He received his doctorate in Plant Physiology from the University of Kentucky after completing Master's and Bachelor's degrees at Purdue University. He started working with hemp in 2014 while at the University of Kentucky. Dr. Schluttenhofer research specializes in the genetics and biochemistry of Cannabis used for agricultural and medical purposes.
