Het Iraanse regime probeert critici binnen de Iraanse diaspora het zwijgen op te leggen, ook in Nederland. Deze repressie gaat verder dan intimidatie en bedreigingen: mishandelingen en zelfs liquidaties worden niet geschuwd. Een schrijnend voorbeeld hiervan is de moord op de Iraanse politiek activist Ahmad Mola Nissi in 2017. Hij werd op klaarlichte dag in Den Haag doodgeschoten. Ondanks dat de AIVD op de hoogte was van de dreiging en Mola Nissi meerdere keren alarm sloeg bij de politie, kreeg hij geen bescherming. Nieuw onderzoek van Investico laat zien dat de Nederlandse overheid weinig lijkt te hebben geleerd van deze tragedie. The usual puppets of Israel, the United States are chomping at the bit for World War 3 as well, so it's not surprising that they seem to be taking up Israel on this request considering they've already sent THAAD air defense and thousands of troops to Israel. In 2001, Benjamin Netanyahu lobbied the US Congress to go to war with Iraq, fabricating the excuse that Iraq had "weapons of mass destruction." This lie lead to over 2 million deaths. Now, Israel wants the United States sending their young men to die for Israel in the region once again in their attack on Iran as Israelis joke on social media about how their plan is to kill all non-Talmudics and devastate the region. This is a sick, evil genocide. Israel continues to attack hospitals in Gaza to "attack Hamas" which they funded in the first place under the guise of "justice" for the October 7th attack which was a false flag by Israel. They continue to pummel Lebanon under the guise of attacking Hezbollah despite blowing up residential buildings and not even killing Hezbollah. They also continue to bomb small towns where Hezbollah isn't known to be while putting down the Israeli flag and claiming parts of southern Lebanon. Both Trump and Kamala have essentially committed to war with Iran for their masters in Israel. This will end when people reject the state and stop funding it. People need to withdraw from statism and begin being self reliant. This means not depending on bank accounts, or their grid or their food supply but instead preparing accordingly. This is the Catch Up on 3 Things for the Indian Express and I'm Flora Swain.It's the 4th of June and here are today's headlines.With the NDA poised to form the government for a third consecutive time, bagging at least 290 seats, Prime Minister Narendra Modi called it a “historic feat”. As the INDIA bloc managed to halt the BJP's march towards majority, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi came out to hit out at the BJP, saying that the mandate today was a clear indication that the people of the country do not want to PM Modi and Amit Shah to run the country. The Opposition INDIA bloc has reversed all exit poll predictions, leading in at least 228 seats, according to the latest numbers. However, despite a stiff contest, the BJP-led NDA is inching closer towards the 300-mark, standing at 297 at the moment.In what is probably the biggest upset state-wise, the tug-of-war for Odisha between BJP and BJD ended today with the Bharatiya Janata Party set to form the next government. Though the ruling BJD party hels various rallies and election campaigns, the saffron party has crossed the majority mark of 74. Odisha CHief Minister Naveen Patnaik served for five consecutive terms, but now the lotus party will form its first cabinet in the coastal state.In a major setback for the BJP, Union minister Smriti Irani lost to the Congress's K L Sharma in Amethi, as Congress wrest back power. The Amethi win comes as a big boost to the Congress, with Rahul Gandhi losing the seat to Irani in 2019. In neighbouring Rae Bareli, a Congress party bastion for decades, Rahul defeated BJP candidate Dinesh Pratap Singh, who apologised to the people of Rae Bareli.Behind the remarkable turnaround for the Opposition Samajwadi Party and Congress in Uttar Pradesh where the INDIA bloc was leading, some fascinating factors may have given them an upper hand over the BJP. One of the factors that may have worked in favour of the SP, is its ticket-distribution strategy. Unlike previous elections, the SP ticket distribution focused on non-Yadav OBCs. Also, the SP changed candidates in several constituencies, depending on feedback from local cadre and local caste equation.The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and its allies, the JanaSena Party (JSP) of Pawan Kalyan and BJP, are headed for a landslide in Andhra Pradesh, in what is a complete reversal of the 2019 results. This is quite a turnaround for the TDP-led alliance, which was almost written off months before the elections after its chief N Chandrababu Naidu's arrest. O Ibovespa à vista e futuro oscilou mais do que teste de polígrafo em fimle americano para fechar perto do zero com os seguintes drivers em direções opostas: 1. Dólar subiu nos EUA, mas caiu -0,46% aqui para R$ 4,92 de R$ 4,93 ontem; 2. juros subiram um pouco aqui e caiu lá, de 4,25% para 4,19% com menos emprego que esperado. Nasdaq subiu, mas Dow caiu; 3. PIB do 3T23 subiu quase nada, 0,10%, mas o esperado era queda de -0,20%. Isso levou investidores a comprarem varejista, construtoras e bancos vendendo Petro e Vale. 2º. O petróleo queda de -1% para US$ 77,3 dentro da volatilidade diária de -/+1%, com dúvidas sobre a demanda de petróleo em dezembro. 3º. O minério leve queda -0,40% aos US$ 135,4 dentro da volatilidade diária de +/-1%. 4º. Nos EUA, as bolsas fecharam mistas com Nasdaq +0,31%% e Dow -0,22% liderada pela Procter -3,5%, Goldman -2% e Dow -2%.. 5o.
