We moeten niet meer maar MINDER gaan werken vindt Paul Schenderling. In 2030 moeten we een 30-urige werkweek hebben. Minder salaris dus, maar meer geluk stelt hij. Jona van Loenen is het daar zeer mee oneens. Op zijn beurt wil hij dat ministers en staatssecretarissen een veel hoger salaris krijgen. Alleen op die manier krijgen we de beste bestuurders. Dus geen 2 ton per jaar, maar minstens het dubbele stelt hij.

Het kabinet Jetten heeft besloten dat bankiers een hogere bonus mogen krijgen. Prima, vindt Jona van Loenen. Maar dan moet er ook een malus aan verbonden worden als ze slechte resultaten boeken. EN: kappen met de belastingvoordelen voor de rijkste 1% Nederlanders. Paul Schenderling vindt dat ze daadwerkelijke de zwaarste lasten moeten gaan dragen in plaats van alsmaar rijker worden dankzij al dan niet schimmige belastingvoordelen. Kortom, weer twee prikkelende stellingen van deze economische moraalridders in een nieuwe aflevering van Geld of je Leven.

Deze week in The Trueman Show: Jona Walk Wat gebeurt er als je als arts ziet dat de wetenschap niet klopt met wat er op tv wordt gezegd? En wat als je besluit dat te zeggen, wetende dat het je carrière kan kosten? In deze aflevering gaan we in gesprek met Jona Walk, arts in opleiding tot internist en onderzoeker in immunologie en infectieziekten aan het Radboudumc. Ze deelt hoe ze vanuit haar eigen vakgebied al vroeg zag dat het coronavaccinatiebeleid niet klopte, hoe ze besloot zich uit te spreken en wat dat haar kostte. We spreken over de wetenschap achter de coronavaccins en waarom groepsimmuniteit via deze vaccins nooit mogelijk was. Maar al snel duiken we dieper: hoe werden de doelpalen telkens verzet als de data niet uitkwamen? En hoe kon het dat patiënten die bijwerkingen deelden op social media actief werden gecensureerd, mét hulp van artsen en wetenschappers? Volgens Jona is het probleem groter dan Corona alleen. Er heerst een angstcultuur binnen de medische wetenschap die critici al in een vroeg stadium het zwijgen oplegt. Ze noemt het mRNA-vaccin ronduit een slecht vaccin en legt uit waarom. Ook vertelt ze over haar strijd met het Lareb rondom het oversterfte onderzoek, en hoe dat onderzoek werd tegengewerkt zodra de resultaten een onwelkome richting op gingen. Ze had ontslagen kunnen worden. Ze deed het toch. Geen spijt. A Letter to County Delegates Jona Whitesides Mar 21 2 min read   Public Trust Must Be Earned:   Accountability Over Incumbency       Congratulations on Being Elected as a Delegate!       Dear Delegate,       Thank you for stepping forward and serving as a delegate. Your role is critical in preserving a system of elections that is local, accountable, and truly by the people.       I'm running as a convention-only candidate because I believe in the caucus and convention system and in the responsibility entrusted to you. I am asking for your support and vote at the County Convention on April 18th.       This race presents an important contrast. My opponent is both gathering signatures and serving as a county delegate. While each of you will form your own conclusions, I believe that raises fair questions about consistency and commitment to the caucus system.       My background includes extensive experience in financial management and auditing, including evaluating not just financials but also programs and processes to improve efficiency, transparency, and accountability.
