Todd joined Cobalt Ventures LLC (which he previously co-founded) full-time in 2000. Cobalt developed real estate, invested in operating businesses, and was a dealer of classic cars. 2010 Todd founded the indiGO Auto Group. Todd served as Founder, CEO and Dealer Principal from January 2010-July 2020. IndiGO's rapid growth began with the acquisition of Porsche North Houston in 2010, followed by Lamborghini Houston in 2011. Rancho Mirage's Desert European Motorcars (franchises for Porsche, Audi, Jaguar, Land Rover, Rolls-Royce, Aston Martin, Bentley, Lamborghini, and McLaren) was acquired by indiGO in 2013. 2015, Todd consolidated two former Porsche dealerships in St. Louis, Missouri, to form Porsche St. Louis. BMW of Palm Springs was added in 2016. In July 2017, indiGO was awarded the Rolls-Royce North Houston franchise. October of 2017, Todd formed a strategic alliance with Pon Holdings of the Netherlands. With this transaction, Pon became the largest investor in the indiGO Auto Group. December 2017, indiGO acquired Jaguar Riverside. In November 2019, indiGO acquired Porsche Marin, Audi Marin, and Volkswagen Marin, and in December acquired McLaren Houston. After selling the balance of his interest in the business to Pon Holdings at the end of 2019, Todd continued to serve on the board of the company before his retirement from indiGO in July 2020. During his time in the industry, Todd served Porsche Cars North America as a Board of Regent, the Aston Martin of the Americas Dealer Advisory Panel, the BMW Western Region Business Council, and The Presidential Cabinet for Bentley USA. 2020 Todd formed Lapis Management in Houston. Todd was appointed a board seat as a director at Kataman Metals in St Louis.
