The LATEST EPISODE of Unbothered by Thai Rivera was recorded yesterday (December 1, 2020) which was the 50th anniversary of Rosa Parks refusing to give up her seat. I'm not 100% happy with the way it came out because I think I got away from talking about the White queens that want LGBTQ people of color to stay in the back of the bus where we can't be heard. I also went into Trans activism and the people that think they're the deciders of what is and isn't acceptable, who also usually end up being White. Overall, I think I made my point and am posting it because I think I bring up a lot of stuff we as a community, if that's really what we are, need to address eventually. Either way, I am definitely looking forward to some feedback. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Whimzees Alligators https://amzn.to/3fjKqvf ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- BUY MY ALBUM!!!! ►http://itunes.apple.com/album/id45305... In 2014, he became a Baron and took a seat in the House of Lords, and has been active in championing policies that strengthen families, fight homelessness and domestic abuse, and advocate prison reform. He has also used his 50 years’ experience in the City, to inform good practice & new regulations for the financial markets, while also being a staunch advocate of Britain leaving the European Union. His maiden speech in the House highlighted women’s homelessness, domestic violence and the challenges of social exclusion, while his vocal contributions to welfare and prison reform continued the tone of family stability and the impact and importance of stable relationships. Informing his determination to bring about such change and strengthening that resolve was a shift in thinking that can only be characterised as a late in life understanding of the bigger picture and the providence of the natural world. John’s early success came from Monty Python’s movies such as ‘Life Of Brian’, and ‘The Meaning Of Life’, and ‘Monty Python and The Holy Grail’. He also starred as a host of characters in Monty Python’s Flying Circus; a sketch show which went on to tour across the world with some of John’s stand-out characters featured in ‘Argument Clinic’, ‘Ministry of Silly Walks’, and ‘Dead Parrot sketch’. One of John’s stand-out pieces of work was ‘A Fish Called Wanda‘, a comedy heist film which John won a BAFTA for in the category of Best Actor in a Leading Role in 1988. Following the success with his university classmates, John went on to create one of the most iconic characters in British comedy in Basil Fawlty from ‘Fawlty Towers’, for which he won the 1980 BAFTA for Best Entertainment Performance. With a television career spanning six decades, John has had his fair share of run-ins with censorship and cancel culture to a point where the BBC recently removed his Fawlty Towers episode titled ‘The Germans‘, originally aired back in 1975, because it contained a so-called racial slur. Another incident included Monty Python’s ‘Life Of Brian’ being banned from cinemas in the UK in 1979 because of its blasphemy where a passionate debate unfolded with the Bishop of Southwark on BBC’s ‘Friday Night, Saturday Morning’. John is an advocate for writing jokes about anything, but believes it is becoming much harder to be creative with political correctness – a subject he believes has gone too far to where any form of criticism of an individual or group is labeled as cruel.

I sat down with my wife recently and told her about my plans to run for Mayor of London and she asked one simple question: “why go do this, it is such a risk, such an uncertainty.” It’s a great question and I appreciate my wife for asking. And when I thought about it, I came to this conclusion: I can’t not do this. This has been laid in front of me. You can talk the talk about how this city needs to change, or you can walk the walk. And I want to walk the walk. Having experienced the plethora of problems this great city is facing first hand, I knew I had to put myself in the arena. It is time to stop complaining about the many issues we face, and instead provide the solutions our city needs. Currently, we have a total lack of leadership, a disproportionate response to the virus and a complete lack of science-based decision making. Our city will never return to its former glory without a serious change of leadership which can London in a new direction. We need leadership which will provide the following: - Get London back to work - Put Londoners Health First - Implement a science-based approach - Ensure a bright future for our young people - Make London the greenest capital city in the world - Make London Safe - Fight for Digital Freedom of Speech However I can’t do it alone. For 12 years, Greg was a prominent MP for Leeds North West and served as a Leeds City Councillor for Headingley. Earlier this year, as the pandemic loomed large, Greg took the initiative and created the Campaign for Pubs to offer grassroots support to Pubs and Publicans who were facing closure due to Government guidelines and restrictions. The introduction of laws by the government to the hospitality sector was the social distancing restrictions and the 10pm curfew has resulted in many pubs choosing to remain closed. However, the latest developments are of even greater concern as the government introduced a three-tier plan based on whether communities are deemed high, medium, or low risk. This has had a massive effect on northern cities like Manchester, Liverpool and Leeds who have all been hit with closures of their bars and pubs, while London remains open. Statistics released by the Public Health of England reveal that less than 5% of cases are through the hospitality sector, yet it is one of the hardest hit industries across the UK, something Greg has vocally fought against stating, “If the UK Government does enact the folly of mass closure of pubs when it knows that pubs aren’t the problem, they will never be forgiven by those whose livelihoods, lives & communities they ruin.” The campaign has backed the #NationalTimeOut rent-free period and ‘No Pub No Rent’ initiatives, while also highlighting the unique heritage and history that pubs provide and the vitality to the very fabric of our communities.

For the last two years, David has been helping run the company but unfortunately has faced his most difficult year yet, due to the devastation caused by this pandemic and the ensuing restrictions by the UK government. London is the heartbeat of Britain’s tourism industry, and Big Bus Tours usually operate around 50 buses during a summer weekend. During the peak of the season in 2020, however, they had one bus operating and only a handful of passengers. David has constantly raised concerns about the lack of people on the streets of London during this time, as the city usually welcomes 20 million tourists each year. The reason behind this issue is that visitors have been put off coming to the UK because it has been hit harder by the pandemic than any other European country. This concern has led to David and 44 other bosses in the tourism industry to create an SOS London campaign. Launched at the London Eye, this is a plea for the government to Save Tourism, Organise Campaigns and Support the industry. Since July, David has been urging the government to take immediate action and to halt the collapse of the tourism industry in the capital.

From nicking thieves to being one of the first members of the force on the scene in what turned into the Brixton riots, Peter also spent the best part of his career risking life and limb to bring some of Europe’s most serious criminals and gangsters to justice, foraging in the seedy underbelly of lawlessness by taking on the role of undercover agent at Scotland Yard. The owner of Body Tech Fitness Gym and Raw Iron Clothing in Liverpool recently made national headlines after the armed police attended his gym and issued him with a £1,000 fine after refusing to close in response to new lockdown rules. Last week, Liverpool went into Tier 3 as Northern cities like Manchester and Leeds were also hit with similar measures. The impact on Liverpool has meant gyms, bars and restaurants have been forced to close during this two-week period. Since then, Nick has joined forces with several other gyms in Liverpool to stand up against the Government and has remained open. Despite the warnings that fines would double every three hours, Nick continues his stance and has been supported by a GoFundMe page called ‘Save Liverpool’s Gyms’ which has raised over £50,000 and continues to rise. This lockdown has been responsible for contributing to myriad detrimental effects to people’s mental and physical health, with male suicide at an all-time high in London, and exercise has been a release for people during these uncertain times. However, Nick has been keen to keep people mentally and physically active by providing members with a free gym kit, and following all the necessary safety measures on reopening. Yet, laws have prevented people from having the opportunity to access the health & fitness industry, which have also caused stress and anxiety for many entrepreneurs across the country, to which Nick has highlighted the lack of evidence to support the latest measures. From the 22 million gym visits this has only resulted in 78 covid cases as UK gyms account for only 0.38 cases per 100,000 cases according to data from UK Active. Questions have to be asked about the decision-making of this government, and how they are causing more suffering to entrepreneurs and residents of cities across the country.

Growing up in a mobile home in Burbank, Washington, followed by a stint on his Grandparents cattle farm, few might have expected such a feverish literary mind to emerge from such rudimentary beginnings. Having begun his career as a journalist working locally for a newspaper in Portland, Chuck perhaps unsurprisingly left the desk job behind to become a diesel mechanic, a job he seemingly flourished in and it was only in his late twenties that his calling began to shout louder. Despite being revered as a game-changing exploration of postmodern masculinity, mixed with equal parts philosophy, satire, violence and shameless seediness, the sensory overload that accompanies Fight Club went unheralded until long after Hollywood’s adaptation. These days, with 23 bestsellers to his name, Chuck Palahniuk continues to push the boundaries while maintaining his unique sense of reverie and with his latest instalment to the repertoire The Invention of Sound, making a similarly typical Palahniuk style impact, his prolific resume shows no signs of abating. His latest work ‘The Invention of Sound’ is a chilling and typically offbeat tale of a man’s search for his missing daughter and show’s Palahniuk at the peak of his literary powers in what has been described as his ‘most suspenseful, most daring, and most genre-defying work yet.’ As a fan of his work, it’s a huge privilege to have him on the show and we are sure all of you will walk away with much to ponder. Since then Gary has introduced new projects to the drop-in including a pre-abstinence group, art and IT classes. Previously he worked as a carpenter and with refugees in Greece. Thanksgiving Dinner in London Homelessness is something that many of us see in cities all the time, yet most of us don’t really understand it. This is why I took my entire team at London Real down to a drop-in homeless centre to serve over 100 homeless people Thanksgiving Dinner. When we were down there helping out I met Gary Davidge. The manager of a homeless drop-in centre of the Spitalfields Crypt Trust, in Shoreditch, London, Gary is on the ground with these folks. He gets to know their personal lives, and he taught me so much about what actually goes on in the streets. Helping the homeless Every day Gary works hands-on helping the homeless community, serving some 6,000 meals to over 500 people last year. In the past decade he has introduced pre-abstinence groups and education programmes, and in the next five years plans to launch specific programs for women and addiction recovery.

BUILD YOUR DREAM BUSINESS IN 8 WEEKS: https://londonreal.tv/biz/ 2021 SUMMIT TICKETS: https://londonreal.tv/summit/ NEW MASTERCLASS EACH WEEK: http://londonreal.tv/masterclass-yt LATEST EPISODE: https://londonreal.link/latest Jon Morgan is the current Director of the Theatres Trust in Britain since 2017, a national advisory public body for theatres and is a former director of both the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the Federation for Scottish Theatre. The organisation’s mission is to protect and promote Britain’s theatre buildings, ensuring their survival and ongoing use as performance spaces, which has been made nearly impossible, due to restrictions imposed during the coronavirus pandemic and subsequent lockdowns. The Theatre Trust also successfully lobbied for changes to planning law which will provide extra protections to prevent vacant theatres from being demolished or irreversibly changed into other uses before the sector has had time to recover. The organisation is also fundraising to increase our grant-giving capacity and will be targeting grants to help theatres with reopening costs in due course. He called for “urgent support” from the government, and has been at the forefront of discussions around ways to protect British culture and this crucial industry that brings in £2.7 billion pounds annually to the UK economy. Jon also highlighted that “Our grants programme is relatively modest and given the historic under-investment in our nation’s theatres over the last 30 years, the shortfall is huge. Theatres are going to need a real injection of cash post-COVID to ensure our theatres remain fit for purpose…. We must ensure that the UK’s wonderful network of over 1,100 theatres large and small, old and new, can be saved and serve their communities once again.”
