On this week's episode, JP is back and he has missed all of you, and Scotty's girlfriend is a bowler. So the NFL Draft happened, and, more importantly, the Stanley Cup Playoffs are freaking amazing! Enjoy another hilarious episode, and keep on laughing!
The NFL Draft has ended, and Jeff Mans is here to recap all seven rounds and 257 picks. First off, Jeff addresses the silly “consensus draft board” argument plaguing social media the last few days and explains why certain people are so desperate to have their opinions fit in with the mainstream. Also, the idea that this was a “bad draft for fantasy football” is simply impossible because the production will be there one way or another. Then Jeff goes round by round, giving out his top five best picks of each round, then his top five worst picks out of each round of the draft. He provides his reasoning why those picks are hits and misses along the way, too. As usual, Mans recaps every single pick made by all 32 NFL teams and, using his draft prospect formula, gives each team a score, letter grade, and ranking. He explains the hits, misses, what he would have done differently, and the fantasy impact for each selection here, too. This is a super-sized episode this week, full of juicy NFL Draft nuggets, so pull up to the table and eat. Evan Roberts and Tiki Barber react to a bizarre NFL story involving the Ravens admitting owner Steve Bisciotti helped make a draft pick, sparking a debate about whether New York fans would ever tolerate that kind of front office involvement. The guys compare it to the Jets and Giants, discuss owner influence across sports, and break down why the reaction would be completely different in this market. The conversation also turns to Aaron Rodgers after the Steelers place a rare unrestricted free agent tender on him, creating new speculation about his future and whether Pittsburgh is finally putting pressure on the quarterback to make a decision. Evan and Tiki debate what the move actually means, why the Steelers may be protecting themselves from Rodgers dragging things into training camp, and what it says about the current state of negotiations.

Can Ohio State's Defense Still Be Elite After Losing NFL Draft Stars? | Buckeye Weekly PodcastOn the Buckeye Weekly Podcast, Tony Gerdeman and Tom Orr kick off “listener question season” by answering whether Ohio State's defense can make its own mark after major NFL Draft departures from last year's historic unit. They highlight how unexpected breakouts (like Arvell Reese and Kayden McDonald) can happen again, point to potential risers such as Kenyatta Jackson, and emphasize the transfer portal's role in replacing starters with experienced players, including additions like Qua Russaw, James Smith, John Walker, Christian Alliegro, and Earl Little. He does not think many of these players will be contributing year 1 and he is fine with that. He also has a message for people who think because the Patriots draft 2 OT that Will Campbell is on the hot seat. He completely shuts down that idea.
