Questa lezione ripercorre alcune trasformazioni della figura dell'insegnante tra l'Unità d'Italia e il dopoguerra, mettendo in luce come la scuola abbia contribuito alla formazione di un ceto intellettuale diffuso e alla creazione di reti culturali e processi di integrazione nazionale. Mario Isnenghi è professore emerito di Storia contemporanea presso l'Università Ca' Foscari di Venezia e presidente onorario dell'Iveser, Istituto veneziano per la storia della Resistenza e della società contemporanea. Ha insegnato anche presso l'Università di Padova e l'Università di Torino, oltre che presso i licei. In this episode, we discuss an account of an historic battle, which is commemorated annually on the 17th of Ramadan across all Muslim countries: the Battle of Badr 624AD. The film has been created by the Bellum et Historia channel, released on 16 November 2024, and made in Total War Atilla and other games, using various mods. På Livrustkammaren i Stockholm belyser utställningen Slaget om Europa kriget och konsten hur tätt de två sakerna hör samman. Både förr och nu. Lyssna på alla avsnitt i Sveriges Radio Play. Fokus för utställningen ligger i Det trettioåriga kriget, som rasade mellan 1618 och 1648 och kallas Europas värsta före världskrigen på 1900-talet. I det kriget avled omkring åtta miljoner människor och mängder av konst och kulturföremål stals mellan makterna. Även konstnärerna själva blev del av den här symboliska striden: rörde sig mellan olika nationer, tjänstgjorde vid furstar och krigsherrars hov och hade ibland vissa diplomatiska uppgifter.Utställningen är resultatet av det stora europeiska museisamarbetet ”Bellum et Artes”, Krig och konst. Projektledaren Jonas Lindwall visar på en datorskärm hur stora europeiska konstnärer vid den här tiden flyttade sig, med eller mot sin vilja, över kontinenten och porträtterade av Gustav II Adolf och många andra krigsherrar.Dessutom berättar intendenten Sofia Nestor om några av utställningens mest braskande föremål, från den svenske kungens blodiga skjorta till en prålig smyckeskudde med brokig historia.
