Slide into our DMsEpisode 54: What's in Your Bag? The Language of Pain vs. JoyHey Love! ❤️ In this episode, we're diving into something so important for how we show up in relationships: emotional baggage. Yep, I said it. We all have it—whether we want to admit it or not. But here's the thing: if we don't take time to unpack what's weighing us down, we're going to keep carrying it into every new chapter, every new season.Today's episode focuses on how to start unpacking that baggage by understanding the language of pain and joy. We all speak one of these languages, but which one are you speaking in your relationships? You might be wondering: “How do I figure that out?” That's where the fun part comes in. I'm walking you through an activity that will help you reflect on the emotional baggage you're carrying into your next season. We're going to ask some powerful questions that are going to shift how you see yourself and what you're bringing to the table. We'll unpack the difference between pain and joy—the vibe you're bringing into your relationships. The truth is, you can't step into a new season until you know what's in your bag, babe. Is it full of past pain, old wounds, and projections? Or is it packed with joy, clarity, and peace? We'll explore: What's the single greatest lesson you carry with you to date? What are three words you would use to describe yourself? What is your single greatest asset or strength?By the end of this episode, you'll have the tools to assess your emotional baggage, unpack what's no longer serving you, and step into your next season with a clearer, lighter heart.

Since 2018, I've seen the rise of some pretty shady products. Recently, there's been a crazy boom of “alternative cannabinoids.” Hemp-derived Delta 8, Delta 9, HHC, THC-O have been popping up everywhere, especially in grey area and illicit markets. I've started to see adds for “weed online” and people with large platforms promoting gummies, vapes, flower, joints and more. I couldn't help but wonder — wtf even was ANY of this?? What are we inhaling? Putting into our bodies? I got to sit down with Alex Harris, an **actual** scientist to talk about trustworthiness, what she's seen in the lab and how people can navigate this wave of synthetic cannabinoids. She's also a fellow University of Maryland alumni which makes this episode all the more special! Alex is the Cannabis Science Advisor for Tikun Olam, the President of the Medical Cannabis Student Association at the University of Maryland, Baltimore and the Deputy Director of Education at LA NORML. This week on Bag Ladies WE ARE TIRED, BUT WE’RE HERE. We’re talking about Dump’s CHILDISHNESS against the Mayor of San Juan who needs HELP. We’re also discussing Colin Kaepernick’s protest and the fact everyone has taken it and misshapen it, and we’re discussing OJ Simpson’s new freedom and the fact that the AG of Florida definitely doesn’t want it to bring her to her state (like they don’t have bigger shit to worry about). For Baggage we’re taking on the idea of academic elitism (FYI: it don’t mean shit). For “Put it in Your Bag” this week Estephanie talks about the education documentary “Class Divided” and Lina is obsessed with Lizzo’s new song “Truth Hurts.” Finally for rotating themes we’re bringing back MUSICALS! Or something like them. As always thank you for listening and find the links below! Don’t forget to check out Sudio and use our promo code for a 15% discount off your purchase!
