Seemed like a good moment to salute the city of LA, a city I never thought I'd end up residing in as a kid but where I now live and don't plan on leaving. A huge city, where horrible fires and climate change have destroyed the homes of thousands of people including some of those featured on this mix. If you are looking to support folks in need, check out: mutualaidla.org/ I recorded this mix live on Twitch, totally unplanned and a bit rough but fun, might try and do that more often this year? We'll see. Thanks as always for tuning in! Tracklist: Elusive ft. Aceyalone, will.i.am, People Under the Stairs, Warren G, Warren G, Vooodu ft. Meen Green, Funkdoobiest ft. Cypress Hill, Kankick, Lootpack, Snoop Dogg, Abstract Tribe Unique, MC Eiht, Pharcyde, Georgia Anne Muldrow, Phoenix Orion, MURS, DJ Quik, Warren G, Alkaholiks, Yo-Yo, Madlib, T-Love ft. Chali2na, Haiku D'Etat, Medusa

"Pojechałem do Londynu zarabiać. Wtedy wyszła nasza płyta Wychowanie. Wtedy miała niezły nakład. To moja żona kupiła za to łóżko i wózek". Muniek zaznaczył, że kiedy stuknęła mu 60-siątka mocno to przeżył. Pojechał do mamy, żeby się wyżalić. Wylew, którego doznał kilka lat temu mocno zmienił jego życie. Muzyk przyznał, że w efekcie wrócił do podróżowania komunikacją miejską.

Playlist:Foxy Brown - “(Holy Matrimony) Letter To The Firm”Passion - “Where I'm From”Charlie Baltimore - “Stand Up” ft. We had the pleasure of interviewing Quarters Of Change over Zoom video.Buzzy rock quartet Quarters Of Change release their new single + video “Chloe”. The catchy track features crooning vocals and an infectious guitar riff, complete with a tangible energy that demands listeners undivided attention. The cinematic visual showcases the group's undeniable stage presence. Previous single ”T Love” further showcased the group's relatability, capturing the feeling of falling in love with a person who is just out of reach. With the streets of New York City as the backdrop, Quarters of Change took fans on a journey through their hometown. “T Love” came off the back of “Jaded”, the band's first release off of their forthcoming album, out this Spring. The track quickly went viral on TikTok, leading to a 200% increase in daily streams. As another exciting piece of the Quarters Of Change story, the band's original song “Mr. Wallace”, was recently used as the end title to all 6 episodes of Race: Bubba Wallace, out now on Netflix.About Quarters of Change:Quarters of Change is the Lower-East-Side quartet leading the charge on New York City's rock resurgence, and redefining what it means to be a rock star.Composed of Ben Acker, Attila Anrather, Jasper Harris, and Ben Roter, Quarters of Change started in 2017 as a high school cover band, performing iconic rock songs of the 90s and 00s. It wasn't until their junior year that they began writing original material, pulling influence from groups like The Strokes and Rage Against The Machine, and creating their own original sound. Within a year, the band had signed a deal with Elektra Music Group/300 Entertainment, released streaming favorites like “Kiwi," and played sold out shows at renown venues like Bowery Ballroom and Webster Hall. Now, armed with a record deal and an undeniable slew of songs, Quarters of Change is poised to be alternative rock's next big thing. Keep an eye out for their self-written debut LP, Into The Rift, with contributions from legendary producer Tom Lord-Alge, coming Spring 2022.We want to hear from you! We're back after a long hiatus, and we hit the ground running! The lads discuss Netflix's dating show Sexy Beasts, the show about personality, not looks (spoiler alert: NOT!). The Quig and T-Love were also intimidated by AA's fashion choice, and reacted as all haters do. And, of course, the tangents were there as well, and we touched upon Jeffrey Toobin, Loki (of Disney+ fame), and others. And most importantly, the lads reviewed Summer Pale Ale, a 5.2% ABV, 32 IBU pale ale by the fine folks from the Bronx Brewery. So, pick up a Summer Pale Ale, download our show, and enjoy! Cheers!!!
What do Melty & T LOVE driving each other crazy about? We call them “couple nuances.”

Happy 2021! For our first episode of the new year (Episode 90), we decided to talk about the MCU's new foray into TV, namely WandaVision (which you can watch on Disney+). Needless to say, our deep, philosophical, and highly expert analyses shed new light on not just WandaVision, but the inner workings of the universe itself. And in honor of WandaVision, the lads have concocted their own WandaVision-inspired cocktails to sample and evaluate during the podcast. Also, the Quig reveals a side of him that neither AA, nor T-Love expected. So, tune in, mix a cocktail, and enjoy kick off 2021 with this gem. Cheers!!!

It's Episode 87, and it's just in time for Election Day in the U.S.! The lads dive deep into the Borat Subsequent Moviefilm (spoiler alerts), disruptive theater and movie theater attendees, go off on crazy tangents, and indulge themselves with Elijah Craig Small Batch 1789, a Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey (47% ABV), by the Elijah Craig Distillery Co., out of Bardstown, Kentucky. Some of the lads might have even indulged a bit too much (we're not gonna name any names, but the initials of the person we're thinking of is T-Love). Anyway, tune in, especially if you are on a voting line that will take time, cause this is a 3 hour marathon! And, as always, cheers!!!

After a really long break, we're back with Episode 69!!! And it is the appropriately numbered episode, being that we review the collegiate horror film known as Haunting On Fraternity Row. The Quig, for the sake of bringing himself closer to our audience, approached the review in a novel way. We delve into the creation of this movie and conclude that maybe a major telecomm giant is the monetary backer here, touch on 7-Eleven hot dogs, and sample Grand Cru, a 10% ABV Belgian Golden Ale by BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse. And, T-Love does a shameless plug for appearing in Sunny Patwalia's video for the song No Entry (1.3 million views!! ). Tune in, and get the details! Cheers!!!

Truth and love must come together on this subject. In fact if "truth" isn't spoken, IT ISN'T LOVE. But truth can be spoken in a very unloving way. We must embrace truth and bathe it in love.
On this episode of The AIE Podcast... (T) I see babies! (M) AIE Celebrates its eighth year of existence (T): Love is in the air (M) We have a question of the week! This isMkallah- and there is some anniversary cake in the guild kitchen. And right over there, we have Tetsemi (Catch Phrase here ). This week we are joined by our amazingly special guests - Stigg and Ralff, who are here to talk to us about AIE's 8th Anniversary! Welcome! Ok, we'll be digging into our big anniversary show shortly, but first, let's cover this week's news... AIE NEWS (T)- Huge Congrats to Alachaas and Leontine on the birth of their level 1 human, Aria Rose. Daddy is a Tank, Mommy is a Hunter- word has it, sweet little Aria will be getting her account soon and will learn to heal so they can LFG as a family. Shadow Priest was mentioned, but we'll see how that works out for them. (M) - AIE is also celebrating as it's our 8 year anniversary. If you want to share your history with AIE, the is a google doc linked in the show notes and on the forums. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1mlRhV-ZZWEUHrUoBWFTiF-EYccBevfB0FJTW5N9cuVs/viewform AIE in WoW had two weekend events to honor this momentous occasion: The ever lovely Nevermore held an in game Meet and Greet event yesterday, to celebrate Valentines day and the Love of AIE! It was a massive success, and an impromptu Warcraft Trivial Pursuit game broke out. http://forum.myextralife.com/topic/55727-valentines-day-meet-greet-event/ And today, to share the love of PVP, Sparrow and crew ran an assault on Ashran with a might, fury and humor seldom seen on the field of battle. This event ran from 2-6 server time, and feedback from twitter indicates that this was an event enjoyed by all! http://forum.myextralife.com/topic/55708-bloody-valentine-event-pvp/ (T) - In February 2007, Alea Iacta Est was formed by the creators and fans of several popular podcasts (a guy you may of heard of, Scott Johnston/Gerp -guy from The Instance and ELR, Randy/ Maui from the Instance, Veronica- Winema from Buzz out Loud, and Mahalo Daily, Len from Jawbone Radio, and the crew from WoW Addons. AIE has gone through a few iterations- initially, the name of the guild was I Eat Babies, but that was quickly changed due to it not being family friendly- and Alea Iacta Est- Latin for “the Die has been Cast” was chosen as the new name. Before the start of Cataclysm, we were the largest guild in North America, though due to guild caps placed by Blizzard, we had to break into much smaller co-guilds. We are so large, we have 11 co-guilds, all bound together by the Greenwall created by our own robot and master planner, Stigg. And with that, let's get to Ralff and Stigg and talk about AIE in the past, present and future ... GAME NEWS Interiew/Discussion Mkallah- Ralff and Stigg, thanks so much for joining us. Both of you have been in AIE for a long time, and have been a huge factor in our community - what brought you to AIE originally? (Once they are done, the hosts can go around and answer the same topic) Tetsemi - Due to our sheer number, AIE tends to be forced to create our own solutions to problems that Blizzard never anticipated - in fact, there are times that we have our own trending topic on Twitter, #AIIEproblems! Can you guys give us some insight on how we go about creating new tools, especially for AIE? What sort of iterative process do you go through from problem identification to solution and creation? Mkallah- The fact that AIE is active, in and out of game, is a big part of our culture - Stigg - what was your first real life AIE event and your most memorable? This Hip-Hop collective has been in existence since 1994, Get Open was founded by SibaGiba when he was studying music at SUNY Purchase College. He met the other 4 original members in school; Kiambu, VonMeista, Zook, Los and DJ Jes Lover. Get Open has traveled and performed as headliners in Germany and France over the years and has also opened for artists such as KRS 1/BDP, De La Soul, Jungle Brothers, Tha Alkoholiks, Special Ed, and many others in the US. Through a collaboration with composer Saundi Wilson who also attended Purchase, Get Open was featured with the late Jazz Trumpeter Lester Bowie's creation: Hip-Hop Feel-Harmonic orchestra in 1995, which assembled more than 40 musicians and Get Open. During our senior year, 1996, we released our first 12inch vinyl single. It caught the attention of West coasts DJs like J.Rocc, DJ Numark,Truly Odd, Peanut Butter Wolf and T-Love the MC and journalist at URB magazine. From that single, Yellow Productions offered the group an EP deal which went on to sell 5,000 units in Europe without any promo. It featured Sadat X of Brand Nubian. During this time, Siba was enjoying great success after producing for Everlast's (House of Pain) multi platinum and grammy nominated album "Whitey Ford Sings The Blues". Overtime Records Inc was born and released a solo 12 inch single of VonMeista featuring Sadat X in association with Ozone Music (Co-Flow-El P, Mike Ladd, etc…). Although still making music seperately, the group has been on a hiatus since 2001. Siba formed Brüknahm with Mr Saundi Wilson, worked the Jettsonz Productions (Nina Sky, Sean Paul) and in 2009 co-founded a non-profit organization, the Hip-Hop Loves Foundation.
