We had the pleasure of speaking with Rizwan Malik. Selling swanky suites and homes to satisfy and serve – say that ten times fast. That's what realtor extraordinaire Rizwan Malik does every day in his job, and the roots go far back. As a teenager, he worked at a pet shop where not only did his love of animals grow, but his selling skills did, too. And that passion for sales and innate go-getter spirit only continued to flourish throughout his life. Rizwan moved to Toronto in 1994, long before Drake dubbed the city “The 6ix.” While completing his bachelor's degree in Commerce at Ryerson University, Rizwan earned his real estate license and eventually was named the youngest Vice President of Sales ever at Sotheby's International Realty Canada. If that wasn't noteworthy enough, in 2020 Rizwan's charm, charisma, and extensive expertise in real estate saw him cast as one of the hosts on HGTV Canada's Hot Market where he helped affluent clientele find their dream homes. If you've had the pleasure of meeting Rizwan, you know he was born to be in front of the camera where his outgoing personality couples fabulously with his vast knowledge base. Rizwan shares with us his opinion on how COVID has impacted the Luxury Market.

Chapter 1
Your house is really out to get you. So say three Canadians from HGTV Canada, and they have the propane-filled air mattresses to prove it. Our three "experts" go to great lengths to prove the most dangerous things you can own are a bag of flour, a tiki bar, and a ceiling fan, but all they really prove is that the stupid was inside themselves all along. If you really want to be afraid of something, be afraid of these chuckleheads and their air cannon. Along the way, we'll take a hard look at our polite neighbor to the north, and ponder whether this terribly lackluster entertainment is the price you pay for things like no one having to go bankrupt for medical care. We're suffering through and reporting back on House Hazards, available to stream on for free for Amazon Prime members. If you enjoy our podcast, please rate, review, subscribe, or tell a friend!
