Vinny, drummer from The Mercy Fucks, has been left high and dry by his bandmates. Cut loose and left to explain songs like "Panty Sniffer" and "Commode Crusher" despite not having written them. He puts in a sterling performance however, thrilling us with stories about panty sniffing, commode crushing and spurious activity in the back of a car.Vin and Niall demonstrate the strength of their egos, Tom's is made of paper or something, we enjoy a gig report from Bolton (thanks Danny Barrett off The Crash Mats), Niall's lost a crucial grooming tool and we prove that we most certainly can't speak Polish.Extra Music This week is from: The Toy Dolls, Wytrzeszcz, By A Thread, Upchuck and The Dwarves

We kick things off with Silas telling us his top ten favorite summer Olympic sports, then Elijah relives an account of not holding things down in front of a celebrity, and lastly Rachel tells us some of the weirdest traditions all over the world. Let's take a trip back to the 1950s! Or Maybe let's not, because it looks like our tour guide is a real turd. It's time for "Life in the Past Lane," here on Morgendorks! When Jane hooks up with a guy who's obsessed with the "timeless" style of the 40s and 50s, she falls into it herself—much to the dismay of Daria. Also, Upchuck's a magician now! So that's cool, I guess. Whole lot to chat about with this one, with a ton of cultural context mixed in throughout. Enjoy! Time for another Morgendorks! This week: "I Loathe a Parade." It's Homecoming time at Lawndale High, which can only mean one thing: Daria goes on a toilet paper run and stumbles across both a parade and the long-forgotten Tad Gupty, who can't find his parents, so she ends up escorting him around, but she also runs into Tom, who decides to tag along, and then they start getting along way more than usual and it's a weird vibe and also Upchuck's driving a swinger mobile. Such a quaint yearly tradition. In the wake of the tragic death of Chadwick Boseman, our cultural context this week focuses on the importance of representation in media. How well are we doing? Spoiler: Not well at all. But it underscores the potential of a show like Jodie's upcoming series, and that's worth talking about. Welcome back folks - After a too long hiatus, here's some good old movie nonsense - no nostalgia here except for wistfully wishing we had the roughly 3 hours of our lives back dealing with this. In Ma, instead of making something genuinely interesting, horrifying, or statement based, we get 30 old vendettas and some...questionable painting skills. Sigh. We did this episode remotely, and yes Dustin does his best Chris Klein impression due to sound on Zoom. Hope the reruns have kept you entertained while we've been away. Here's to many more episodes. In this Episode of the Chuck & Deb Show you'll hear all sorts of worthless garbage from these two posers as they take you down a road to absolutely nowhere. Learn as Coach Deb, the only sane person on this show shares what a Motorcycle Squid is, and how you can become one in less than 1 minute! You'll want to wear your "Squid" badge everywhere you go. It takes a squid, to know a squid and it's a very special club. Find out what these two freaks do in their spare time and how you'll want to be sure and avoid them at all cost. You do not want to be sitting anywhere near these people at a bar. Chuck threatens to leave Deb for Sturgis but it all backfires when Deb announces (after the show) she's going to be going to Sturges with Billy Lane. Rumors have it that Chuck is still locked up in a mental ward, pulling his last two hairs out. Listen as Chuck and Deb tell you where they will be visiting and riding motorcycles, so you can do just the opposite. These people are so sick they make up stories; in this one they talk about how they are getting invited to places by people. B.S.!! There is no way in Hell anyone is inviting these two imbeciles anywhere. You'll lose all your chrome in this episode when you hear Chuck speak on topics he has absolutely no knowledge or experience of. They go on, and on, and on, about the Easy Rider movie 50th Anniversary. It just never ends they may talk until the 100th anniversary. HELP! The picture of this podcast says it all. FREAKS! It's time for a rather slapdash look at operant conditioning, as we dive headlong into the (deeply problematic) episode, The Lab Brat! Hi All, Dustin here. Apologies for lack of content updates, but it has been a busy year not allowing the Upchuck team to be united often. We will get everyone caught up with Season 2 and the Annual Chuckies soon and back on track with Season 3 shortly as well. Anyway in the meantime, myself (and my lovely fiancée, Christy) teamed up with our friends from the Our Kind of Bad Podcast, Dom and Sara to bring you the 1998 Kaiju/Schlockbuster Kraa! Daria, Jodie and Upchuck compete for a scholarship from a racist and sexist corporation, which makes Jane questions Daria's morals. Every time Jay Zippo comes on the show, he one ups himself with horrible choices. In this episode we tackle our first documentary, Love and Saucers, about a guy who claims he's had encounters (mostly sexual) with aliens for over 50 years. Along the way he gets milked, has children, and works at a deli one shift per week. This episode features an incredible amount of apathy by Aaron, space pontification by Rob, Dustin is... Dustin, and Jimmy is giddy. Part standard Upchuck fare, part science experiment, we hope you enjoy this edition to our collection, sporadic as we've been of late. The Screeners have an episode packed with two full movie reviews, a great Top 3, and more than a little interpersonal conflict, so no sense in wasting time with pointless exposition. If only we could teach Josh the same lesson for his reviews… First up is Spider-Man: Homecoming. Not only is it a movie with a colon in the title (more on that later in the episode); it’s the sixth Spidey movie in a franchise that might qualify as the most internally confused in the entire Marvel Cluster of Upchuck (that’s what MCU stands for, right?). Four out of five Screeners agree, though: It could have been worse. Superhero hijinks are followed by...an action musical? A hyperrealist crime comedy? We’re not entirely sure what to call Baby Driver, but it definitely, um, exists. Join the Screeners for a rare spoiler-less recap of the latest brainchild of the director who brought us Shaun of the Dead and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. Finally, we promised you a Top 3, and a Top 3 you shall get. Some would call this an “epic installment” of the standard Screeners segment; some might call it an “unmitigated disaster”—either way, all five hosts have prepared a list of the worst and weirdest movie titles they can think of (subject to some arbitrary criteria, of course). What’s better than personal vendetta in list form? Personal vendetta in list form plus audience participation, of course! Chad just doesn’t know how to have fun anymore; that’s the real problem here. OK, party over. Next up is War for the Planet of the Apes, though, so don’t miss that! Greetings Upchuckers! This was posted a little bit late, but in this unofficial episode, Dustin, Aaron & Rob all take a stab at an IMDb Challenge that asked the following questions. Here is the link that will show those questions. Unsurprisingly Aaron is disgusted with a majority of Dustin's choices and corrects his favorite movie's release year for him. Although favorite films seem to dominate this list, in typical Upchuck Fashion there are some films that are brought up that even all of the Upchuck crew refuse to watch again (or may watch again in a future episode for your entertainment). This one runs a bit long, but will provide a fun glimpse into what we would choose (or not choose if the case may be) to spend our time watching. Feel free to send us how you'd rate our choices, or better yet send us your choices! As always thank you for listening. PLEASE subscribe, like us on Facebook, follow us on Twitter, rate, and review. iTunes definitely gives the most juice so please be kind... and say something nice!
Our 7th episode sees us viewing the 1996 thirller Eye for an Eye starring Sally Fields, Keifer Sutherland, and Ed Harris. With the emotional nonsense of a Limetime movie, it's the story of one of the coldest most awful mothers in movie history deciding she wants revenge on the killer of her daughter in Los Angeles. The credits include a group of people known as 'Parents of Dead Children' amongst other wonders of modern movie cinema. In a pre 24 film, thermal wearing Keifer plays Robert Doob, who has the quickest murder trial in history. We see he's a bad guy because he hurts a dog and flicks a cigarette at a crack whore. Sure to be an Upchuck classic episode, there are multiple Upchuckie potential award winners in this nonsense. #makemoviesgreatagain Please follow us on Facebook, Twitter, iTunes, and subscribe! Please review and share. Thanks as always for listening!
Episode 2 brings us to the epic disaster that is Broken Arrow. Loud, stupid, and just poorly done, we felt sympathy for John Woo trying to bring his special breed of cinema to an American cast. The results? Disastrous. We had gone down a long list of possible candidates for this one, but in keeping true to what we want to try and do as our main theme, we kept rejecting ideas based on if someone else had done it that we knew of, or something that was just a little too obscure. We want to be able to refresh your mind, and hopefully implant some horrible thoughts to ruin a slice of your childhood. Get at us on Facebook, Twitter, at the Website, or at upchucktheater@gmail.com. Please listen, share, and subscribe! Help spread the vomit around. We're also on iTunes! Thanks so much for listening!
In our first episode, we watch and violate our minds with the masterpiece Ghost Ship starring Gabriel Byrne, Julianna Margulies, and Isaiah Washington. Ghost ship provides an opening sequence opening massacre listed as #13 on Bloody Disgusting's list of "The Top 13 Kills in Horror Movie History". Looking back on this episode we realize how in just a short time what an awful rabbit hole we've really fallen into with some of these movies. This one is actually a gem compared to future viewings. The original concept and script apparently are vastly different from what the cast was originally signing on for. Apparently Julianna Margulies cried when she realized the nonsense she was going to have to be in. With Dustin Hummel, Rob Mackowski, and Aaron Krygier.
