Siddhi: Wisdom — a deep stillness that isn't something to know, but something to be. Through personal stories—from navigating storms to cooking in the dark—we reveal how life's unexpected moments can become portals to presence and self-trust. How often do we let feelings of inadequacy keep us from stepping into God's plans? In Judges 6:11-18 and Exodus 3:2-15, we see how Gideon and Moses struggled with doubt, yet God still called them to greatness. In this message, Pastor Khalid reveals how self-perceived inadequacies train us to stay hidden and lock us out of God's purpose. Jesus Followers Have, Are, and Will Face Derision, Persecution, and Death; But God Addresses “Impossible” Situations and Transforms Lives MESSAGE SUMMARY: The Apostles did not get into their life roles, after Jesus Resurrection and Ascension, without much grief and anguish; but Jesus transformed their lives. God addresses impossible situations in our lives, too; and then He transforms our lives, through His grace, into something of beauty. Jesus' Cross was an impossible situation, but now we view the Cross as a sign of triumph -- our triumph as believers and followers of Jesus! In John 10:27-30, Jesus succinctly describes how He transforms the lives of those that follow Him: “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand. I and the Father are one.”. Additionally, in today's uncertainties and fears and with the new and uncharted paths that our life today demands that we follow, Paul, in Colossians 1:5-6, gives us hope through God's Grace and the Gospel: “because of the hope laid up for you in heaven. Of this you have heard before in the word of the truth, the gospel, which has come to you, as indeed in the whole world it is bearing fruit and growing—as it also does among you, since the day you heard it and understood the grace of God in truth". TODAY'S PRAYER: Father, when I think about my losses, it can feel like I have no skin to protect me. I feel raw, scraped to the bone. Looking at Job and Jesus helps, but I must admit that I struggle to see something new being birthed out of the old. Enlarge my soul through the trials and losses of my life. In Jesus' name, amen. Scazzero, Peter. Emotionally Healthy Spirituality Day by Day (p. 101). Zondervan. Kindle Edition. TODAY'S AFFIRMATION: Because of who I am in Jesus Christ, I will not be driven by Inadequacy. Rather, I will abide in the Lord's Abundance. “I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in Me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing.” (John 15:5). My friend who listens to your show often recommended me to talk to you. I've seen videos and read your book. I am stuck on the treadmill of life. My wife got pregnant while we were 18 with my son. We got married and life has been hard ever since.Early 30s, 5 ft 10, dark hair/eyes, fit lean build, young lookingTL;DRI feel like a pathetic loser and single father. I know I'll be bitter forever but can't bring myself to finally leave her. None of my family/friends know other than 1 friend. Talked to lawyers. All of her friends/family/client's know. I see them and am ashamed. I have the lowest self respect ever. She has been berating meyears. She won't let me lead in any aspect. I have no frame. Why am I like this? Do I think I had my shot so now I need to take care of my sons? I don't want to see my kid's half as often? Is it because I've never been with another girl? Do I worry about her finding a new man or I won't find a new girl? How can I look my sons in the eye and tell them I wasn't strong enough to do what I recommend for them? She says she loves me. I love her, but this seems really unhealthy. Where is my masculine desire to leave? Am I the problem? Is she? Does she have BPD?Backstory timeline:High school, sophomore year. Checked out from the relationship. We find out she's pregnant (with my kid) and decide we can make it work. She wants to stop counseling (but not tell the counselor she's pregnant.) I move into her apartment and shortly thereafter she has a stillborn birth at 26 weeks. We buy a house together and fix it up before moving in. She starts giving off hints that she doesn't think our relationship will work. She decides to try and make it work but in order to do so she needs to tell the truth. She tells me that the guy is a friend of mine. Tells me she loves me more than ever. Cries because our sex is so good.A few months ago she went to a concert with a girlfriend. Got blackout drunk, ended up kissing a random guy in a parking garage. She says I should leave her. At the time I didn't really care. What's one more on the record?I had been consuming red pill content over the past year and a half.We find out our toddler is Autistic. Therapy/school is expensive. We talk, she starts being better. God Is Focused a Jesus Follower's Heart, and He Changes Their Thinking and Attitude Through a Change in Their Heart MESSAGE SUMMARY: God makes you a new creation through your new heart created by an indwelling of the Holy Spirit in your life. God is interested in your heart, and He wants you to have a righteous heart– God changes your thinking and your attitude through a change in your heart. In Romans 8:26-27, Paul describes the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in Jesus Followers resulting in a new person, with a new heart, in Jesus: “Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.". As a Jesus Follower, you are salt and light, comes from your righteousness – not just in deed and appearance but, also, in your inner person -- your heart. TODAY'S PRAYER: Unclutter my heart, O God, until I am quiet enough to hear you speak out of the silence. Help me in these few moments to stop, to listen, to wait, to be still, and to allow your presence to envelop me. In Jesus' name, amen. Scazzero, Peter. Send me a Text Message!Personal power isn't something external—it's the ability to trust, believe in, and fully own who you are from the inside out. In this episode, Mike Kitko shares his personal journey from self-destruction and internal bankruptcy to radical self-mastery and empowerment. He breaks down the four voices that shape your life—three that disempower you and one that fuels your highest potential. Most people try to chase wealth, success, and external validation to cover up deep-seated feelings of insecurity, inadequacy, and insignificance, but true power comes from dissolving these inner conflicts, not masking them. If you've ever felt like you're not enough, not worthy, or stuck in patterns of self-doubt and struggle, this episode will challenge you to look within and step into the highest version of yourself.Key TakeawaysYour external world is a reflection of your internal state. If you don't feel powerful inside, no amount of wealth, success, or validation will change that. The three voices of survival mode—Insecurity, Inadequacy, and Insignificance—keep you trapped in fear and self-doubt. Recognizing them is the first step toward dissolving them. The voice of inspiration is the only voice that leads to true power. It tells you that you are enough, worthy, and capable of anything you desire.Personal power comes from self-mastery. Healing internal conflicts and rewriting the stories you tell yourself is how you unlock real freedom, wealth, and success. You were not put on this earth to play small. The world needs you to step into your power and make an impact.Notable Quotes“Personal power isn't built by chasing success—it's built by mastering yourself.”“Insecurity, inadequacy, and insignificance are the voices that keep you small. When you silence them, you become unstoppable.”“Nothing outside of you can fix what's happening inside of you. If you don't believe in yourself now, no achievement or external success will change that.”“True freedom, wealth, and success are unlocked when you own who you are and step fully into your personal power.”“Are you personally powerful, or are you still living in the feelings of insecurity, inadequacy, and insignificance?”Music Credit: "What's Left of Me" by Wes Hoffman & FriendsClick here to access details about the February 21-22, 2025 in-person Choose Your Destiny Live Intensive just outside of St. Louis, MO.Click here to visit our website to access free tools and resources, our Meditation Bundle, upcoming events, and our coaching service offerings. My Social Media:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/mikekitkoInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/mike_kitkoTiktok: https://www.tiktok.com/@mikekitkoSubscribe to my YouTube: / @mikekitkoMike Kitko is an executive self-mastery coach, speaker and author. Are the Ten Commandments, God's Law which He Gave to Us, Becoming Irrelevant for America? MESSAGE SUMMARY: Today, are we saying that the Ten Commandments are irrelevant for America? Are the Ten Commandments becoming illegal in America? If so, why? As a nation, we no longer teach or practice the Ten Commandments. We have made it illegal to post the Ten Commandments, which are God's Law to us, on most walls of our courts and government schools. From a spiritual perspective, how can God, the Creator of the Universe, bless a nation which mocks and/or ignores Him? Paul, in Galatians 6:6-7, cautions both us and our governments regarding the mocking of God: “Let the one who is taught the word share all good things with the one who teaches. Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap.”. From a practical perspective, how can a society and a government function when their foundation has been removed? Our form of government was founded on the ethical base of the Ten Commandments. The Ten Commandments were in the thoughts and cultural norms of the people that created our country. TODAY'S PRAYER: Lord, everything in me resists following you into the garden of Gethsemane to fall on my face to the ground before you. Grant me the courage to follow you all the way to the cross, whatever that might mean for my life. And then, by your grace, lead me to resurrection life and power. In Jesus' name, amen. In this fourth part of exploring the emotion of inadequacy Robert asks you to look deep into your heart and begin to ask some questions to reveal how you can care for your feelings of inadequacy specifically. Questions such as; what messages do I want to send to myself when I feel inadequate? What thoughts are most helpful to care for myself when I am in this state? When you are aware of your feelings of inadequacy, you can add this element of asking questions from your heart. Here in the thick of it, our eyes full of pixels and our veins full of microplastics, out here with the child amputees in Gaza and the frightened street schizophrenics in Los Angeles and the pigs living their whole lives in metal crates the size of their bodies, our lives ruled by algorithms and wealthy world eaters as we pray for a miracle on knees made of miracles with clasped hands made of miracles in a world made of miracles, craning our necks to see past the giant flashing signs saying "YOU ARE LOVED, YOU ARE LOVE" in order to find Defects and Inadequacy. In the thick of it, up to our ears in it, cracked wide open, wide open to the screams of mothers clutching tiny broken bodies, to the screams of men on fire, to the screams of dying coral reefs and rainforests, to the screams inside all of us saying "Something is wrong, something has gone very, very wrong," wide open to the agony but also to the beauty, to the booming holiness of the earth and the sky, to the mysteries hiding in abandoned buildings, to the noble pigeons whose pristine minds know nothing of Elon Musk, to that place of tenderness within all of us which we cover with shields and armor and feigned toughness and pretend confidence, feeling it all, letting it all in, the pain and the exaltation and the weight and the exuberance and the rage and the orgasms and the darkness and the light and the Israeli stormtroopers and their victims and the bank boys and the savage saints and that song within all of us calling us home saying "It's here! It's here! Buddha nature is here!", and blessing it all, my darling, blessing it all. Here in the thick of it, our hearts sliced open like gutted fish, we breathe in the air, exhaust fumes and all, and we realize with slowly widening eyelids that this, this is paradise. There is no Heaven but That which sits before us and beats within our chests and grows the grass and spins the galaxies, right this very waking moment, closer to us than our own skeletons which will one day be laid to rest in the soil of a revolving ball in a universe we never once in our lives understood. As a Jesus Follower” and in this “time of your life”, Have You Asked God to Walk with You? God Says, “I Am with You Always” MESSAGE SUMMARY: With your personal relationship with God, He is with you as you walk through all the times {“Seasons”} of your life, as Jesus tells us in Matthew 28:20b: “. . .I am with you always, to the end of the age.”. In Ecclesiastes 3:1-8, God tells us about all the times of our lives: “For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; a time to seek, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; a time to tear, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; a time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war, and a time for peace.". In this “time of your life”, have you asked God to walk with you? Remember, “I am with you always”. TODAY'S PRAYER: Lord Jesus, I can relate to the disciples who wanted to call down fire from heaven on the Samaritans and who fought over which of them was the greatest. Forgive my arrogance. In this third episode and guided meditation in our series on dealing with feelings of inadequacy, the focus is on developing the ability to tolerate and accept these feelings rather than suppressing or judging them. By first tolerating, then accepting, and finally welcoming the inadequacy feelings, you will no longer be frozen in a state of self-rejection over them. This will eventually allow you to move toward a state of caring for yourself when these feelings come up. • Watch the video of this episode on our YouTube channel • Download the (free) Introspective Guides • Explore our Blog at AwarenessThatHeals.org • Access our Podcast at AwarenessThatHeals.org • Visit "Awareness That Heals" on Apple Podcasts
Today, Many in America Live and Act as “enemies of the Cross of Christ” Thereby, Traveling the Road to Eternal Death MESSAGE SUMMARY: God has told us that we are His children and citizens of Heaven. To this end, God has given us the Holy Spirit as a pledge of our inheritance as His child. Also, God gave you the Holy Spirit to provide you with the power to live a Spiritual life. However, far too many continue to live and to act as “enemies of the Cross of Christ” by having their minds focused on earthly things as the lords of life. If this picture of your life-actions and life-focus describes you, then you very well may be on the road to eternal death and destruction. Therefore, you must return to Jesus and His way of doing things – Jesus' pattern of discipleship, servanthood, and submission is a path to your Salvation. Paul, in Philippians 3:18-20, defines an “enemy of the Cross of Christ: “For many, of whom I have often told you and now tell you even with tears, walk as enemies of the cross of Christ. Their end is destruction, their god is their belly, and they glory in their shame, with minds set on earthly things.". Jesus Followers have their life-focus driven by the realization that they are His child and a citizen of Heaven; therefore, you and your life-focus, as a Jesus Follower, are all precious to God since He sacrificed so much to adopt you as His child. TODAY'S PRAYER: Lord, I praise you because your love seeks my good in any and every situation. Forgive me for the seeds that I have squandered. Soften my heart to surrender to your will in and through me. In Jesus' name, amen. Scazzero, Peter. Emotionally Healthy Spirituality Day by Day (p. 120). Zondervan. Kindle Edition. Awareness That Heals introduces a focused approach to tackling challenging emotions through guided meditations. Each episode highlights one emotion, offering tools to deepen self-compassion and align self-care with environmental responses. The practice begins with cultivating pure awareness—free from being overtaken by thoughts, emotions, or sensations—empowering listeners to guide themselves more intentionally. The episode explores feelings of inadequacy, a common but often suppressed experience. By acknowledging these feelings with neutral awareness—free from judgment—we create space for self-compassion. The key is to simultaneously recognize inadequacy and foster a genuine desire to care for ourselves, transforming these moments into opportunities for growth and healing. Listeners are encouraged to practice this awareness, building their ability to care for themselves in difficult moments. To support this journey, additional resources are available at awarenessthatheals.org. "Parenting Overwhelm and a failing Marriage- I don't want to yell anymore."I am 6 months post partum with baby #3- oldest just turning 4. My body is so depleted and I am so overwhelmed and have crazy low moments emotionally. I hate myself for yelling at my kids to clean up, don't climb or touch things etc. I just flip and hate it so much. I'm a christ follower and a generally happy person but I want to dig into my broken childhood more and wrong mindsets etc to be healed. I hate yelling and so afraid I'm damaging my kids like I was. My mareiage sucks- my husband constantly chooses porn/masturbation (which we view as sin) and knows the steps to take/people to talk to deal with his junk. He doesn't take personal responsibility and whenever I express how I don't feel loved or heard etc he shuts down and turns it back on me- gaslights me making it my problem. He's constantly sarcastic and derogatory and I just feel used by him. Besides providing for us and helping with the kids some on the weekends (he works nights which I hate) I absolutely don't think he is for me or loves me. Just what I do for him. Yet he wonders why I don't want to have sex when he doesn't hear me and just says crap like "do your duty and suck it". Wtf? I'm so hurt and angry at him. My friend who listens to your show told me I need to and to try to get on a call with you. She said the real people I need to get angry with are my parents and until I dig that root out I'll just keep getting mad at the wrong people, like my kids (which she learned from you). And my husband too."I actually only listened to one episode and had various revelations. I realized that I do have crazy unrealistic expectations for my kids and deep down I think I believe no-one is for me and people are trying to hurt me. Like I'm not truly loved. People keep rejecting me. It's hard to deal with some of this when my husband doesn't this on a daily basis. :("I know my kids aren't trying to hurt me by making a mess when I worked hard to clean etc. They are just playing like kids should. But maybe I feel that deep down. I get so triggered and wasn't taught emotional regulation. I want to learn. I want to not live or think like a victim. I want to dig up whatever is causing me to be sooo triggered at a drop of a hat. I want a good marriage and to respect my husband. I don't want a divorce. I don't want to think it's all about me (a twisted version of selfishness, thinking like a victim). Ug. I feel so crazy in moments feeling like I need zoloft or something but hate the thought of that. I'm trying various natural remedies for giving my body what it needs but not much is working. "My husband even gaslit me just now. Earlier he said he wanted to have some cuddles and talk maybe when the kids go to bed. Nope. He said not at 11:30 at night... yet during the week he expects me to wake up at 3am to "spend time with him" because that's the best time for him. Then makes it my fault because I didn't wake up. Are you kidding me?! He just doesn't want to deal with stuff. And I told him I'm going to leave for 2 hours in the am to a coffee shop for alone time (which the only time I've gotten any sort of break is when his parents babysit). It's like pulling teeth for me to get a 20 min bath alone 1x a week! He says it's my job and was made for it. I am a stay at home mom. I'm allowed a freaking break. And when I just told him I was leaving for 2 hours (I normally don't unless it's a Dr apt or grocery shopping = not a true break!) He asked if I need drugs. Like anti depressants. I might but I'm allowed a break! I literally want to go to the coffee shop to read my Bible and journal and recharge some. I feel like a godly husband, like he claims and pretends to be, should be happy I want to do those things. It's hard to stay joyful with my husband the way he is. I have done inner healing prayer, some counseling from my pastor, we've done marriage retreats and intensive counseling weekends, I've done womens retreats and classes. I'm trying to read self help books etc. I just don't know what to do. I hate the way I feel inside when overwhelmed and get frustrated so easily. How can I deal with my junk and be the best mom I can be? Even if my marriage sucks."GET MY NEW BOOK 'PEACEFUL PARENTING', THE INTERACTIVE PEACEFUL PARENTING AI, AND AUDIOBOOK!https://peacefulparenting.com/Join the PREMIUM philosophy community on the web for free! Also get the Truth About the French Revolution, multiple interactive multi-lingual philosophy AIs trained on thousands of hours of my material, as well as targeted AIs for Real-Time Relationships, BitCoin, Peaceful Parenting, and Call-Ins. Today, we wrap up our week by looking at the birth of the church in Acts 2. These early believers lived dependently on the Lord. They knew that all they had was Him and their lives were centered around their Savior. What might someone else say is the center of your life? Is it on something temporary that will one day pass away, or is it the Creator of the universe who gave Himself up for you because of His infinite love? Are you feeling exhausted lately? Like, no matter what you do, you're always drained and lacking the motivation you used to have. In this episode of The Happy Hustle Podcast, I'm diving deep into what burnout really looks like, sharing my personal struggles, and, most importantly, giving you a roadmap to beat it before it beats you. Let's get real—burnout doesn't just happen overnight; it creeps in gradually, stealing your energy, enthusiasm, and sense of purpose. Here's a rundown of the signs to watch out for: Chronic Fatigue and Exhaustion: You're running on fumes daily, even after a full night's sleep. Lack of Enthusiasm for Work: What used to excite you now feels like a chore. Reduced Productivity and Focus: Your usual output has dropped, and it's hard to concentrate. Increased Cynicism or Detachment: You're feeling disconnected or even resentful. Physical Symptoms: Headaches, muscle pain—stress often manifests in your body. Trouble Sleeping: Tossing and turning at night? Burnout often disrupts your sleep. Emotional Outbursts or Mood Swings: Feeling more irritable or reactive than usual. Memory Issues and Forgetfulness: Struggling to remember simple things? Withdrawal from Social Interactions: Pulling away from friends and family. Changes in Appetite or Weight: Either overeating or losing interest in food. Increased Use of Alcohol, Caffeine, or Stimulants: Relying on “pick-me-ups.” Feeling of Inadequacy or Self-Doubt: Questioning your worth or contributions. Numbing Out with Entertainment: Binging on shows or scrolling as a distraction. Resentment Toward Work or Clients: Frustration is taking over your passion. Loss of Motivation and Purpose: That drive you had? It's feeling like a memory. If any of these hit home, don't worry—you're definitely not alone. Now, let's shift gears and talk about how you can counteract burnout and bring back your vitality.5 Key Tips to Beat Burnout and Reclaim Balance Take Regular Breaks: Schedule breaks like they're meetings! Step outside, get fresh air, and give yourself some grace to just breathe. Prioritize Sleep and Exercise: This is non-negotiable, y'all! Quality sleep and regular movement are the foundation for everything else. Reconnect with Your Why: Grab a journal and revisit your purpose. What drove you to do what you do in the first place? Reflecting on this can reignite your motivation and remind you why it's worth it. Use the S.O.U.L.M.A.P.P.I.N. Framework: In my book, we talk about assessing different areas of your life to see where you're thriving and where you're out of sync. It's a powerful tool to find out where you may need to refocus.
