Robbie Daymond was bitten by the acting bug at a young age. The Warrenton, MO native has gone from the stage to the recording booth, bringing life to animated characters like Marvel's Spider-Man, Japanese anime fan favorites including “Sailor Moon” and “Jujutsu Kaisen” and a host of video games across several genres. He stars in Netflix's new animated series “Devil May Cry” which premieres April 3. In this encore episode of “St. Louis on the Air,” Daymond discussed his career, the art of voice acting, and some of his favorite characters.

The adventure uses a Powered by the Apocalypse hack co-developed with Nintendo Treehouse. Diablo 4. Much anticipated Blizzard ARPG has finally released on PC, PS5, and Xbox. The first player to reach Hardcore level 100 had their character perma-killed due to a disconnect form the server - Blizzard, as an anti-cheat measure, kills your character when you DC. Everybody 1-2-Switch. A sequel to the glorified tech demo Switch launch title has been announced, releasing June 30th. It will feature similar wacky gameplay as the original. Microsoft. The Xbox maker will pay $20M in fines after settling with the FTC after it was found to be illegally collecting data from children on Xbox. COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) stipulates that online service providers must notify parents of their intentions and seek consent before they can collect and use personal information from children under 13. Microsoft maintains that the data was never used, shared, or monetized, and that the procedures that led to the collection and retention of such data has been updated in compliance. Pastel Joycons. Nintendo announced two new pastel Joycon sets that will release June 30th. The sets are dual-colored, with a purple and green set and a pink and yellow set. They will retail for $80. Spider-Man 4. Tom Holland confirmed with Variety that talks about the film had officially begun, but they've halted the process in solidarity with the ongoing writers' strike. The One Ring. Public bid announcements have started for the soon-to-be-released 1/1 printing of The One Ring from the upcoming Magic: the Gathering x Lords of the Rings crossover set. This particular printing is foil, full art, and written in Elvish. Based on a video upload from WotC, the card is already starting to curl. Witcher. Doug Cockle, voice actor for Geralt in The Witcher games, revealed that he is being treated for prostate cancer. He says treatment is going well, and encourages men over 50 to get a PSA test. These are heady questions that Exception introduces, but doesn't force on the audience – they will be in the back of your mind as it progresses, however.Further, Exception is a visually arresting feast. It may not look anything like what you're used to from the anime world, but it's a treat for the eyes and steeped in nontraditional design. Everything about Exception is otherworldly, from top to bottom. Most of that is due to legendary character designer Yoshitaka Amano, who was responsible for bringing the cast to life, but there's an unsettling eerieness that permeates just about every part of the series.It's a fun kind of weird that we don't see enough of in Western or anime series, and I'm thrilled to see that no punches were pulled bringing this story to fruition. In the distant future, humanity has been forced out of its home on Earth. The entire population must move to a different star system, one where there's a planet suitable for terraforming. The crew has been recreated from what were apparently living, breathing human beings prior to their journey through space.Their new bodies, created using a biological 3D printer called The Womb, retain the memories and DNA of their former selves, but neither Nina (Ali Hillis) nor Mack (Robbie Daymond) are under the delusion that they're the “same” people they were when their memories were backed up, only recreations. The similarities are impeccable though, and crewmate Oscar (Eugene Byrd) is especially impressed with his new body as his cavities are gone.The crew is headed to Planet X-10 on a journey that's taken about a week to get started, but it will end up taking much more time to complete the overall mission. Interestingly enough, the crew's “real selves” are traveling on a migrant vessel from Earth in cryosleep while their copies work away on the spaceship. One by one, the crew members are recreated: Nina, Mack, Oscar, Patty (Nadine Nicole), and then Lewis (Nolan North).While Lewis is in the middle of being printed, the ship runs into a devastating solar flare that interrupts the printing process and causes a few problems. When everything is all said and done, it's revealed that the system malfunction has caused the final member, Lewis, to come out disfigured. The crew must decide whether to euthanize him and start over for the good of the mission, or cultivate new cells and contend with Lewis the way he is…until things go south. ★ Support this podcast on Patreon ★

Sam Hughes speaks to awesome voice artist, Ray Chase, about his work on Final Fantasy XV, The Seven Deadly Sins and more! Ray is best known for his versatility as a voice actor in video games and animation, as well as being a major spokesperson for brands such as Coke Zero, Progressive, Welch's, Corona Light, and Naturebox. Video game fans know him as the lead protagonist Noctis in the best-selling Final Fantasy XV (2016) and Edgar from Final Fantasy III (1994) in World of Final Fantasy (2016). Superhero fans know him as the voices of Jason Blood and Etrigan the Demon in the DC feature film Justice League Dark (2017). He is a con fixture making appearances all over the world with his show "Loud, Annoying, and Very Annoying" (LAVA) with fellow voice actors Robbie Daymond and Max Mittelman. Ray graduated summa cum laude from the USC School of Theater. He also trained at the British American Dramatic Academy. He currently lives in Los Angeles with his dog Milo. Daymond was born as Robert Daymond Niles in Chesterfield, Missouri and was raised in Warrenton, Missouri for most of his early life. When he was an infant, his father Robert Nile's left the family, leaving his mother Laura Marks to raise him with the help of her parents Marvin and Mary Marks. He took an interest in acting when he was very young. In 1992, he performed in his first professional play, On Golden Pond at the Bell Star Theater. In 1993, Daymond's mother married Gregory Howard and in 1995 changed his name to Robert Daymond Howard after being officially adopted by Greg. In that same year, he and his family moved to St. Louis, Missouri. In 2000, he was accepted in to the Webster University Theater Conservatory, but was put on academic probation for a time and later left Webster University in 2002 to attend the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where he graduated with a BFA in Theater Performance in 2004. Later, he continued to perform at the Nevada Conservatory Theater, while he also taught acting, movement, speech and voice to undergraduate theater majors. In 2007, he graduated the UNLV with a Master of Fine Arts in Acting. In August 2007, he moved to LA to continue pursuing acting and has continued to appear in theater, film, television and voice-over. He currently lives in Los Angeles. He also owns and operates a voice-over company, Shock & Awesome Audio. He currently voices SwaySway in the Nickelodeon cartoon, Breadwinners and the twins Evan and Myles on The Hub's Transformers: Rescue Bots. On May 6, 2014, it was announced that Daymond will be voicing the character Porta in the English dub of the anime film Patema Inverted. On July 5, 2014, it was announced that he will be voicing Mamoru Chiba/Tuxedo Mask in the Viz Media English dub of Sailor Moon.
