Brock and Salk both go through the weekend of Mariners baseball and discuss how crucial Julio Rodriguez's home run on Sunday was. They then chalk up what they learned about the Mariners through four early games. In Blue 88, topics include a spring number Brock saw over the weekend regarding the Seahawks, what he took away from a conversation with Tom Cable and who ranked No. 16 on his Top 15 NFL Draft profiles list.
What would you do in the face of a very public and shocking defeat? Would you crumble, or would you use it to grow and learn? Today's guest chose growth, transforming one of the most heart-wrenching moments in NFL history into a profound learning experience. In this episode, I'm thrilled to introduce a friend and former colleague from my time with the Seattle Seahawks — the exceptional Tom Cable.Tom's coaching journey includes three years as an NFL Head Coach and seven years as an Assistant Head Coach, including two Super Bowl appearances with the Seattle Seahawks – one where the Seahawks won in 2014 (against the Denver Broncos), and one where they lost in dramatic fashion in 2015 (against the New England Patriots). We cover that loss – and the ramifications of it – in depth in this conversation. With over 35 years of coaching experience, Tom has left an indelible mark on both collegiate and NFL levels. His expertise is with the Offensive Line, but his influence goes way beyond X's and O's; he's a teacher, as all great coaches are, a co-creator of cultures, and a problem solver who challenges players and organizations to be honest in their approach toward mastery. Now, this is a special episode – not only do we get to dive into Tom's stories & insights, but in the second half of the conversation, Tom and I get to wrestle with some of YOUR questions around coaching and leadership. We set up a call-in phone number, and you all left some great questions for us to tackle. We cover: the mindset required to adjust when things don't go according to plan, how to build a trusting environment, personal stories from our time together with the Seahawks (including a never heard before breakdown of the infamous goal-line call, that cost us the win in our second superbowl), and so much more. This conversation serves as a reminder that success is not solely defined by championships, but by the growth, support, and love shared along the path. With fire,MG-----WATCH this episode on our YouTube channel.Connect with us on our Instagram. For more information and shownotes from every episode, head to findingmastery.com.To check out our exclusive sponsor deals and discounts CLICK HERESee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
Tom Cable has coched football at every level; High School, College and Professional over the past 30+ years. What was it that allowed him to have continued success and rock solid relationships with his players? Love. Whether you are a business owner or a peewee coach, respect is earned and players and employees will go much harder for those that they respect and love. How is it that you go about that though when it's much easier said than done? In this episode you'll not only learn what it's like to be at the highest of highs (such as winning a Super Bowl) but also the dark valley after a gut-wrenching loss as well as what it takes to get your team to truly buy into your vision and execute at a level of mastery. Make sure to tune into the "Finding Mastery Podcast" coming out on Nov 22 if you loved hearing from Coach Tom Cable!

The Autumn Windbags: The Best Las Vegas Raiders Podcast Ever!
Welcome to episode 158 of The Autumn Windbags! This is the first full week with no NFL with the Super Bowl in the rear view mirror. So the question of the day is, what did you do with your first full weekend with NFL? The guys discuss XFL, old school football and Soto waiting four hours for cotton candy. Raiders general manager Dave Ziegler went on @BussinWithTheBoys to discuss multiple things. The big takeaway was Dave Ziegler saying, "... it doesn't mean we're going to have an immediate answer this year (at quarterback." The Windbags discuss if the draft will help, are the Raiders headed to quarterback purgatory and what we can learn from last season. Guest Marcus Johnson from @tapedontlie joined the Windbags! MJ addressed on what Derek Carr did and didn't do well last season and why Derek Carr and Josh McDaniels is a marriage that clearly doesn't work. Marcus Johnson discusses what future for the Raiders at quarterback will look like. The key is going young and keeping NFL Pro Bowl quarterback Davante Adams healthy. Dave Zielger is very good at predicting how a draft will play out so going young is important. Soto asks MJ about Ohio State quarterback CJ Stroud and Florida quarterback Anthony Richardson. MJ discusses CJ Stroud's ceiling. MJ believes he's a quality quarterback but is his ceiling as high as other prospects? MJ also addresses how much Davante Adams can bring the best out of Anthony Richardson. In free agent quarterbacks, Marcus Johnson discusses the possibilities of Jarret Stidham, Aaron Rodgers and Jimmy Garoppolo at quarterback. Between Davante Adams, Darren Waller, Hunter Renfrow and Josh Jacobs, how do the raiders skill players fit into a pending quarterback. Marcus Johnson thinks the Raiders offensive line can be good this season. He questions Dylan Parham moving around at the line. Andre James at center is still weird. Tom Cable ruined so many things on the line especially Alex Leatherwood. Derek Carr is projected to go to the Jets, Saints or Panthers. MJ thinks he belongs with the Panthers. In What Up, Windbags, the guys look at Mac Jones, Rex Ryan as defensive coordinator and why would Jimmy Garoppolo come to the Raiders? 0:00 Intro 1:05 Question of the Day 7:36 Dave Ziegler on Quarterbacks 23:33 Marcus Johnson from @tapedontlie 25:12 MJ on Derek Carr and Josh McDaniels Last Season 28:16 MJ on Raiders Quarterback Future 34:05 MJ on CJ Stroud and Anthony Richardson 36:11 MJ on will CJ Stroud fall to the Raiders 40:34 MJ on Anthony Richardson with Davante Adams 44:26 MJ on Raiders QB in Free Agency 48:54 MJ on Raiders Skill Players 55:42 MJ on Offensive Line 1:00:39 MJ on Derek Carr's Future 1:10:53 What Up, Windbags You know you want more: https://linktr.ee/TheAutumnWindbags

Zack is BACK! After getting accused by his ex-girlfriend of sleeping with his mom's best friend, Zach Wilson is back on social media. The Jets are going 17-0. Former first pick overall and one of the biggest NFL draft busts of all-time, JaMarcus Russell spoke with @The Pivot Podcast . Russell blasted the Raiders, accusing them of setting him up for failure. He did not deny the blank tape accusation but still pinned all the blame on the Raiders, the front office and coaching staff. He specifically went after head coach Tom Cable. Maxx Crosby went on with @Bruce Buffer and discussed a ton of stuff. He specifically talked about new head coach Josh McDaniels and about Josh McDaniels' offensive scheme. Crosby also talked about how much the core of the team, led by Derek Carr, Hunter Renfrow and Denzel Perryman, really got the team to succeed down the stretch. Crosby also discussed the new editions to the team: Davante Adams and Chandler Jones. ESPN ranked the top quarterbacks ranked by an assortment of NFL executives, coaches and players. Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr made the Honorable Mentions list. ESPN had plenty of nice things to say about him but one executive said he "lacks toughness." Ndamukong Suh is back in the news again. Suh has been tied to the Las Vegas Raiders and Minnesota Vikings but a new report says the Cleveland Browns are back in the mix. While another report says the Browns are not. The Las Vegas Raiders have a new team president. Sandra Douglass Morgan became the first black, female team president in NFL history. Morgan is an attorney with a background with the Nevada Gaming Commission. From the No. 1 overall pick in the 2007 NFL draft to never making another NFL roster 3 years later, Jamarcus Russell joins The Pivot to finally tell his side of the story about what really went on to cause such a short NFL career for the quarterback who had so much potential. This conversation covers everything with emotion filled losses, tension filled frustrations and honest reflection of one of the most disappointing stories in the sport's history. Jamarcus, the highly successful LSU alumni and MVP of the 2007 Sugar Bowl, shares the Tiger ties with Ryan and reached out because he felt after all these years, it was time to answer many of the stories that shadowed his career and ultimately led to his downfall. Giving him every opportunity to explain and take accountability for what went on- Ryan, Fred and Channing ask the tough questions to find answers we all want to know. Getting right into it, the guys ask him about substance abuse stories, not watching film, missing team meetings and relationships with coaches and teammates on the Raiders during his years there. Ryan asks Jamarcus if he considers himself the biggest NFL Bust of all time to a response that may come as a surprise but he also makes it clear where he stands financially after getting 35 million guaranteed and addresses rumors of the former quarterback being broke. Not overlooking his ability to play at a high level, Channing asks Jamarcus how his talent led to losing seasons and not a lot of playing time as Jamarcus talks about his regrets, relationship with Al Davis, Nick Saban, Tom Cable, Hue Jackson and others in the organization who he feels played a role in his short NFL career. Reflecting back on a lot of "What Ifs', Jamarcus tells Fred he often wonders what it would have been like and how the course would have changed if Randy Moss was never traded to New England the year he was drafted and dispelling the rumors of his beef with Jeff Garcia and why he never made it on to another NFL roster. The Autumn Windbags: The Best Las Vegas Raiders Podcast Ever!
Davante Adams is a Las Vegas Raider! Derek Carr said he would buy Adams a car to get him on the team so what car should he get him? Davante Adams trade from the Green Bay Packers to the Raiders completely changed the wide receiver market in the NFL. Soto walks us through how the DeAndre Hopkins trade from the Houston Texans to the Arizona Cardinals led to Tyreek Hill leaving the Kansas City Chiefs. The Kansas City Chiefs have now lost Tyreek Hill, Tyrann Mathieu (FA), Jarran Reed, CB Charvarius Ward, Mike Remmers, Demarcus Robinson and others. With the team shedding players for cap space, the Windbags discuss if the dynasty is over in Kansas City. The Windbags looked at the ten biggest contracts given out in free agency during the Jon Gruden era. Trent Brown, Tyrell Williams, Lamarcus Joyner, Cory Littleton, Yannick Ngakoue, Carl Nassib, Nick Kwiatkoski, Tahir Whitehead, Marcus Mariota and Jordy Nelson. Gruden was a terrible talent evaluator. The Raiders haven't made any big splashes at offensive line so it looks like the starting line is Kolton Miller, Jon Simpson, Andre James, Denzell Good, Alex Leatherwood and Brandon Parker. It looks like Josh McDaniels and company didn't look at Tom Cable as a good coach and they can coach these guys up. Does Derek Carr have thin skin? He took to Twitter explaining why he blocks everyone. 0:00 Intro 1:00 Question of the Day 4:50 Davante Adams Changes the AFC West 20:25 Is the Chiefs Dynasty Falling Apart? 29:14 Jon Gruden SUCKED in Free Agency 41:09 The Offensive Line Philosophy 52:27 Derek Carr's Thin Skin 1:00:53 What Up, Windbags? The guys are here and ready to break down the Raiders surprising everyone and taking OT Alex Leatherwood at #17 in Round 1 of the NFL Draft. In the eyes of a lot of the experts, the Raiders made a huge reach with this pick, but the Raiders think they found their guy. Leatherwood's technique is the biggest thing that people are concerned about. He was Tom Cable's favorite guy in the Draft, so they went with Cable's gut feeling on him. The guys talk about the rumor of Aaron Rodgers wanting out of Green Bay and the Raiders maybe being one of the team's interested. They discuss what a possible trade would look like and how Derek Carr would fit into it. And they break down what they think the Raiders should do in Rounds 2 & 3 and if safety is at the top of their wish list. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Ethan Pocic looks great at center so far for the Seahawks as the offensive line as a whole has provided great protection for Russell Wilson. Was Tom Cable the problem for why we didn't see much of Ethan Pocic at the beginning of his career? Around the NFL: the league is putting the hammer down on coaches not wearing masks, and Adam Gase's job is still somehow safe. Danny and Paul sift through the Seahawks injury report. Who can we expect to play this Sunday against the Dolphins? Finally, Flag on the Play! See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Part of the fun of digging into the nooks and crannies of the Seahawks games is asking the tough questions that nobody else will bring up. Why does the ghost of Tom Cable only come to haunt the Seahawks coming out of the two-minute warning? Why can't Tre Flowers be more like Winnie the Pooh? And who is Cedrick Wilson? Did anyone other than his close family and friends know that he played for the Cowboys before this game against the Seahawks? The MVC this week goes to a future Hall of Famer and the big bonus Brand-IN goes to a bright spot in the Seahawks secondary as Ugo Amadi stood out in several different areas. A special episode to close out 2019! Jim Nagy, Executive Director of the Senior Bowl and former scout for the Seattle Seahawks, joins Rob Staton of Seahawks Draft Blog and Brandan Schulze to get Jim's reaction to the game between the Seahawks and 49ers and look ahead to the Senior Bowl on January 25, 2020. Nagy talks about the culture of the Seahawks and how they've managed to stay at or near the top of the NFC West since the arrival of Pete Carroll in Seattle along with the work that General Manager John Schneider has put in toward helping build the roster. Looking ahead to Senior Bowl weekend, Nagy talks about what to look for in some of the drills particularly between the offensive and defensive line and recalls a story about L.J. Collier barking at Tom Cable during the drills and how that type of personality is something the Seahawks like to look for in players. On the first hour of the Chuck and Buck show, The guys look at the situation in Oakland and question how much of it is Tom Cables fault, and how bad does he suck?
Will Brinson is joined by ESPN Sr. Writer Mina Kimes to break down every single NFL division, starting with the AFC South, which features the Jaguars, who feature Jalen Ramsey, who Mina just wrote a story on (if you haven't read it yet, go find it, he goes nuclear once more). They also wonder why Jon Gruden is letting Tom Cable have a bunch of power, if the Patriots drama is real, who Mina would pick to save her life between Joe Flacco and Andy Dalton, if the Saints or Falcons are better, if Jerry Jones has a Faustian deal with the devil, what Brian Schottenheimer's offense will look like and why Aaron Rodgers didn't take Kirk Cousins' type of contract, plus much more. He talks about Derek Carr's fit in Gruden's offense and then discusses how Tom Cable's presence will impact the offensive line. With the new league year and free agency just a couple weeks away, this week's show focuses on how the Seahawks should approach free agency. Is it best to fill needs through free agency or trust your scouting and address the biggest needs through the draft? The guys look at the various position groups for the ones that seem to be the most critical to address this offseason. When looking at the offensive line, it seems as though there's still a spot on this team for George Fant even with Tom Cable now in Oakland, but Adam doesn't want to admit it. There was a recent article by a Seattle reporter and national analyst toying with the idea that the Seahawks should consider trading Russell Wilson. With that in mind, the guys mock up a phone call between the general managers of the Browns and Seahawks. (31:57) How the Seahawks approach free agency will also be dependent on how they view their chances at getting compensatory picks in the 2019 draft. Brandan talks about which Seahawks free agents could net Seattle some compensatory picks next year if they move on in free agency. Corbin Smith, co-host of the Legion of 12 Radio podcast and contributor to The Seahawks Wire, joins the show this week to talk about the trade of Marcus Peters to the division rival L.A. Rams. With Trumaine Johnson looking like he'll be moving on, how much better are the Rams going to be with Peters? Paul Richardson and Jimmy Graham are two big names on offense who could both be on other teams in 2018. Corbin talks about some of the things Seattle would be missing if Richardson leaves, and he talks about the salary the Seahawks would want to consider to keep him on the team. If Graham leaves, he has thoughts on who might be worth an incentive-based contract to lure to Seattle. Follow Corbin on Twitter @CorbinSmithNFL. (41:50) Closing out the show, our Flock sends in some emails with some thoughts on offseason show ideas. In the do better segment, Adam talks about one airline that made an emergency landing because of a gassy passenger and Brandan talks about the conclusion of his appliance experience. Another SpaceX launch earns Adam's better at life nod, while the USA Women's hockey team and their gold medal victory has Brandan feeling as though some revenge was earned against Canada. As the Seahawks launch into the offseason with a clear goal of running the football better, this week we look at a team who made some dramatic shifts on offense a year ago and ended up playing for a chance at the Super Bowl this year. Adam and Brandan explore if Seattle has the same ability to make the kind of changes that can help make it so just about any running back can have success. They even explore a couple free agent prospects depending on the type of direction the team may want to go. Now that Tom Cable is in Oakland, are there any Seahawks players he might want to bring with him? Germaine Ifedi and Justin Britt would be two clear candidates and there is a relationship between the two teams to make things happen. Mock draft season is kicking off and two of the more prominent names in the media have seemed to agree on the narrative we'll be hearing from the national media on how the Seahawks should approach the draft. To talk about the Seahawks run game and a common myth held in the NFL, Sean Clement joins the show to talk about one of his latest articles on Field Gulls. Sean did a statistical analysis on running plays in the NFL to dispel the idea that teams can "establish the run" in the way that short gains early on end up turning into bigger gains later in the game. It doesn't mean teams shouldn't run the ball, but it does mean that you should be good at running the ball to have an impact at any point during the game. In the second half of the show, the guys talk about more coaching changes announced this past week. The pick'em league wraps up this coming week, but while it looks like the top spot is already locked up there is still a big prize on the table for second place. Tune in to find out who needs to 'do better' this week and why a Giants receiver and the brother of a Seahawks player are 'better at life.' A major shakeup in terms of the number of coaches turned over in the past week for the Seahawks, but we explore whether it really is a major overhaul in terms of philosophy for the team. Adam and Brandan discuss some of the major similarities with the new coaches compared to the former coaches who held the position. Brian Schottenheimer replaces Darrell Bevell, Mike Solari is in for Tom Cable and Ken Norton Jr. returns to the team to take over for Kris Richard. Adam explains why he is two-thirds excited over these changes. Keith Myers of 12th Man Rising and co-host of the Hawks Playbook podcast joins the show to talk about the departure of Tom Cable and the impact he had on the offensive line during his tenure with the Seahawks. He also offers his thoughts on Mike Solari and why he's excited about the Seahawks going back to the coach who held the job during two of the worst Seahawks seasons in recent history. The Seahawks have their first arrest of the offseason as Jeremy Lane expresses his surprise that people can get a DUI for substances other than alcohol. The guys discuss the idea of having toxicity brackets considering how terrible some people are at driving even when they are sober. Looking way ahead to 2018, there is already a game for fans to mark on their calendar as the Seahawks are set to take on the Oakland Raiders in Week 6 in London. The guys talk about some of the logistics associated with the game and all of the excitement among fans overseas surrounding the game. A note to mock draft headline writers and writers who express surprise over the crazy things that happen during their personal mock drafts. And how the NFL rules committee needed to do better leading into the playoffs to get away from meaningless moments after games end in spectacular fashion. The guys close the show by honoring Cliff Avril's passion to return to the field and to Vikings fans for recognizing an act of sportsmanship in their big win over the Saints. Was macht Marcus Williams da? Was erlauben Blake Bortles? Was war da los? Außenseiter Jacksonville reist nach New England.

Big news this week for the Seahawks as offensive coordinator Darrell Bevel and Tom Cable both let go by the Seahawks. This week's show focuses primarily on the change at offensive coordinator and some potential names that have been discussed immediately after the news came out. Adam talks about a candidate he likes who coaches running backs for the Titans while Brandan looks at a quarterback coach of a division rival. After venting last week, the guys come back toward looking ahead for some reasons for optimism at the various position groups with a focus primarily on younger players, but also some veterans who are at the core of this Seahawks team. Pete Carroll gave his end-of-season press conference recently and the guys reference how some of the comments from the head coach are important clues to how he seems this team moving forward. One name on defense may come as a surprise to be included in the top three, and on the offensive side of the football two names at running back were likely left off his list intentionally. Looking at some NFL and college football, we take a trip to Prisco's World this week for some of his comments made following Alabama's overtime win in the final playoff game. Adam also offers his thoughts on the latest ESPN article on the Patriots. After some talk about the Divisional Round matchups, a look at standings in the pick'em league and email questions, the guys get into the final two segments of the show. A pair of Cleveland Browns players need to lighten up and do better, and Adam explains how the Rams owner clearly doesn't know what it means to have a home field advantage. Marcus Mariota get a better at life nomination for his big play against the Chiefs. TOPICS: Segment #1: Revisiting every week 14 podcast from 2016 back to 2005 In trying to figure out what to do to commemorate our landmark 500th episode of Raider Nation Podcast, we decided to take a listen to a portion of each week 14 episode, starting with 2016 and going back to our start in 2005. It's interesting to see what was happening with the Raiders as they were entering the 4th quarter of each season. We enjoyed re-listening to the shows included in this anniversary special, and we hope you do to. The week 14 shows we used to put this together were Show #479, 454, 426, 396, 363, 328, 297, 260, 259, 220, 177, 119, and 57. Head Coaches during this span: Jack Del Rio, Dennis Allen, Tony Sparano, Hue Jackson, Tom Cable, Lane Kiffin, Art Shell, and Norv Turner. Boneline callers highlighted from each year: Pennsylvania Raider (2016), Raider Chris from Scranton (2015), OC Raider (2014), Raider Mystic (2013), Raider Maniac (2012), C-Money (2011), HellRaider (2010), Raider Jaime (2009), Juan Jorge (2008). Hawks Playbook Podcast Episode 28 – Loss on the Road in Green Bay Open: While Seattle did fall in it’s opening game to the Packers, there were some positives. There were a number of negatives as well, almost all on offense. Featured Segment: 5 Takeaways from loss to Green Bay Packers The offensive Line play was the worst-case scenario given the hope during preseason. Terrence Garvin played 30 snaps at SAM LB. Eddy Lacey does not look like a starting RB. On the other hand, Chris Carson should be the starter and get 15-20 touches a game. Griffin rises to the occasion and plays 70% of defensive snaps after Lane is ejected. Defensive Line is going to have an amazing year. Bonus takeaway: The call for change for assistant coaches Tom Cable and Darrell Bevel has already begun. The only thing the offensive lining is blocking for now, is our path to the Super Bowl! A Look Ahead: Week Two at Home vs San Francisco 49ers Key Players on 49ers to look for: QB Brian Hoyer, RB Carlos Hyde, WR Pierre Garcon’, LB Navorro Bowman, DE DeForest Buckner, DE Soloman Thomas, DT. Arik Armstead, CB Ahkello Witherspoon, LB Brock Coyle, LB Malcolm Smith 49ers have lost 6 straight to the Seahawks, and have won 8 of the last 9 games by a combined score of 147-67 Early line has Seattle Seahawks by 13 points Close: You can find all of our podcasts at www.hawksplaybook.com as well as subscribe to the show on ITunes and BlogTalkRadio. OTAs have wrapped up, the Seahawks mandatory minicamp is over, and now we get into a dark period of a couple weeks before training camp starts. The good news is the season is just around the corner! So far news about the heath of players has been positive as well and nobody sounds more excited than Thomas Rawls. Rawls is so excited, he feels like he needs to take up more than one spot on the depth chart. Adam and Brandan discuss why we fans should remember what had us so excited about Thomas Rawls as the team's #1 running back. The guys take a look at what has Coach Carroll fired up coming out of minicamp and his thoughts on the offensive line, Jimmy Graham and the guy who sounds like has the edge coming into training camp to take over the cornerback spot opposite Richard Sherman. Pete isn't the only coach fired up, in fact, Tom Cable says he's the most excited coach on the team. The NFL Network's Top 100 is nearing a conclusion. All the Seahawks on the list have been named, and there are a couple players who finished ahead of Seattle's top players that are really bothering Adam and Brandan. The Top 100 talk doesn't stop with NFL Network, because a trip to Prisco's World shows us that Pete can make mistakes with his player rankings as well. In the second half of the show, we check in on Marshawn Lynch and our current feeling on his situation. In the email segment we talk about a couple players going into their second year who haven't seen a lot of action and revisit a topic and potential conspiracy theory that can be put to rest. Pro Football Focus and the hoverboard marketing team get taking to task in the do better segment, while a couple of defensive lineman (one current and one former) earn Better At Life honors. Introducing a new segment for the show this week as the guys break open some of the recent clickbait headlines with a parody jingle that we hope you enjoy. In real news, Tom Cable went on the radio recently and got the Luke Joekel hype train rolling, so the guys talk about what that could mean for the left side of the offensive line. Rookie minicamp took place recently and we bring in the audio that stood out to us from each of the players along with each player's new number. We recognize some of the players from the past who wore the same number. News this week made it sound like Colin Kaepernick would be the perfect backup quarterback for the Seahawks, however we're missing one key piece of information about how much Kaep would be willing to play for. For some reason a lot of people are assuming he's going to take close to the veteran minimum. If he were to come to the Seahawks, the team doesn't have much more room for that under their cap. Jason Cole uses a statement from Michael Bennett to re-hash and old story about how Russell Wilson doesn't mesh well with the locker room. But the language he uses doesn't even make sense, so the guys try and figure out what he could even mean by perceived favoritism. Chris Johnson from the Renton Sea Hawkers joins the show to talk about his work with the Seattle Ronald McDonald House. Chris has been a part of the show since the beginning having produced the music from the 12 Train that has been used in the show since we started in 2013. Do better nods this week go to the construction crew of the new Chargers and Rams stadium for not factoring in the potential for weather to interrupt their goal to have the venue ready for 2019. Adam goes after the leader of a country who was recently embarrassed by a YouTube video where he was caught wearing some interesting clothing. Better at life nods go to Seahawks fan Chris Cornell, a former Soundgarden and Audioslave frontman, who kicked off the 2014 NFL season at CenturyLink. Adam nominates Cary Grant for trying to find a better version of himself in his early days of film, though the method he went about it would not be recommended today. For any use of "You've Been Clickbaited" please contact us and let us know where you'll be using it. Thanks to Jay Stevens on Fiverr for his work. Finally, a special thanks to Michael in San Diego who earned the title of Flocktimus Maximus this week. With the 2017 Draft now behind us, the guys reveal which player in particular they are most excited about. They also talk offensive line as Pete Carroll and Tom Cable were interviewed in the past couple weeks and offered up the positions where they expect each guy to compete. Chances are that Seahawks fans will see a drastically different line than in 2016, apart from Justin Britt at center. The guys announce the opening of voting for the Sea Hawkers Podcast Inaugural All-Seahawks Team. In the coming weeks, we'll take a look at the individual players who take the top honors. It's been a while, so they guys decide to take a trip to Prisco's World, and it doesn't look the same. Reports were that the Seahawks would have been interested in drafting a particular quarterback at the end of the first round, and Prisco wasn't buying it. With Marshawn Lynch now a member of the Oakland Raiders, the guys talk about how different it feels and how it relates to past relationships. Thanks to Bekah, Adam has a microphone that will make it much easier to produce a show when he has to work on the road. If you think you have a good name for his microphone, something he has to reference each time he's on the road, send in your comments via email and Bekah will choose her favorite. Do better nods go out to anyone with the idea that the latest set of DBs get to add 2.0 to the LOB name and to any extreme travelers from the U.S. who want to visit North Korea. Better at life nods go out to a first-year Seahawks player who is giving to charity and making an attempt to drop some pounds while engaging fans this offseason. Don't forget to vote for the Sea Hawkers Podcast Inaugural All-Seahawks Team. The offseason continues with another rules change, this time to the PAT. The guys talk about how much, if any, it has the potential to affect the league and the Seahawks. Adam and Brandan discuss an article that adds to the hype surrounding rookie receiver Tyler Lockett and discuss any impact the Dolphins deal with Ryan Tannehill could impact the Seahawks negotiations. From an email, the guys address why Tom Cable may not be happy with a majority of offensive lineman in college football. David from Virginia joins the show after his clairvoyant prediction of the penalty the Patriots would have to face (and they've since accepted) and he takes Adam to task explaining why four games is the right punishment for Tom Brady. Seahawks rookie offensive lineman Terry Poole joins us for an interview this week. The fourth round pick tells us whether or not he thinks his prediction for the NBA Finals can hold up, ask whether or not he already has a healthy dislike for the 49ers and Broncos engrained in him from his NFL fandom growing up and his approach to life after making some “knucklehead” mistakes in high school. We take your emails on Cary Wiliams, why the show may have lost a listener because of Adam's ignorance on the Wells report, and discuss the anti-Darrell Bevell website online. Do better awardees go to Paul Lukas of ESPN for his list of top NFL uniforms while Adam focuses on a NBA post-game incident. Better at life honors go out to Russell Wilson and his approval rating and David Letterman for his legendary stretch of late night television as he goes off into retirement. TOPICS: Segment #1: "Cable....Don't Worry....Be Happy!" Raider Greg discusses the latest episode of the Raiders annual end of season head coaching circus. Speculation is running wild. Most media outlets think Tom Cable will be fired. Possible head coaching candidates are being named. The Raiders have made no announcements. When will we know what will happen? No one really knows. Maybe not even Al Davis....yet. Segment #2: "John Herrera, King of the Idiots (and A-Hole of the Year!)"
