursue your passions, make steps towards your dreams, and live your life every day walking positively in your purpose. I am your midlife maven Nina Danilee. Quote of the Day..."The whole secret of a successful life is to find out what is one's destiny to do, and then do it." - Henry FordNo one gets to live his or her dream without other people trying to turn it into a nightmare. When you live out your calling, you will always face criticism from people who have given up on theirs.People will oppose you if you're on the right track. We tend to ask, what did I do wrong? But the better question would be, what did I do right?

Tracy O’Malley and I dive deep into the philosophy of giving the “little girl” or “little boy” inside of us a chance to tell their story. We get real about the difficulties of the deep inner coaching work we both offer, which helps you learn how to change your personal lifestyle and make a choice to grow and be better everyday. We both emphasize the necessity of going through each layer of your inner self to get to the root issues that are affecting your life. Sometimes we start the work and try to move on, and then something stops us, and we say “F*ck! Haven’t I already healed this?!”. We talk about how you can move forward and make daily, positive choices, no matter your circumstance. Tracy is an addiction recovery coach and self-proclaimed ”control freak." She opens up about how her need for control almost kept her from a life changing, national exposure opportunity. This is a MUST listen.
