Gambenkonzerte finden sich darunter allerdings keine, was den Gambisten Cristiano Contadin jedoch nicht daran gehindert hat, auf seiner jüngsten CD trotzdem Musik des großen Geigenvirtuosen aufzunehmen. Völlig zu Recht, findet Michael Gmasz.   Beim Blick in die Vergangenheit lässt sich immer wieder feststellen, dass die Musik bestimmten Moden unterworfen war. Natürlich was Harmonik und Stilistik betrifft, aber auch, was den Einsatz von gewissen Instrumenten anbelangt. Nach der Blütezeit der Gambe in Renaissance und Frühbarock z.B. war ihre Bedeutung in Tartinis Jahren bereits zurückgegangen und hatte höchstens in der basso continuo Gruppe Verwendung gefunden. Was jedoch nicht heißt, dass sich nicht so manches Werk, das ursprünglich für die Violine oder andere Instrumente komponiert wurde, auch bestens für die Viola da Gamba eignet. Hoch virtuos präsentieren sich auf unserer CD der Woche zwei Konzerte und drei Sonaten von Giuseppe Tartini, mit der Gambe als Soloinstrument und einem kleinen, aber feinen Solistenensemble zur Begleitung.   Während zwei Violinsonaten aus einer privaten Sammlung des 18. Jahrhunderts, der sog. Ledenburg-Sammlung, stammen, wurde die Teufelstrillersonate eigens für diese Besetzung arrangiert und als Concerto grosso umgearbeitet. Dazu kommen die beiden Konzerte in D- und A-Dur, die zwar schon ursprünglich für eine Viola geschrieben wurden, jedoch nicht die „da Gamba“ … Der Gambist Cristiano Contadin, regelmäßig im Einsatz bei bedeutenden Ensembles wie I Barocchisti, der Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin, Accademia Bizantina und anderen, tritt hier mit seinem eigenen Ensemble Opera Prima solistisch in Erscheinung. Silbrig glänzt der Ton seines Instrumentes, sein Spiel lässt an Feinheit, Perfektion und Virtuosität nichts vermissen. Kräftig im Zugriff und vor allem erfrischend im Klang spielt hier das Ensemble Opera Prima, dem italienische Branchengrößen wie der Geiger Federico Guglielmo, der Cembalist Roberto Loreggian oder die beiden Natur-Horn Spezialisten Ermes Pecchinini und Dimer Maccaferri, angehören. Alte Musik mit Biss und Schmiss, die weit über rein „historisch informiert“ hinausgeht. (mg)
