Du scandale du côté de HBO Max Après la disparition abusive du film Batgirl et de divers titres d'animations quelques mois plus tôt par ce même HBO Max, c'est un nouveau tour de suppressions. The Nevers tout d'abord a officiellement été annulée alors que la partie 2 de la saison 1 n'a toujours pas été diffusée (elle devrait l'être, mais aucun détail n'a été révélé). Puis Westworld sera intégralement retirée de la plateforme HBO Max, même si la série devrait être disponible sur un autre service payant du groupe Warner. Quant à Minx, nouveauté de cette année et qui avait reçu d'excellentes critiques et qui avait pourtant été renouvelée pour une saison 2 est finalement annulée… Des annulations en séries : STEP UP Malgré l'arrivée de Christina Millan, Step Up n'aura pas pu être sauvée. La série de Starz disponible sur Lionsgate+ en France verra sa troisième saison se changer en conclusion définitive. Du scandale du côté de HBO Max Après la disparition abusive du film Batgirl et de divers titres d'animations quelques mois plus tôt par ce même HBO Max, c'est un nouveau tour de suppressions. The Nevers tout d'abord a officiellement été annulée alors que la partie 2 de la saison 1 n'a toujours pas été diffusée (elle devrait l'être, mais aucun détail n'a été révélé). Puis Westworld sera intégralement retirée de la plateforme HBO Max, même si la série devrait être disponible sur un autre service payant du groupe Warner. Quant à Minx, nouveauté de cette année et qui avait reçu d'excellentes critiques et qui avait pourtant été renouvelée pour une saison 2 est finalement annulée… Des annulations en séries : STEP UP Malgré l'arrivée de Christina Millan, Step Up n'aura pas pu être sauvée. La série de Starz disponible sur Lionsgate+ en France verra sa troisième saison se changer en conclusion définitive. DANGEROUS LIAISONS Alors qu'une saison 2 avait été commandée, le studio Starz est revenu sur sa décision et vient d'annuler la série qui servait de préquelle à l'histoire classique des Liaisons dangereuses et où on découvrait les jeunes Valmont et la future marquise de Merteuil. SHANTARAM Passée sous le radar, la série d'Apple TV+ avec Charlie Hunnam est annulée au bout d'une saison, une grande première pour la plateforme. Adaptée du roman de Gregory David Roberts, avec Shantaram on plongeait dans les rues de Bombay sur un fond de thriller. BLOCKBUSTER Après une seule saison mise en ligne début novembre, Netflix arrête les frais de Blockbuster, la workplace comedy centrée autour du dernier Blockbuster survivant des États-Unis. Elle partira comme elle est arrivée, dans le plus grand des silences. WARRIOR NUN Après deux saisons sur Netflix, les Warrior Nun raccrochent leurs robes. To say that we were pretty different on how we felt for today's topic, would be a complete and utter understatement! This is a pretty controversial pick for us. Not in a HEADLINE kind of way, but those who didn't like it, DIDN'T like it! But, like all topics there are some great conversations that come from every topic. Today, of course, the topic is a newer Netflix title, Warrior Nun. Created by Simon Barry, it is based on the comic book character, created by Ben Dunn. Warrior Nun revolves around the 19 year old Ava, who, at the time we meet her, has already died. She gets the "halo" put into her, and it brings her back to life. The rest of the series is a struggle for Ava to find out who she is, internally, and find out where she truly belongs. This, plus her finding her way as a Warrior Nun, with almost everyone trying to stab her in the back. After having his organs harvested, (Max has his heart), Zach resurfaces as part of a Steelhead gang intent on siphoning off the nanocytes designed to repair damage to his body. Only a shell of himself, Zach slowly begins making connections as the memories he's able to access begin to make sense.
