If you have any questions, please send me an email Joshua@GSDMode.com and here are the questions we jump into this week: -Question: When are you guys going to do a gear podcast? (I asked if He had any specific questions on "Gear") yeah I'd say a good first cycle , thoughts on tren ?, is it worth it low dose maybe ? Mast . -Question: question: Your thoughts on using Trenbolone Enanthate at 150mg/week, instead of using Testosterone Cypionate 150mg/week for TRT? Question: Hey guys! Once again thanks for all the great info! I just had my shoulder surgery yesterday and started my aggressive healing protocol this morning. I am in an adductor sling for the next 6 weeks. I start PT in a week, but I can take my arm out to breath and clean in 72 hrs. Can I pin my lats or tricep? I want to administer the bpc as close as possible but atm I can't seem to do it one handed and in my current state. I have been sticking to my stomach but I know the closer the better. Question: Really appreciate all the great practical information. Could I please have your opinion on the compound Tesofensine. Any info will greatly appreciated. Thank you Question: Hi Josh, Hi Jim. Amazing work all the time Gentlemen! Have you heard of / researched taking LDN (low-dose Naltrexone) for inflammation reduction? And, have you heard of / researched FLGR-242, a modified version of Follistatin-344, which has been available to the public since approximately November of 2025. Question: I've been taking 200 mcg of cjc 1295 and 200 mcg of ipamorelin before bed 5 days on and 2 days off for about a month. I was not sleeping well on the nights i took it. 2 days ago I started taking1mg of tesamorelin and 200mcg of ipa before bed and cjc and ipa in the morning. I woke up with a headache both mornings. I was take half the amount of tesa and see what happens. Just curious what you thought was causing the headache. Thanks for all the good info guys! Question: I've been on Reta for 4 months and have lost 15 pounds and 2 belt sizes, but my blood pressure is up and was a little high when I started it. If I stop Reta what should I take instead? I am going to start Tesa and wolverine stack for injury and to address gut problems. Still need to lose 30 pounds from waist up! 57 years old. Thanks! Question: Hi guys! You talked about SS-31 and MOTS-C and running one before the other. I'm currently running SS-31 and planning to add in MOTS-C after a few weeks. I'm hearing that adding in NAD+ on opposite days of MOTS-C is beneficial. Have either of you done this? And if so, would you suggest that I add in the MOTS-C first and then a couple of weeks later, the NAD+? What are your thoughts? Thanks so much! Question: Is there anywhere to look at the Reta statin data for plaque? My buddy had a widowmaker at 46 last month; it has me worried about my heart health at 54. I have a mild blockage in my LAD. I am on Tirz and a statin as is. If there is a way to reduce it at all I would be willing. Thanks!! Love the show!
In this episode of the Tough Girl Podcast, we meet Chloe Stead — 42 years old and currently living in a rustic tiny shack in the bush in Tasmania with her husband — but her journey to this simple life has been anything but ordinary. Since 2008, Chloe has been living a travelling, nomadic lifestyle. After leaving school at 18 to join the Navy and later working in health and safety in Perth, Australia, she reached a quiet breaking point while staying at the Whim Creek Hotel in 2006. A simple but powerful thought surfaced: There has to be more to life than this. Within a week, she sold her house, packed up a shipping container, took her dog, and began driving solo around Australia with just $500 AUD — despite being petrified of sleeping in a tent. That leap of faith set the course for the next chapter of her life. But Chloe's story is not just about adventure — it's about grief, reinvention, and learning to live on her own terms. After the sudden death of her partner Willy in 2013, everything stopped. In the depths of grief, Chloe stepped away from social media, let go of her old life, and slowly began again. Meditation, yoga retreats, and eventually walking the Camino de Santiago in 2014 became turning points. Carrying everything on her back, she discovered a deep love for minimalism, simplicity, and self-reliance. Over the years, Chloe has: Walked multiple Caminos including the Camino del Norte, Camino Primitivo and Via de la Plata Hitchhiked and walked along the beaches of Uruguay Taken a 10,000km road trip with her dog Dexter Lived off less than $100 AUD per week Worked seasonally to fund months of adventure Cycled from Alaska to San Francisco (86 nights in a tent!) Walked the Wales Coast Path and the Portuguese Camino Chosen to stay off social media to be fully present on trail Now married, Chloe continues to design a life built around freedom, movement, and intentional simplicity. With big adventures planned for 2026 — including walking the South West Coast Path and the GR10 — she shares honestly about navigating partnership on trail, managing knee issues, strength training gains, and why getting to the start line is often the hardest part. This conversation is about: Letting go of possessions and expectations Living with uncertainty Processing grief through movement Creating "trail life" off-trail Why you don't need technology to experience adventure Trusting that the universe conspires to keep you going And why you should "give it a crack and get to the start line." Chloe's message is simple but powerful: Life is uncertain. Don't put things off. If there's something you want to do — take the plunge. *** New episodes of the Tough Girl Podcast drop every Tuesday at 7 AM (UK time)! Four cyclists from Petersfield’s Twin Town Warendorf in Germany were formally welcomed to the town by the Mayor, Cllr Chris Paige on Tuesday 19 May. They cycled 70 to 90 kilometres a day to get here. They were joined on the day by the Petersfield Bike Buddies. We spoke to the Mayor and Dirk (who apart from saying how friendly every one was, read out a message from Warendorf's own Mayor) . Mike Waddington also speaks to Sabine one of the cyclists, and Malcolm and Hillary from Petersfield Bike Buddies. The Town Criers got the breakfast occasion underway! Discovered accidentally in the 1930s, studied as a possible psychiatric wonder drug, used by the CIA in highly unethical clandestine mind control experiments for project MKUltra during the cold war, adopted by the counterculture hippies of the summer of love, LSD (lysergic acid diethylamide) is viewed by some for its potential to expand human consciousness and promote peace and by others for its potential to completely destroy our society. Riding a Penny Farthing bicycle from the Sierra Nevada mountains to Yokohama, Japan, Thomas Stevens began his epic two-and-a-half year journey around the world on 22nd April, 1884. Along the way, he encountered mountain lions, Persian aristocracy, and thousands of supporters from bicycle clubs, who turned up to hear him speak. His journey was endlessly delayed by having to demonstrate the virtues of his bike to anyone who asked. In this episode, Arion, Rebecca and Olly explain why the ‘wheel-men' of 1884 desperately needed a role-model like Stevens; reveal how he was able to monetize his adventurism in a very modern way; and unearth the surprising second career he embarked upon back in his native England… Further Reading: • ‘The Fearless Traveller: Around the World with Thomas Stevens' (Adventure Cycling, 2010): https://www.adventurecycling.org/sites/default/assets/resources/201005_TheFearlessTraveler_Koss.pdf • ‘Thomas Stevens, a Berkhamsted pioneer, crosses America by bicycle' (Berkhamsted Local History & Museum Society): https://berkhamsted-history.org.uk/thomas-stevens-a-berkhamsted-pioneer-crosses-america-by-bicycle/ • ‘Epic Explorers: Thomas Stevens' (The EPIC Channel, 2022): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqHY1-TL12o #Explorer #Sport #UK #USA #1800s Love the show? I took 2 weeks off in October to ride a bicycle around the whole of Taiwan. It was over 1000km and took about 2 weeks to complete. Along the way, I had both good and bad experiences and there's a lot I'd love to share!I also filmed a lot of videos of my cycle, so if you'd like to see, you can watch this episode on YouTube - The Level Up English Podcast. This is perhaps the longest solo episode I've ever recorded, but throughout the episode, I talk about the good and the bad, what I did day by day, how I prepared for the trip, and my experience talking in Chinese with people there. As a former world champion in triathlon, Kate Strong knows what it takes to be at the very top of her game. But she also knows what it feels like to fall back to zero, such is the fragility of competitive sports, and the reality of getting injured as an athlete. Starting again from the bottom with the bare minimum, Kate built herself back and aimed to be the first woman to set a world record for the greatest distance cycled on a static bike in 24 hours. And Kate not only rode an astonishing astonishing 433.1 miles in 24 hours, she also claimed the 12 hour and the 1 hour record at the same time, as well as making waves in showing what women in sport can do. Eager to continue using sport to make an impact on others, last summer Kate cycled 3,000 miles around Britain, connecting with 50 different communities, organisations & charities that positively impact climate change. She called it the Climate Cycle. In this conversation, we talk about what it takes to become a triathlon world champion, how Kate felt after being injured and having to start again from zero, how discovering the lack of female records in sport inspired Kate to take on the 24 hour cycle, and how her first failure inspired her eventual success. We talk about her Climate Cycle, how she deals with climate deniers, how the 'vegan' label can be quite limiting, and we talk about some of the places she visited on her epic 3,000 mile ride. Mark Clench had been fat biking across Labrador and the island since October 4. He's raising money for an organization called Can'd Aid, a group which provides bicycles and guitars for children. Clench made it home to Princeton on Monday.

Ultra-endurance athlete Sean Conway, born in Zimbabwe, has been the subject of documentaries aired on Discovery and Amazon Prime. He is the author of six books and a highly sought-after motivational speaker.Multiple world record holder Sean has:Cycled the length of Britain. Sailed the length of Britain. He's swam the length of Britain. He's cycled across Europe. He's run the length of Britain. He's cycled from London to the Alps. He completed a 4,200 mile long Ironman.Another time, he cycled around the world. And, in perhaps his biggest and most recent challenge yet - and I've not even listed half of them - Sean broke the world record for the most consecutive Ironman triathlons in a row. He did an Ironman every single day for 105 days.I contextualise this in the interview with some actual figures, but that means Sean swam 2.4 miles. And then, after that swim, he cycled 112 miles. And then, after that cycle, he ran a marathon. He did that every day, for 105 days. I visited Sean in the beautiful rural North Wales - by myself and without my usual production support! - where he lives with his wife Caroline and their two young children. We chatted about life, his accomplishments, his drive - and believe me, there aren't many people with the single mindedness Sean has.Follow him on Instagram @seanconwayadventure and on Twitter @Conway_Sean. Ron Rutland arrived in Paris on 7 September 2023, concluding the fourth leg of a remarkable (and not always planned) journey that has spanned a decade and four Rugby World Cups. Beginning in 2013, Ron rode from Cape Town to London via every country in Africa, then London to Tokyo, Tokyo to Auckland, and Auckland to Paris (via South and North America). It's a journey that has covered over 100,000 km, crossing 115 countries on six continents. In between, he caddied the longest hole of golf every played across Mongolia. Ron has seen and experienced it all - mudslides, heat, illness, adopted dogs, bus accidents, Himalayan and Andean passes, 100km climbs and even longer descents. He and Ross sit down in a hotel coffee shop in Paris to talk about his cycling journey around the world, fitness gains, calorie deficits, see-food diets, and the challenges overcome, lessons learned, and life philosophies developed along the way.Show notesThe documentary made about Ron's caddying expedition across Mongolia: The Longest HoleThe journey from London to Tokyo is available as a link at the bottom of this page (it just requires sign up for a free trial, and possibly a VPN), including Himalayan Peaks and mudslides: Everything in between Get bonus content on Patreon Hosted on Acast. Welcome to this week's episode of Verve where we spoke with Kelsey Reese. In May 2020 Kelsey Reese's boredom-induced closet clean out quickly became much more. She started posting her thrift flips to TikTok, which has amassed @reese.cycled over 260,000 followers. Now, Kelsey sells her thrift flips and curated vintage finds online while promoting a more sustainable way to shop secondhand. We discuss her philosophy on creative outlets and how it intersects with owning a business, the lonely reality of full time content creation, and sewing for fun vs profit. Kelsey's sense of style is so fun and you can so clearly hear how much she loves what she does. From her semi-chaotic get ready with me videos(that usually end up in her altering at least 1 piece of clothing) to dressing up for her boyfriend's shows, she'll quickly become your new favorite tiktok follow! Rose Moses is Ojibwe, from Henvey Inlet First Nation Band. She is a self-taught artist and has drawn on the inspiration of other First Nations artists. She up-cycles a lot of her materials when working on a project. We meet at her farm and she takes me on a walking tour of her seemingly endless work. From crazy quilts to doll making, beadwork, collages, painting, furniture rescue and restoration. She walks me through building after building and room after room filled with all of her projects. We talk about her deep passion for saving furniture from landfill and her support of youth and First Nations projects through sales of her art and furniture donations. We also have a very open and honest conversation about the work she does with high-school students. She shares mixed media collage art that are filled with symbolism of the pain and process faced by residential school survivors, her first-hand experience with her loss of culture and her own connection with her mother's experiences of residential school. It's a very moving and meaningful conversation that I was honoured to experience. Both Beading and Doll making has been part of the First Nations culture for a long time and it possesses great beauty, Rose considers working on them as sacred work. She has been making dolls for over 30 years and goes to schools to teach doll-making. She just recently taught herself how to bead and has enjoyed putting bead-work in frames, on my dolls and even on her own clothing. You can buy her work at https://indigenousartscollective.org/rose-moses/Henvey Inlet Powwow, Pickerel ONKirk Kove Cottages, Arden ONKuriosity Shop, Northbrook ONFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/rose.moses.5 Support the showFollow Bridget O'Flaherty @thesustainablequilter on Instagram and TheSustainableQuilter on Facebook. Opening piano music courtesy of Bellevue Presbyterian Church -- Jazzy Jerico the walls came tumbling down. How the mighty has fallen, in truth, just about everything manufactured contains some recycled content. It's part of the process, but to claim “recycled” content is more efficient is bogus. How would anyone know? FYI/tightening the money supply erodes the spending power of every American by making housing more expensive. The cost of housing is a component of the consumer price index (CPI) just like groceries & gasoline. It's no longer on our radar, but during WWII, Princess Elizabeth served her nation in the woman's army as a driver. I was privileged to have seen her on my first visit to England. It was “Remembrance Day” we arrived late to the wreath laying & were directed to Horse Guards Parade. That's the back side of The Palace at White Hall we found a place on the kerb(sic) UK spelling here. Pretty soon we heard a band approaching from our right. It was the Coldstream Guards followed by veterans of 1st British Airborne (A Bridge too Far) & a convoy of vehicles led by a Rolls Royce bearing The Sovegens Standard. HRH was sitting on our side waving & smiling at the crowd. It was a thrilling moment. Although I had a camera I didn't take a photo, I cherish the memory of the Queen coming to see Me!Closing Banjo Music courtesy of Banjo HangOut -- William Tell Overture.
Composition by Stepfanie Anne. "The attendance recorder reminded me of the concept of "being present" in mindfulness practices. I sampled parts of the audio to transform into a pulse, a human body's own life clock. Part of being human is being aware of time and our own cycles. I sampled micro-parts and utilized audio effects such as delay and reverb. Some of the sounds were also reversed. All sounds used in this piece are from the original recording." Riding a Penny Farthing bicycle from the Sierra Nevada mountains to Yokohama, Japan, Thomas Stevens began his epic two-and-a-half year journey around the world on 22nd April, 1884. Along the way, he encountered mountain lions, Persian aristocracy, and thousands of supporters from bicycle clubs, who turned up to hear him speak. His journey was endlessly delayed by having to demonstrate the virtues of his bike to anyone who asked. In this episode, Arion, Rebecca and Olly explain why the ‘wheel-men' of 1884 desperately needed a role-model like Stevens; reveal how he was able to monetize his adventurism in a very modern way; and unearth the surprising second career he embarked upon back in his native England… Further Reading: • ‘The Fearless Traveller: Around the World with Thomas Stevens' (Adventure Cycling, 2010): https://www.adventurecycling.org/sites/default/assets/resources/201005_TheFearlessTraveler_Koss.pdf • ‘Thomas Stevens, a Berkhamsted pioneer, crosses America by bicycle' (Berkhamsted Local History & Museum Society): https://berkhamsted-history.org.uk/thomas-stevens-a-berkhamsted-pioneer-crosses-america-by-bicycle/ • ‘Epic Explorers: Thomas Stevens' (The EPIC Channel, 2022): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqHY1-TL12o #Explorer #Sport #UK #USA #1800s For bonus material and to support the show, visit Patreon.com/Retrospectors We'll be back on Monday! Team USA cyclist Leah Thomas joins us to discuss the unconventional path many cyclists take to becoming professional cyclists due to not a strong presence of youth cycling. We learn about Leah's journey and talk about how to get involved in cycling. A note for today's episode that we forgot to mention, when Leah refers to "the peleton" it's NOT the stationary bike you see on tv, the peloton is what you call the group of cyclists that are riding together in a pack in a race. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/morethanmystats/support

Shirley Billot is the founder of the organic beauty brand Kadalys. Shirley is a global expert in banana science who founded Kadalys in 2012. Kadalys specializes in upcycling and eco-extraction of the banana plant to develop 100% natural bio-active ingredients generated by bananas from Martinique and Guadeloupe in the French Caribbean using an eco-responsible approach. Kadalys is the first natural cosmetic brand made with banana tree antioxidants. The banana plant holds a special place in the traditional medicine of the French Caribbean islands where it is used for its soothing, healing, and revitalizing cosmetics properties. The Kadalys brand won 8 beauty awards in 2 years. Shirly makes sure that she looks out for her entrepreneur community in the French overseas department to work together during the COVID crisis and produce hand sanitizers for distribution to the French overseas departments. Shirley talks about where she found funding for the research component of her business (she holds several patents for her banana research, go girl!) and support to grow the business. The banana producers in the Kadalys supply chain are also shareholders in the business. Not only is Shirley breaking ground in her banana science research and eco-conscious production, but she is also exhibiting a business model that takes care of its supply chain and views them as business partners in what she calls benevolent capitalism. Shirley faced some challenges finding funding after the early-stage funding for banana science research. According to her, the French Caribbean Island of Martinique is seen as a tourist destination and not an entrepreneurship hub. Therefore, there are few funds interested in funding entrepreneurs on the Island. She was however fortunate to receive investment from Josh Game with Junction Injunction dedicated to supporting African women entrepreneurs. Additional funding came from a L'Oreal entrepreneurship program Her products are coming to US stores soon so keep your eyes out for more news from Kadalys and make sure you pick up some products when they drop in US stores. You can purchase Kadalys products now online at https://www.kadalys.com/en/ and a shop on Amazon is coming soon. Social media: follow Kadalys on Instagram and Facebook. Shirley can be found on LinkedIn where there is also a Kadalys company page. Rate, review, subscribe and come back for more. We would also love to hear from you.
