How Boudoir Photography Differs From Other Styles - Episode 91 of the Sustainable Freedom with Boudoir Photography Podcast with Tracy Lynn! 10 Reasons Why You Need to Run Your Boudoir Photography Business Differently From Other Photographers. I LOVE being a boudoir photographer but I have to be honest. This industry does come with a little bit of stigma. When I first started out, I was judged a lot by people who knew me, and people who didn't, about the work I did. I wasn't taken very seriously…until people saw the money I was bringing in from it. Here's the thing — boudoir is ART. And people are willing to pay for that art. A lot of people can't see past their own judgments to realize that, though. And as a boudoir photographer yourself, I KNOW you understand! You've likely ran into the same situation plenty of times. Boudoir photographers don't often get taken as seriously as other photographers do. But that's not the only way a boudoir photography business differs from other styles of photography. There are LOADS more where that came from! So in this episode, we're going to be talking about ten of them. #boudoirphotographer #boudoir #boudoirphotographytips RESOURCES MENTIONED IN THIS EPISODE: The Boudoir Album: https://theboudoiralbum.com/ Graphistudio: https://www.graphistudio.com/en/ White House Custom Color: https://www.whcc.com/ Join my email list for more photography tips and tricks: https://rebrand.ly/tlcnewsletter Watch my FREE Masterclass to learn how to book out your photography schedule! https://tracylynncoaching.com/booked-out-photographer-registration/

Is conflict destroying relationships in your community? Are offenses creating division? Feeling at a loss as a leader? What if I told you there is a way to grow through conflict rather than be destroyed by it. Conflict is inevitable whenever humans are in communion together. However, it can be an opportunity for growth rather than a cause for division. While it is not easy, by following God's principles, it is possible to find a way through conflict and experience God's blessing. Why do you need a conflict policy? 1. Conflict is inevitable. James 3:16 For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there will be disorder . . . James 4:1 What causes quarrels and causes fights among you? You desire and do not have . . . you covet and you do not obtain. 2. Preparation is necessary. Don't want to be caught unprepared. Just when you think all is well, something will come up. 3. The Word is your guide, especially when emotions are high. Emotions can be unreliable. 4. The process is clear. Everyone knows what to expect when conflict happens. Policy should have clear steps to follow. 5. Resolution is possible. Set your community up for success. Christ's Example of Humility Philippians 2:1-7 2 Therefore if there is any [a]consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, 2 fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. 3 Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. 4 Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others. 5 Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus,[a] 6 who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped,[b] 7 but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant,[c] being born in the likeness of men. When students are in upper elementary, we often assume that they're ready for more complex literacy skills, and therefore, we have higher expectations of them. However, that theory is completely false. I know when I was in the classroom, I thought that having my students write 5 paragraph essays was a sign they were excelling in writing. But what my students really needed was more foundational work. Today's episode is the first of a four-week series on sentences, where I'm sharing 5 reasons why spending more time on sentence-level instruction benefits your students.
