It's animated high adventure as Adam and Will revisit the world of James Bond Jr., the barely remembered animated series starring the nephew of 007 that tried to redefine the world of high stakes espionage for 90s kids. Thanks to our monthly supporters Chad Droze retrodolls77 Tim Heasley
00:00:00 - The episode kicks off with casual banter, including voice strain from a concert, password-resetting jokes, and a backlog of Alex Jones clips. The hosts dive into an extended segment of Alex Jones' past rants, featuring over-the-top claims and signature outbursts. 00:10:00 - Scientific protests and funding struggles—scientists are organizing against budget cuts, with some forming a new lobbying group to influence policy. The hosts mock the idea of scientists feeling entitled to government funding and joke about dead-end research projects like studies on chimpanzee urination habits. 00:20:00 - Discussion of a study linking belief in conspiracy theories to spitefulness. The hosts argue that many official narratives, like the Nord Stream pipeline explosion or COVID-19 policies, were initially dismissed as conspiracy theories but later found merit. They criticize the mainstream framing of skepticism as irrational. 00:30:00 - Joe Rogan discussion—the hosts joke about compiling a database of Rogan's soundbites to create an AI-generated Rogan interview. They also play a clip about identifying psyops, arguing that censorship is a key indicator of psychological operations. 00:40:00 - James Bond Jr. legal case—a man named James Bond Jr. was jailed for 60 days because police thought he was lying about his name. The hosts find this absurd and discuss how tone and sarcasm can lead to police escalation. 00:50:00 - The JD Vance meme phenomenon—the internet has exploded with "fat head" JD Vance memes, depicting him as Bob Ross, a Black woman, a Halo gamer, and even a pro wrestler. The hosts react to these bizarre edits and discuss how meme culture has become a political tool. 01:00:00 - AOC's immigration comments—AOC claims that Republicans are building "private prison camp pipelines" rather than addressing immigration. The hosts criticize her misrepresentation of the legislation, pointing out how the Lakein Riley Act (named after a murdered woman) was twisted into an attack on Dreamers. 01:10:00 - Trump's speech highlights—a major line from Trump states that "all we needed was a new president" to fix the border crisis, implying Biden's executive orders caused the surge. Polling suggests many Americans found the speech entertaining and agreed with its sentiment. 01:20:00 - Trump exposes absurd government spending—in an extended segment, Trump lists billions wasted on projects like: $20 million for "Arab Sesame Street" $10 million for male circumcision in Mozambique $22 billion for free housing & cars for illegal immigrants $8 million for transgender research on mice $42 million for “social behavior change” in Uganda $250K for vegan climate action in Zambia The hosts highlight how Democrats refuse to address these wasteful expenditures. 01:30:00 - Elon Musk vs. the deep state—Democrats criticize Musk's access to IRS data, calling his team a "gang of twenty-year-olds" with dangerous oversight of private records. The hosts point out the hypocrisy, referencing Hillary Clinton's private email server scandal. They argue that government systems are outdated, and Musk's involvement might actually improve efficiency. 01:40:00 - Ian Crossland on Joe Rogan—Rogan interviews Ian Crossland from Timcast, discussing controlled opposition and how Alex Jones has been consistently right for decades. They recall Jones' early coverage of staged provocateurs at protests, suggesting history is repeating itself. 01:50:00 - PizzaGate discussion resurfaces—They revisit the weird Instagram posts of James Alefantis, archived evidence, and how the media intentionally misrepresented the scandal to discredit the investigation. They highlight Podesta's art collection and Marina Abramovic's connections. 02:00:00 - "Do Americans pee in the shower?"—A new study claims 25% of Americans pee in the shower, leading to jokes about government funding wasted on ridiculous research. This week we watched the first episode of the 1991 animated series James Bond Jr., a show about James Bond's brother, James Bond, sending his son, also James Bond, to school. A school for spies? We're not sure, but Jaws is there, so how bad could it be? Music: Codename Dougwood by Shane Ivers - https://www.silvermansound.com/
Today, we're suiting up for a Bond-themed extravaganza, exploring the coolest gadgets and rides from 007's arsenal, diving into the latest Bond flick, and taking a nostalgic trip with a unique twist on the franchise for the younger audience. We wanted to chat about Bond Girls. But maybe that's just not ok any more. So instead we landed on gadgets and vehicles. Can you think of any favourites?Next, we're dissecting "No Time to Die," Daniel Craig's swan song as James Bond. This film brings a mix of old-school Bond elements with a modern twist. Rami Malek's chilling villain, the emotional depth, and of course, some jaw-dropping action sequences – there's so much to discuss. We'll delve into how this film wraps up Craig's tenure as 007 and how it sets a new direction for the franchise. Finally, for the kiddos, let's talk about "James Bond Jr." This animated series might not have the same high-stakes drama as the films, but it's a fun, kid-friendly take on the Bond universe. James Bond's nephew, with gadgets and charisma in tow, tackles villains and saves the day. It's a great introduction to the world of espionage for the little ones, with just the right amount of action and adventure. So, whether you're a die-hard Bond fan or just enjoy the occasional spy thriller, today's episode is packed with intrigue, analysis, and, as always, a healthy dose of Dad humor. Tune in to Bad Dads Film Review for our take on all things Bond!

On this week's Richard Crouse Show we meet Matt Bauer. He is the director of “The Other Fellow,” a new documentary that asks a simple question, “What would it be like to share your name with legendary movie spy James Bond?” It is the untold story of the real James Bond[s], people like a Swedish superfan who changed his name to James Bond and opened his own James Bond Museum, a South Bend, Indiana man, James Bond Jr. whose life has been marred by several police officers who refuse to believe the name is real and other Bonds in Vancouver, Toronto, London, Denver, Guyana, Europe, the US and Baghdad. All are bound by being in that looming shadow of James Bond and the movie, The Other Fellow, explains how it creates an identity crisis like no other. Then, Darron Cardoza stops by. If that name doesn't ring a bell, perhaps you know him by his on-line name, The Bitchy Waiter. He is a long time New York City restaurant worker, an actor and a writer. His popular blog and social media sites are the voice for restaurant workers around the world. He says out loud what most people in the restaurant industry are only allowed to think.
Director and co-writer of the documentary The Other Fellow Matthew Bauer and a man named James Bond Jr. joins us to discuss the lives of real life guys, Bond Jr. included, who share the name of the iconic fictional character!

In this episode, we revisit two of the best-loved James Bond games ever as they come up on 20 years since release. How does it involve the story of the Irish animation industry? And will this be more fun to discuss than initially expected? Keep your ears peeled and find out before it's too late agent, and do stop by the lab on your way out for a cunningly concealed Post-Podcast Repaste!Listen up!
Hello dear listeners! James Bond lore is replete with missed opportunities, "what ifs", and close calls. If only someone had the wherewithal to research, investigate, and collect all of those glorious potential stories into a single compendium. There is such a person in fact! This week on the show we welcome filmmaker, documentarian, writer Mark Edlitz, who in late 2020 published "The Lost Adventures of James Bond: Timothy Dalton's Third and Fourth Bond Films, James Bond Jr...& Other Unmade or Forgotten 007 Projects." Whoah, that title is bit of a mouthful but that's only because there is a goldmine of brilliant content from the front cover (courtesy of fan favourite artist Sean Longmore) to the back. Mark was more than generous to spend some time with Matt and Edgar on a Sunday afternoon to discuss the his journey as a writer and Bond fan, the book's genesis, as well as plenty of juicy tidbits. We won't spoil too much for the listeners, nor do we in the episode itself, but among the sensational teases are Dalton's comedically tinged Bond film, Sean Connery vs a Yeti monster, Tobe Stephens' multifaceted vocal interpretations of James Bond, and more James Bond Jr. behind the scenes content than most people would ever guess they could read about. So sit back, relax, and come with us as we imagine how all these forgotten, misplaced, and never made stories play in our heads. Check out Mark Edlitz online on Twitter at https://twitter.com/MarkEdlitz or at http://www.markedlitz.com Make sure to purchase a copy of "The Lost Adventures of James Bond" on Amazon!
Join us as we watch the next two episodes of James Bond Jr together as a group experience. For this episode, we resurrect an oft-forgotten relic of the canon - James Bond Jr - as it celebrates its 30th anniversary this year. Whether you grew up seeing it on TV, or have never watched it before, we over-analyze the contents of the third and fourth episodes and ask the questions nobody has before, such as: Which Felix is Gordo's dad? Who cemented in the Pentagon? What typeface makes its debut in the Bond series? Who prefers a rear entrance? What internet term applies to Gordo? And David cracks the problem of how to smuggle the world's largest diamond. You can watchalong with us via these YouTube videos: Episode 03: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7SqaROscJXE Episode 04: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bGs-5v3XdMM The recording took place on January 8th, 2021 in the USA, UK, Spain, and New Zealand. Never Too Young to Die is by far one of the craziest movies to ever appear on the bin. John Stamos as James Bond Jr., Gene Simmons in drag, Mike has a personal connection to one of the crew members, and Daniel gives the worst/best van theory in the history of the Grindbin.
It's another random re-watch episode this week as we bring you a special crossover episode with our sister show Double Oz Seven to look at the very first episode of the iconic kids show James Bond Jr with the episode The Beginning. Were kids dumber in the early 90s to actually understand why this was a show? What is the deal with fat Jaws? Why does it take half this episode just to introduce all 5034 characters? Does Felix Leiter really work for James Bond or is that just offensive? What is the deal with Gordo Leiter's mullet? Why do all the characters look different from the movies? Why was Ben caught out watching Pinky & The Brain as a kid? Does anything work in this show from a continuity point of view from all the James Bond series in general? And is this more watchable than Die Another Day? It's an odd(job) of an episode and you know those are the best ones to listen to! So tune in!★ Support this podcast on Patreon ★
