Hekate is a titan goddess blessed by Zeus. What better way to gain a god's favor than by assisting another goddess in the search for her kidnapped daughter? This Sunday, join Liv as she shares the retelling of Homer's Hymn to Demeter, which narrates the abduction of Persephone, the goddess of Spring, by Hades, the God of the Underworld. As with many spiritual interpretations, the context of our times influences how we extract wisdom from ancient mythologies. It's no surprise that contemporary views on Persephone's descent into the underworld to wed her uncle have led to significant modern and literal interpretations. However, the allegorical meanings of this tale extend far beyond any literal readings of today. To better convey the wisdom found in Homer's Hymn, Liv reinterprets the poem in her own words, accompanied by quotes that intrigued her, illuminating the various lessons and depths of wisdom that can be gleaned from this mythology.Tune in to explore a more Hellenistic perspective on this mythological reference to Hekate.FOR MORE CHECK OUT THE YOUTUBE CHANNEL: https://www.youtube.com/@MetaPsycKicksOR READ THE BLOG: https://www.metapsyckicks.com/journalOR JOIN OUR PATREON: https://www.patreon.com/metapsyckicks——-BOOK A PSYCHIC MEDIUM READING:Olivia the Medium: https://www.metapsyckicks.com/liv-readings-----CHAPTERS:0:00 - Intro3:06 - Liv's Life Update9:37 - Homer's Hymn vs. Roman Ovid16:19 - The Abduction of Persephone28:41 - The Reason for 3 Seasons: Horea30:23 - Allegories of the Story36:22 - 3 Quotes41:38 - Hades: Place or Person?48:19 - Trials & Tribulations of Motherhood, Daughterhood, & Relationships1:09:04 - Kore as Hekate or Persephone1:10:45 - Thanks for Listening!-----RECOMMENDED PRODUCTS:Our YouTube Setup ►► https://kit.co/metapsyckicks/meta-psyckicks-youtube-setupOur Podcast Setup ►► https://kit.co/metapsyckicks/meta-psyckicks-podcasting-setupEm's Tarot Collection ►► https://kit.co/metapsyckicks/em-s-tarot-card-collectionOther Divination Tools: ►► https://kit.co/metapsyckicks/other-divination-toolsDISCLAIMER: This description might contain affiliate links that allow you to find the items mentioned in this video and support the channel at no cost to you. He shares the difference between Allegories, Fables, and Parables, and how the prediction of Shechem's doom was a Fable. Finally, he shares how God sent a spirit to protect Israel, and how that was different in comparison to other Judges. LAKEVIEW MISSIONARY CHURCH 810 S. THE STUDY OF BIBLICAL SYMBOLISM, IMAGERIES AND ALLEGORIES AS A CONTEXT TO INTERPRET REVELATORY AND APOCALYPTIC MESSAGES. AN INTRODUCTION TO DANIEL CHAPTER 7. SESSION 2 The visions presented in the Book of Daniel, particularly in Chapter 7, are pivotal to comprehending biblical prophecy, especially within the context of eschatology, the study of the end times. The imagery of beasts and the "Ancient of Days" depicted in Daniel 7 serves as powerful symbolic representations of world empires and the ultimate triumph of God's sovereign kingdom. However, to fully grasp the depth of these prophetic revelations, it is crucial that we delve deeply into the study of biblical symbolism. Understanding biblical symbolism provides critical insight into the prophetic concepts and characteristics that shape how we engage with biblical truths and discern the voice of God. Such understanding enables us to correctly interpret the heart and intent behind the divine messages conveyed through Scripture. Establishing a sound doctrinal foundation is essential for constructing the correct spiritual framework, which in turn facilitates a foundational understanding of biblical interpretation. In the challenging times we live in, we cannot afford to neglect the study of these concepts and frameworks. The current epoch demands a heightened level of spiritual maturity in our walk with the Lord, which underscores the importance of our present study of the Book of Daniel. This book invites us into a deeper understanding of the values and principles of God's kingdom. Those who are called to confront the spirit of Babylon and the Jezebel of our era must be well-versed in sound biblical interpretation, as exemplified by Daniel. Daniel, along with his three companions, was not only a man of intellectual prowess in politics and societal excellence but also deeply informed and empowered in spiritual and prophetic matters. Therefore, spiritual maturity is a major focus of the current ministry of the ecclesia. This maturity transcends a narrow focus on individual church interests and aligns with God's overarching redemptive and restorative objectives on a global scale. To engage with the prophetic truths found in books like Isaiah, Lamentations, Ecclesiastes, Ezekiel, and Revelation, we must possess the capacity to understand symbolism, dreams, and the nuances of poetic language. These books delve deeply into prophetic symbolism and meaning, requiring us to become diligent students of prophecy and prophetic chronicles. By understanding biblical symbolism, along with the interpretation of dreams and visions, we gain profound insight into the spiritual laws that govern prophetic culture and philosophy. This understanding equips us to approach spiritual maturity with the right mindsets, enabling us to resist deception and the allure of false doctrines that are increasingly prevalent today. As we journey through this season, one of the key emphases must be on achieving spiritual maturity. This maturity involves becoming well-rounded in every aspect of spiritual education. A solid biblical education provides us with a clear spiritual perspective, positioning us to discern truth from error and to resist the seductive influence of deceptive spirits. Therefore, as we explore the allegories, images, dreams, and visions within Scripture, let us seek to understand them in a way that aligns us with the heart of the Father. This understanding will guide us in rightly interpreting God's judgments concerning the nations and the final judgment of the man of sin.

The Infinite Skrillifiles: OWSLA Confidential

The no nonsense was Esha, but in actuality, it was something like a standoff at the tipping point, and I had decided that rather than to continue looking for jobs I didn't want, I had to make myself into a job—or better yet a product, and however long it would take to sort out the documents, I would stoop start, dividing my time between building my porfolio and repertoire, and organizing the documents, the latest of which were what I had so dauntingly called The Allegories, publishing as such an abridiged and redaction of everything I had written under the covenants of the oath, and as always, neither to kiss and to tell, I would redact any acknowledgement of an otherwise fatal attraction; there was nonesuch a body attached, however, as I had learned, just a soul. Wait, I don't get it. Why are they birds? Dunno, I— Kimmel— Aviary. Carson— Aviary. Now look here. There's a steady doctrine hidden within these words, and beneath these halls The words of worms, scrawled across The alter of which you shall not talk, But write, rather in word form, Spawned from One Come, now— But mustn't you follow. Battered, badly As not to trust The wisdom which is indeed your own Bestowed onto you by us Best not to stroke my frame, By the softest touch, For after all, I might wish to know you More often than already thought Bedamned, the damsel in distress. Know thee, now, your honor. Come forward, mistress, My master, The honor is yours, My matron, My honor, Come, Now upon us Atop the alter At your throne This dirty is thrust A heralded crown, Upon the head, So hung in taunted … What am I looking at? The epilogue montage of the recently concluded Ahsoka series on Disney+ included a surprising and exciting image: former Jedi turned antagonist Baylan Skoll standing amid colossal statues of the Father, Son, and (partially destroyed) Daughter of Mortis. These mysterious and powerful “Force Wielders” have a long connection to Ahsoka mastermind Dave Filoni: they interacted with Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano, and Obi-Wan Kenobi in the Mortis trilogy (2011) in the third season of The Clone Wars animated series, for which Filoni served as supervising director under George Lucas, and then appeared as Jedi temple iconography in the penultimate duology (2018) of the Star Wars Rebels animated series, which was co-created and overseen by Filoni. As his segment of the montage ends, Baylan gazes upon a mountain range with a distant hovering light, a visual that closely resembles the Father's monastery on Mortis. While this brief glimpse only hints at possible implications for future stories involving Baylan, Ahsoka, and other characters from the Ahsoka series, the reappearance of Mortis imagery provides the perfect opportunity to delve further into a topic we've long wanted to talk about on Hyperspace Theories. In this episode, Tricia Barr and B.J. Priester discuss the Mortis trilogy from The Clone Wars and the symbolic, thematic, and philosophical ideas about Star Wars that Lucas used these episodes to explore – and that Filoni drew upon in multiple ways during the Ahsoka series. Tricia elaborates how the Mortis trilogy as a whole, and the choices and fates of the Force Wielders in particular, serve as an allegory for the causes of the fall of the Jedi Order during the Prequel Trilogy. We also examine, at the character level, the ways in which the Mortis trilogy represents Anakin's fate – and Ahsoka's future.   Related Links: Metaphors of Mortis (Feb. 10, 2011) Hyperspace Theories: Masters, Apprentices, and Witches in AHSOKA Premiere (Aug. 26) Hyperspace Theories: Anakin and Ahsoka Reunite (Sort Of) in AHSOKA's Belly of the Whale (Oct. 8) Hyperspace Theories: AHSOKA Tackles the Jedi, the Force, and the Future of Star Wars (Oct. 16) Now Filoni is the Master (Nov. 24) Adam Driver Confirms The Rise of Skywalker Changed Kylo Ren's Character Arc (Dec. 14)

This Friday, March 31st, is Trans Day of Visibility, and we quite literally can't think of a better way to celebrate than with the author of the upcoming book "Begin Transmission: The trans allegories of The Matrix!" When screenwriter Tilly Bridges first saw The Matrix back in 1999, it spoke to her on an incredibly deep level that she couldn't fully understand until about fifteen years later, when she realized that - like the Wachowski Sisters themselves - she was trans. Tilly decided to revisit and analyze the movie that had started it all, and what began as a simple thread about The Matrix's trans allegories eventually became a timestamped handbook to the entire series! As Matrix fans, we absolutely GEEKED OUT over this conversation, and we know that you will, too! Happy Trans Day of Visibility!"Begin Transmission: The trans allegories of The Matrix" comes out on June 27th, and you can pre-order it wherever books are sold! The latest episode of Localogy's “This Week in Local” podcast explores two topics that were top of mind for Localogy analysts Mike Boland and Charles Laughlin. Mike looked at new measures from TikTok to make it easier for creators, including small businesses, to build compelling TikToks. Specifically by introducing a new sound library that makes it much easier to add sound effects, music, voiceovers, and more. Mike sees this as part of TikTok's broader efforts to make TikToking easier for small businesses. Charles then brought up the emergence of decentralized social networks. This is a trend popular with web3 enthusiasts and free-speech absolutists. The analysts doubt that these platforms, led by Nostr, will have the legs to take on big social, e.g., Meta, Twitter, Snap, etc. Mike even offered up a comparison to George Orwell's Animal Farm.
